Recorded calls
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to review coworker's calls and how they found success.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have to remember to log into gong to review calls. More of a personal workflow issue than anything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a new employee I am learning how others frame up our product and sell/demo to new clients.
Easy to use, admin-friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Gong was very easy to set up and is simple to administer. Salesforce integration works well and is fairly straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike! Much better in terms of features than our old software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Logging calls as activity in Salesforce for full transparency of rep engagement.
Gong addict!
What do you like best about the product?
The insights, the fact we can get feedback from colleagues, and how every call is recorded. Makes life so much easier!
What do you dislike about the product?
The transcripts could be better, but this is a minor thing!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better insights for sales calls. I know exactly what to prep for my next call & what was discussed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great insights for sales teams!
Great meeting recording tool, especially for sales
What do you like best about the product?
Obviously, Gong is great because it records your meetings pretty seamlessly. It joins the meeting (I use Google Meet) as "[Organization Name] Notetaker" and doesn't make any noise or anything. The turnaround on the time of the call to the call recording being uploaded is pretty quick, typically within 30 minutes. It shows who's talking, for how long, and when. On top of that, when viewing the recording, it's able to break down parts of the call into sections like "Small Talk" or "Making Intros" which is helpful for navigating the recordings. It also can convert the call into a transcript. Also, depending on your organization, you can view not just your own calls/meetings, but other calls from teammates and throughout the whole company.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't really any cons to using Gong. The only downside is that the transcript isn't super accurate and has a lot of trouble with "uhs" and "ums". Otherwise, it's a really great tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It frees up a ton of time and effort when it comes to notetaking, especially during sales meetings. There's no need to ask people to repeat themselves, or worry about missing an important piece of information. You can focus on the conversation at hand and not have to worry about forgetting important details later on. It also provides the opportunity to learn from other peoples' calls throughout the organization.
Gong is great for tracking meeting follow up items. Super helpful.
What do you like best about the product?
Tracking meeting follow up items helps ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the fact that recorded meetings I sent to my customers expire after 720 days.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can review calls before my next meeting to ensure I hit the ground running and pick up where I left off to keep momentum.
Super helpful for external-facing teams
What do you like best about the product?
I not only use it to record my customer calls, but I also love Gong for my onboarding as I listen through previous calls from other teammates. I also utilize the transcripts and visuals to jump straight to certain parts of recordings.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything I disliked on Gong. Improvements on the transcript would be great but they are relatively minor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Faster employee onboarding and being more focused on customer calls rather than having note-taking being a distraction
Gong is great!
What do you like best about the product?
Sorting through specific people within a meeting. Especially helpful when there are multiple attendees
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I have yet found that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am trying to review calls from my peers to better learn the product
Best way to upskill when starting a sales role remotely - Highly recommend Gong!
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to analyze a call from it.
I've recently started remotely in my new role, and Gong has made it easy to understand, from all the calls recorded, how the top performers go about their calls, their questioning, and their sales process in a way I wouldn't have been able to do it before.

What do you dislike about the product?
Analytics could perhaps be easier to understand but might be just because I am new to the platform and still getting used to it. Also, I'd say there are sometimes many notifications via email but this might also be because I haven't looked at deactivating them
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm new to my role and started remotely so it's invaluable to be able to listen to my colleague's calls.
I'm already using many of the techniques of my most experienced colleagues on calls because of building a habit to listen to at least one Gong call every day.
One other thing I've started doing on my spare time is listening to my own calls as well. It's impressive the benefit that this can bring, I have no idea of many fillers I add into the conversation, and certainly believe it has made me a much better communicator.
My manager also uses Gong on a weekly basis to give me feedback on my calls, which I consider crucial right now as I'm still ramping up in my new role

Use it!
Great sales tool to improve individual, team and overall organizational performance.
What do you like best about the product?
"Share a call" or "Tag" tool: I think the collaboration aspect of Gong is great for work shopping with the team/manager as well as sharing prospecting cold calls with the sales reps. The comment aspect has to be my favorite aspect of Gong. I like how the BDR managers and leaders can provide feedback instantly.
What email notification aspects are there for Gong? Curious how I can get instant updates when those within Infor are viewing or commenting on my calls.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the written transcript of the call was more accurate. I typically can't just copy and paste the transcript for my notes as a lot of the transcript is wrong. Is this something that can be improved?
I also wish when the call is being recorded live we could mark important points of the call as it happens. That way we could review those important points easily later and dont have to relisten to the whole call later. I wish there was more Gong tools actually within outreach.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've learned how pausing and letting the prospect speak has lead them to open up more and share more qualifying information. It's from the speaker bar at the bottom that has helped me with this. It also has helped our team to better our cold calling skills as we can learn from the successes of our peers especially given that a majority of us started virtually and good not benefit for in-office collaboration/learning opportunties.
Great Training Tool + More!
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to listen to my own calls and picking up on things I can improve. I like listening and learning from my team's calls. I also enjoy being able to refer back to my meetings for action items and not have to worry about taking notes during a meeting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I hate hearing my own voice and knowing that my team can see me when/if I make a mistake... but that's a personal problem, not a Gong problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can now remain a present and active listener during my meetings without having to worry about taking notes. Also, being able to listen to my team's meetings and seeing how they handle objections is very helpful.
