AirTable - Organizing Project Management the way we want it!
What do you like best about the product?
- Simple UI
- Excel-like functionality

What do you dislike about the product?
- Some blocks that provide basic features should be part of the free plan (world clock, countdown etc).
- Plus plan is a waste. I feel like the market for those needing extra data is limited. The features offered in pro are a necessity and should be included in the Plus plan.
- Page Designer needs more functionality. Basic things like editing individual column text font are not possible which again seem basic. Recommend sample-view of font adjustments.
- Non-profit, though discounted, should be offered at a lower rate. This will limit the number of users we get onto AirTable.

Utilize free trial to the maximum potential. Be careful - many of the plus/pro features are necessary to utilize as proper PM tool.
Game changer for remote teams
What do you like best about the product?
Great to have custom fields, many different view options, linking to other records. We use this to plan a festival and for our content calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish more features were available with the free plan

Collaboration with remote team members; keeps everyone on the same page. Helpful to customize field types.
Simple, Fast and Well Thought Out
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is simple to use and is a great platform for team collaboration. Having multiple view options under each base works great to adapt to the needs of each team member. There are also many templates available under the template library and this is very helpful to guide us in creating helpful systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are still learning the details of using airtable, so that we can use it to its full potential. We have been using the free version and the only complain is that the free version doesn't provide for a lot of storage space. We are moving to the pro however and hopefully this will solve the problem!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining communication, managing deadline, keeping in track of projects are all things that we have been able to improve with Airtable

Keep in mind what you are using it for and how many people will need access to the product
Easier than wrangling scientists!

The immediate ease of use! I was able to immediately build a database for our entire organization from scratch.
What do you dislike about the product?
Views are limited for basic users, and I wasn't able to easily figure out how to lookup or return specific fields within other records.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scaling up a nonprofit business - This allows us to manage dozens of outreach programs and hundreds of scientists across several cities.

It was exactly what I was looking for for my non-profit information and project management. I needed something everyone on my board could use and access from the web.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really nothing. I wish the bases could talk to each other, but it is easy enough to work around
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us with manegeing both inventory and clients. We really like how easy it is to use for some of our board members who aren't as savy with excel.
Airtable Helps Us Manage our Information
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is very user-friendly and easy to get started with. It has a really nice UI, and its features make information easy to find, sort, filter, and view. We especially like being able to expand records and see all of the data from one row in an easy format.
What do you dislike about the product?
We wish that there was some stronger cross-base linking functionality, especially when it comes to automatically updating records in one place when they are updated somewhere else. The ability to lock down permissions field-by-field would also be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Airtable to help us keep track of personnel who we have trained at different times. It helps us keep all of their information in one place, so we always have a source of truth for things like their most up-to-date email address and region. It also helps us track trends that we see over time.

What do you like best about the product?
MedEdGuru loves the collaborator and user ease of AirTable. The platform is helpful maintaining organization with the capability of filtering and sorting categories and resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
MedEdGuru does not have specific dislikes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MedEdGuru uses AirTable to organize its online educational resources by category, title, source, etc. in order to import it onto our site. We like the ability to sort and filter by different categories.

What do you like best about the product?
Organise complex information quickly in a great UI for quick access, variable viewing and access anywhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like to export views as reports (CSV usually works fine) or make blocks embedable to external sites
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Airtable for project management and a whole range of business apps in house without need for complex databases or spreadsheets.
Great way to build a database for a nonprofit
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is super easy to get up and running for a nonprofit because of all of the templates (donor management, grant management etc.). The templates help understand how to set up all of the tables and field types. I've used Knack HQ before but Airtable is a lot easier to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't run into any problem yet. I'd like to see a Gantt chart block but I'm guessing they'll add that at some point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our nonprofit needs to track donors, grant opportunities, awards to grantees, educational programs, and a bunch of events. We also do a fair amount of email marketing. The standard CRMs out there don't match up very well for our workflows but we can pick and choose which templates work for us in Airtable.

Airtable is a great product when you need flexible workflows with a wide variety of use cases.
