What do you like best about the product?
The ability to quickly and easily customize emails to prospects using sequences and bulk compose features.

Using Outreach.io as a sales training tool by being able to listen in on calls from my reps.
What do you dislike about the product?
In our business model it's all about working the Account, not the Prospect, so it would be nice to have Outreach.io set up to work that way when synced to salesforce.com, rather the stages would go through account level AND the Prospect level.

It would be nice if tag's we were able to sync with SFDC, and you're able to filter by the tags created in SFDC. Notes syncing to SFDC is something I've longed for as well.
Opportunity creation in Outreach.io is clunkly IMO and we still use SFDC to track revenue and targets, more specifically because the opportunity is tied to the account and not the prospect in our instance.

It would be nice to have more reporting functionality as an admin of the system, which does seem to be improving significantly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cold outreach is tough to consistently reach out to target prospects without a system like Outreach.io in place. It allows our sales team to work efficiently using sequences in order to open opportunities for our reps to then drive real ROI to our quota attainment. Outreach.io still allows for a personal connection to the prospect without the email feeling generic, as well as a slough of other touch points critical to breaking down walls of industry exectuives.

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to create sequences with as much control as you want over them, with steps for all kinds of touches (email, phone, LinkedIn, etc.)
Reporting to easily see how team is performing, which sequences are working the best, etc. makes it easier to determine and implement the highest performing sequences.
Outreach Support is available to answer any questions or issues you're having.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's no way to see which specific links were clicked in an email if there's more than one link.
Trying to not go over the API calls limit when first setting Outreach up was difficult and caused unexpected issues during the first week of troubleshooting.
I wish there was a way to choose exact time periods you want in reports since you can't go back more than a month usually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having an automated tool to sequence prospects in, reducing the need to manually email everyone and then remember to follow up.
Getting more detailed insights into how sequences are performing and even individuals.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sequence options could be easier to use and build from a user perspective. Also, being able to send in prospects time-zones is a key feature I do not see.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Productivity gains
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely a good sequencing tool once your team is trained and using the product correctly. I would strongly recommend the browser plug-ins.

What do you like best about the product?
It's very helpful in managing and keeping track of any tasks needed in the life of an SDR, BDR, BD Manager. In addition, it helps you see not only what you need to do but how well you and your team are doing.
What do you dislike about the product?
As the product grows and develops it requires more training. I think the training could be more personal and hands-on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Growing our pipline and improving the way we interact with prospects.

Spend the time in the beginning getting to know how to use it well.

What do you like best about the product?
Outreach is a relatively easy-to-use sales enablement platform that my team uses daily to help drive demos for our team. As a marketing director, it's easy to write and send emails on behalf of our account team to help make them more efficient. I particularly appreciate their team listening to product feedback and feature requests. They invest in customer-requested features and roll out large updates on a regular basis that make the tool more useful (rather than prettier like many SaaS companies).
What do you dislike about the product?
Their customer support team, particularly on chat, is not well trained on the product and is not always very helpful. I often find as an administrator that I know more than their support team. Our account team is usually who I go to with technical issues as they tend to be able to help me much faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a marketer, Outreach has helped me send customized marketing messages that should come from a sales rep, from a sales rep. Rather than sending from a fake email address that looks like a rep. It has helped us majorly scale our demo production when we started from none.

What do you like best about the product?
Core functionality - the sequencing and template capabilities are clear and explainable once you understand some of the underlying pieces (ex: Schedules). Applied AI in some interesting places (response sentiment). Invested in developing additional capabilities in a cogent way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Core sequencing / email hasn't changed in a while. I would like better template integration into the workflow. For example, an ability to inject messaging based on persona rather than needing to build separate sequences. In general, a way to cut down on Sequences being created and Sequence management would be nice...

Additionally, better reporting; very fragile reporting which doesn't really show you what you want to see out of the box, with very little ability to customize.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Classic sales engagement. Sales Outbound is our primary channel for prospect engagement, so Outreach is the main platform we use to enhance that. We've looked at some of the additional features (dialers, transcription via KAia, deal review) but haven't found enough there yet to invest.

What do you like best about the product?
I should preface upfront I am not a daily user; I am an admin. I like now a blended like of the product features sequencing, multi touchpoints within a sequence(social, email/tactical etc), tracking, to the admin setting back end of the house. It could be because I am very comfortable with the UI since I have used the product through many different roles and iterations of products, but it makes sense to me logically.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest gripe is the automation features and syncing issues. For example, custom triggers, understanding if they have run, trying to trace back and understand some of the steps, why or why a potential customer is dropped into a sequence that has an overlaying automation trigger where they should have been. On top of that, I have had an ongoing issue with updates in and out of SFDC; I am constantly finding myself force pushing updates out to SFDC on meetings set in outreach back into events in SFDC. I have reviewed it with support, and that the discovery process is always the same. When having goals ties to meetings set, had, or ghosted and those are driven by AE's booking meetings from their email synced with Outreach, we are left not to trust the system, data, or me as the admin to make sure it's adequately integrated, so that is a big bummer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving multi-touch, threaded communication between our Account Executives and sdrs and Potential customers. Outreach allows us to do all of our prospecting in one system; with the integrations with gift programs, Social platforms, and others as an Admin, I can put steps for them to complete the task directly within outreach. Outreach saves our users many manual steps when sending emails that require personalization from details that already in our database—having the ability to run warm touch customized top of funnel programs and 1:1 off the cuff emails all while being tracked with our CRM/SFDC is key to our user's productivity and prospecting.

Easy mappings for system integrations, and ease of use for reporting.

It can be a bit difficult to navigate, and reporting could be done more effectively.
