Increasing using Airtable for more & more purposes to manage data in our environment
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable, in many ways, is like a simplified Excel. However, the interface is intuitive and easy-to-use, so gleaning information out of raw data is simple. I'm impressed by it's versatility, as well. Initial implementation was fast and easy, and finding additional support services has been great. We use if for everything from basic office metrics to analyzing survey information to tracking ongoing projects. The addition of some AI as well as interface support has been welcome and useful. We've not graduated to much heavier use, including integration with some of our existing system, and working on automation to improve both our use and data integrity.
What do you dislike about the product?
While simplicity and flexibility is its strength, it can be somewhat "too simple", not providing more flexibility and power of some advanced calculations or more flexible/advanced charting options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving multiple issues: (1) we are centralizing reporting for the entire office, so everyone can get access to reports; (2) we are providing a cloud-based solution, so access is from "wherever we are" rather than just in the office; (3) we use it to track and report ongoing projects; and (4) we use it to support our outreach efforts, including as a Customer database.
Excellent and user friendly management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable permits a gathering of associates to store, share, and work together with data and append records. The data may be thoughts, stock, errands, or something different. Likewise, the onboarding and preparing are so straightforward and not time concentrated.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to make more modest, more granular subtasks for each mission, project, task, and so forth. You can check out a mission from a significant level outline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My group fundamentally involves Airtable for a project on the board and arranging. It's useful for arranging out all viewpoints/projects that are needed for each mission so we can prepare.
Simple yet powerful
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy how simple the user interface is. The software's clean design makes it simple and enjoyable to use. It is less daunting for people new to airtable when it is shared among users. I really like how we can modify and manage various Airtable databases. Even the free version gives you a lot of customising choices Another thing that I enjoy is the several view choices This functionality allows us to view data in a variety of ways.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd want to see more integrations, especially with Microsoft. My organisation uses SharePoint Online as an intranet, and it's a nightmare to have to build up roundabout ways to coordinate data between the two programmes. It'd also be fantastic if there was a simple solution to get around pagination API difficulties where just the first 100 entries were sent to the destination.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We utilise it in my company for a variety of reasons. It has performed well in my job area in terms of tracking our workflow, allowing us to handle project information more efficiently and construct easy programmes for our clients and ourselves without having to write anything complicated. One of our key concerns with Airtable was used for creating a specialised backend for different integrations of different components in the application.
Airtable for resource management
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is a great off the shelf solution for those looking to upgrade from excel and google docs. My company was looking for a platform to store and manage many of our datasets and workflow. Airtable has been a great solution so far.
What do you dislike about the product?
Airtable can be expensive if not using it for a wide array of databases and users. We started using Airtable for just one solution but it was very costly. Once we figured out how to use it for many other applications, then the cost was justified.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable has helped us keep track of our equipment, calibrations, supporting documents, and manuals. We can set access levels for individual users and create custom views.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Airtable is great but may require a full-time employee to set up and manage the databases you create and use.
Very Incredible and Excellent Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable has a huge load of gadgets and incorporations that improve its current usefulness. There is likewise broad documentation and instructional exercise base for new clients to rapidly figure out how to take advantage of the stage.
What do you dislike about the product?
Contingent upon the size of the table you are working with, Airtable can here and there take a piece to look for a specific record. I likewise observe the structures segment to be unwieldy when attempting to do different sections.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been involved in it for a considerable length of time: content schedules, overseeing exercises for various representatives, and as a customer data set.
Avid user of AirTable for well over a year
What do you like best about the product?
The price of AirTable to get started is free.
That's bonus #1.
The grid view is really easy to use, and is like having a Google Sheet or Excel spreadsheet on steroids.
I use AirTable for a number of use-cases.
Firstly, with my own customers, I build people's websites together on Zoom so they can learn how to do it themselves at the same time.
Part of each project is preparation.
I have a whole checklist set up on AirTable that I share with my clients to fill out and follow, step by step, before we do our 1:1 call.
AirTable updates in real-time and therefore I can see their progress and collaborate.
I am able to send them an invite and control what they can do with the grid as well.
There is options to upload videos, pictures, logos, type text, include URLs, and lots of other things like that which makes it a really powerful way for me to manage my 1:1.
I have literally 100s of these grids set up with my 1:1 clients.
Secondly, I have my own projects that I manage.
For example, I have an internal grid that I use with AirTable for people who want to get a free consultation on what software/platform to use for their online business (i.e. courses, membership, funnels, email marketing, etc).
AirTable lets you create a questionnaire / form, and they can fill out the answers.
Once they fill out, I set up an automation where they receive a thank you email and an invitation to book a call with me.
The answers are emailed to me and also added to a spreadsheet on the same AirTable grid.
My entire software free consultation process and systeme is on AirTable.
There are other use-cases, but you get the idea.
I have a YouTube video I recorded to give a taste of how I use AirTable, in case you want to see more.

What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing is a double-edge sword.
I love the fact that it is free!
But to be honest, I'd happily pay something for it considering I am an avid user.
However, the way their pricing model works it's really not designed for a solopreneur like me - it's designed to accommodate for big corporate companies which makes it not feasible for me to be a paying subscriber.
For example, a competitor called "Bloo" has a simple flat fee of $50/month. That's way more reasonable for a solopreneur like me versus what AirTable would charge for the paid features.
I am also not a big fan of the other table views, perhaps I have not figured out how to use them properly.
The grid view and the form is what I love AirTable for, and the rest I find not as user-friendly on a personal level (although it doesn't bother me as the grid view is fine).

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing my business plans in one place.
Having a really user-friendly and intuitive and collaborative tool to work with my private 1:1 clients.
Having a streamlined system to collect information for people wanting to get a free software consultation with me.
You can see an example of the questionnaire and that process on this page: EranFunnels.com/software

Airtable the extended excel sheet
What do you like best about the product?
Oh I love the tool to the core. It helps me sort data in the most efficient and effective manner. The grouping and filtering of data is way powerful and you don't need to handhold your clients
What do you dislike about the product?
I have a lot of members on my team and if I add them to my workbase I have to pay for each member. I don't like this pay per user pattern. I would love if there is reporting facility (the interface is not user friendly)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use airtable as a CMS solution and it is the most efficient solution I have ever used. In fact the onboarding solves the newbie troubles and I love the way the data is all sorted.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is an excel with extra functionalities. If you are a Pro in Excel, you'd find this tool incredibly useful.
Data made easy!
What do you like best about the product?
It helps put all of your data in one centralized location and once it's up and running, the user interface is very easy to use! I like the layout of airtable a lot and is a good middle ground between storing data manually and a more complex data analytics software.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are sometimes minor glitches with the system, so sometimes preferences and settings won't be saved and I'll have to go in and manually revert them back.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to track inventory using Airtable and are able to track what styles are in stock through the system. We are able to connect Airtable to our other systems in place for a good integration!
Airtable is making Project and Data management easy
What do you like best about the product?
It's been a year using Airtable. Data management and Visualization is the best feature of the Airtable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am using Airtable since Jan 2021. I didn't feel any disliking to airtable. Everything is fine and good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Daily data management and visualization of data. Project management
Organization for all your needs
What do you like best about the product?
I love that AirTable provides you with prefabricated templates for so many different logistical tasks. You can easily implement and edit their templates. I love that it is an app for my computer, phone and ipad. I can use it for work, I can use it for the grocery store, I can use it for every day life.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say I 'dislike' anything. But I think the filtering options can be a little better. They can be confusing when trying to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a blog editorial table, a campaign calendar table, a to-do list table, a trade show logistics table. It is updated in real-time for all shared users. It is a perfect way to stay organized and take out the need to send constant email chains.
