Great Self-Development Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Transcriptions of calls, speed that recordings come up, headers/categories that calls can come up in for easier review. I also like the commenting system, helps me get feedback in a clear way, because you are able to comment on highlighted sections of any call.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not too much that I dislike, because I haven't used any other call review software before. I think this is an universal good for anybody in sales or customer support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving issues in customer interaction, as well as pieces of crucial information that I have missed in my notes. I am able to go back over calls and review any information I might have missed while taking notes during the call.

Gong is great for onboarding new hires as it helps them watch and listen to top sales reps and how they work!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike about the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps with coaching and training. One benefit is the searchability for reps to target keywords and specific types of deals at different stages.

Consider the time management has to coach using the tool.

What do you like best about the product?
Call recording tools can easily get a bad rap because sales reps feel it's just to "big brother" their call structure or quality, but there are so many more valuable ways to leverage the tool. Being able to have transcripts of all of your calls, easily accessed recordings to share with customers of demos, etc. for colleagues who couldn't join a meeting, and having the insights to figure out how to improve your talk track/hear what your teammates are doing well in a remote world is super helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could use an improvement on how to get the Gong link onto meetings - this could be our integration, but right now if our SDR has to book a meeting for us, they have to reach out to the AE to ask for the. gong link before they can send the invite which is an irritating extra step.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to focus more on talking and less on note taking with the transcripts is super helpful

I like the transcription feature the best, really good and impressive - very accurate

Somewhat complex on the surface, steepish learning curve

Sales pitch problems, focus during a pitch and answering the customers pain point. This makes it easy to find relevant info about accounts as well

Easy to use
Video, as well as audio of a zoom call, is saved for future use. This is very helpful for the new hires of a client-facing company.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the filters are more accurate. As in team members, topics, year, month, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is an excellent tool for new hires to refer to past calls and learn how to drive a client-facing presentation. Also, it is an excellent self-learning tool.
Gong is a valuable, easy-to-use resource for new and tenured employees
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is fantastic for learning/onboarding. While ramping at my new company, past video recordings with customers have been one of the best learning resources for understanding how we interact with our customers, the value we provide and hearing their thoughts on our products. The turnaround time is fast - calls are prepared and ready to view as quickly as I'd need them.
What do you dislike about the product?
The automatic topic tagging is fine and maybe correct ~60-80% of the time - could be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a Senior Solutions Engineer, I have to understand customers' businesses and how our products help them succeed. Every customer call that I can re-watch on Gong gives me more context for how organizations build with our tools, improving my ability to speak to best practices in my conversations.
