Best tool to manage your data
What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most is that it allows connecting databases to each other, generating views according to a specific interest and what stands out the most is the broad use that can be given to the filters.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't had any dislikes or issues with the tool. It gives me everything I need for my daily work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before, I managed many databases and they were disconnected from each other. Airtable allows me to connect these databases and have quality information. It has also allowed me to generate views that can be shared by inserting code on my website to publicize events that we generate within the Cultural Center.
Great for organizing business workflows
What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility of the tool to create a tool to organize nearly anything, but also has enough out of the box features to make it powerful.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a learning curve in order to be highly proficient with the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Creates source of truth for business workflows
- Helps team collaborate more easily
- Organizes non standard processes

Innovative way to learn new language
What do you like best about the product?
It is a new and easy way to learn a new language. A browser extension which makes learning fun.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is that it is not free
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The language barrier. Translators get benefited by helping them with translation.
My favorite canvas to organize data
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable has been a game-changer for our music management company.
Working with almost 20 artists and running production for hundreds of shows every year, we manage a lot of data.
Before, we were using hundreds of Google Sheet files shared over email, shared Google Drive folders... we were able to work with it, but it was a mess.
We researched a lot of tools specific to our workflow, but at the end decided to go with Airtable to build the solution we exactly needed.
It's super flexible and easy to use, so in just a few days we were able to create a system that reduced our workload drastically. And I'm confident that as our business grows, we'll be able to grow our Airtable setup to fit our needs.
Thanks to the integrations, everything is properly integrated with all of the services that we use — this way once something its updated it gets automatically updated everywhere else.

What do you dislike about the product?
The new interfaces feature is fantastic, but to use it to the fullest I'd love to be able to give users granular permissions so they can only see the parts of the data that I want to give them access to.
The Automations have a lot of room for improvement too. Before the feature was native, we were using Integromat to power multiple automations with Airtable. Although we've been able to move most of them to the native automation feature, there are still a few that are too advanced to be able to be migrated.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a main source of truth that is easily accessible by everyone at the company, while also having the flexibility to be customized to every user needs. Then, connecting that source of truth to other services that we need to use so we don't need to add the same data to multiple places manually. And Airtable was perfect for this.
I run my life in Airtable!
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to color code my records with single- and multiple-select fields, and I love all the options for sorting and grouping.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it can be hard for new users to imagine how to use Airtable if their brain doesn't work this way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable allows me to store and sort all the information for my life. I use it to organize my social media and marketing for my business, to track personal and business finances, to keep track of and rate services and products I'm exploring, as an address book and meeting note storage for networking, and more.
It just makes sense
What do you like best about the product?
It enables customizable automation and decreases communication breakdowns between operational teams and helps facilitate levels of approvals, while leaving a trail to monitor progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's just not super scalable in terms of pricing structure and has limited integrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Internal process management across cross functional teams. Integrates with other softwares well to give us the automation we need. There is only so much communication that can happen over slack and when humans at a scaling company are involved, the more automation the better.
Airtable is my rock for managing support tickets, I couldn't work with out it!!!!!
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable makes it so easy to create a form that is user-friendly and easily accessed and allows the back end of managing the submitted forms a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have nothing bad to say. I mean... it does more than I need it to. I love it! It would be cool to have some automation templates... or maybe there are already and I don't know where to find them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before airtable all the issues from the teams I support would come to my email. UGH. thousands of emails and rules to manage to put them into folders then manually haveing to track them and providing updates took up to much of my time. Airtable has automation that can send emails out based on status and can pull from my notes and wow!! it's a time saver.

I've used Airtable for years now, with my clients, as well as for my own business, and even personal use. It's so flexible.

Because you need your sanity back
What do you like best about the product?
With Airtable and Make.com, I believe you have the core of what you need to automate just about everything for your organizational needs.
Depending on your specific needs, you may need other things like Tally, Calendly, Hubspot, etc... But they all have to feed into some central repository, which is where Airtable shines.
Inside Airtable, you'll not only get to organize all your information but also do things in response to them. The "Automation" feature is a godsend in this regard. It can send emails, update other records, and even call out to other webhooks provided by make.com or similar no-code software based on a trigger.
If you have other people who have to view, edit, and enter information Airtable now has what's called an "Interface" on top of what they have always had called "forms." They're not perfect, but they've come a very, very long way. They should be able to get most of your needs met.
Granted, you may still need some custom coding here and there to get your company organized and managed through airtable.
If you want in-depth control over your information and how things happen in response to changes in the information, starting with Airtable is the way to go.
If you want to put UI first, you may find Airtable lacking.

What do you dislike about the product?
Having used Airtable from the very beginning, I have a lot of stuff I have to clean up because new features in Airtable have made much of my earlier hacks unncessary.
I also want the "Interface" feature to improve to the degree that it can at least do everything the "form" feature can do (i.e. conditional visibility, etc)
Finally, the various automations are hard to track. There has to eventually be a better way to organize this. This may be on me now with the new "section" feature, but there may also be an opportuntiy to innovate here in some way to make it easy for people to see at a high-level when automations are triggered, what they do, and how they interact, etc...

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problem 1: Unorganized information -> Solution: Table
Problem 2: Time wasted doing routine work & feeling like I've forgotten to do something -> Solution: Automation
Problem 3: You want what other people do to be fed into the same place so you can see how everything is going -> Solution: by forms (quite a bit clunky) but much more improved with interface (although not as mature as forms in its features)
Problem 4: Need for variety of reports from same data -> Solution: Extension
Problem 1 & 2 is mostly solved
Problem 3 is still in progress as interface needs more improvement
Problem 4 is mostly solved, but could use the help of the "page designer" being more improved.
