Great Office Organization Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The different appearances you can use within Airtable. You can create a document as a spreadsheet and then decide it'd best serve you as a calendar and switch between these views and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
The formulas within the spreadsheet view are a bit limited. You have to have the formula apply to the entire row. You also have to be sure to switch a toggle for negative numbers to be included which feels unnecessary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Staying organized and tracking my productivity.

Great alternative to Trello

What do you like best about the product?
There are two things that set AirTable ahead of other tools for me: its flexible views and its accessible api. With these two feature sets we're able to use AirTable for some cool uses cases.
The product allows many users to input data into the familiar spreadsheet view but then you're able to transform this into a myriad of views that can serve other aspects of your business users. We benefit greatly from being able to view help documentation by create or update date in a calendar view while also being able to view the raw details in a spreadsheet view.
Additionally, the form view allows us to hydrate the base without needing integrate/use another product.
Overall, AirTable takes the best parts of spreadsheets and turns them into a layman's DB that can be extended and used easily by many.

What do you dislike about the product?
The one core feature that would make AirTable even more valuable would be to implement webhooks on new/update data rows. This would allow even further integration and push it to be a slick headless cms, even though I'm not sure that is exactly what the company wants their product to be :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use AT for storing common pieces of code, snippets, that our team uses over and over again. This allows us to have a central repository for this data that is easily accessible. We then integrated this AT base with an internal tool through AT's easy to use api which gave us the flexibility we needed. This is essentially a quick headless cms that cut down on the time it took to build an admin interface for adjusting content. A big win.

Make sure the pricing model works well and if their blocks feature is important to you.
Excellent product for users who want options to customize
What do you like best about the product?
There are excellent templates, but also extremely customizable.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's sometimes hard for our clients to use if they are not comfortable with the type of tech.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We love to use Airtable to manage projects, have good overviews of all the moving pieces.
My favorite way to organize my life
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable does things that previously took me 3 separate apps to do (Google Sheets, Trello, Jira). I've started putting my project tasks, customer research data, and personal to-dos into Airtable since it has all the features I was using the other apps for.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be really nice if there was a kanban view at the Task level instead only making it available at the record level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I gave Airtable a shot because I kept trying different tools to organize all of my projects and to-dos. I like Trello, but it doesn't have all of the features I need. Jira has lots of features, but it's clunky and I run into constant problems with it. Google sheets is where I'd store my customer data, and it works just fine, but Airtable lets me group and cross-reference each data point in ways I can't in Sheets.
We Are in Love with AirTable!
What do you like best about the product?
We recently switched to AirTable, and we have so many blocks. It helps us separate the different tasks we have to do as well as make plans for the whole team. I have a mixed role, so this program is perfect for me!
What do you dislike about the product?
The free version is very limited. But even in that, we should be able to have better notifications. Email is great, but I'm not looking at my email notifications all the time. I'd rather have it sent to Slack, but the integration, on their behalf or on the behalf of Slack is terrible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With AirTable, we have an internal system that does not occupy all of our storage on Gmail. It's accessible by all of our members, and we are able to leave comments and notes on there. Maybe some of the issues that we have with the program will be resolved when we switch to the paid version of the app.
A bit to ramp up.. but its so worth it
What do you like best about the product?
Soo dynamic. I used to pre-plan my project management on a white board. Now I don't feel like I really need to do that, I just start plugging things in, and can always move it around after. I also use it for SO many different types of things. Event tracking, project management, Campaign tracking, partner relationships... the list is endless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its pretty daunting for a new user, so its hard to convince other coworkers to use it. But if you start a base and get it going, eventually they will adopt. I'd advise finding a really cool feature and showing them how powerful it is (and easy). Additionally, sometimes I find that it's hard to find new features and when/where its most useful to use them. I still feel I only know about 5% of the Airtable capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing, creating processes, constantly revising, tracking.. honestly it's endless. I feel that I constantly am thinking of a different use case for it. I've been able to use it to create a live system. For me it displaces google docs, when I look at a google doc now, it just seems so outdated. Excel is to hard to use and complex, this is a new and way more helpful tool for me. At work, and at home.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it.. Just start, get in the software and start putting things in, you'll get the hang of it eventually.
Airtable is Unbeatable!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the functionality, layout, color scheme, and organization of Airtable.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is complex (in a good way), which does require a need to watch tutorials and practice!

I’m keeping things organized and structured for multiple clients who are doing multiple things.

Take the time to learn and play with the program before using it for data purposes! Watch tutorials and practice

What do you like best about the product?
This has been a great advancement over Excel and Sheets. I am able to build a process for my business and integrate it with other programs. We have looked at other systems and keep coming back because of its flexibility and simplicity.
What do you dislike about the product?
They need to work on printing formatting and output. Start with just being able to have some basic formatting of views.

We use it to track our customers and the products/services they are using.

Team Collaboration for Arts Programming
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to switch views and it creates a very stable place to share and collaborate on content
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish some of the fields were less "excel-like" and more an open multi-line field.

What do you like best about the product?
I love airtable because it is flexible. I am able to use it for more than just time sheets. It works for anything you need to organize or document. Farmers can utilize and so could. Soccer team.

The down side is that it could be a bit confusing the non accountants
