Amazing tool for organizational in both my personal and work life
What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been using Notion AI on the Business plan, and honestly, it’s been incredible — even though I don’t actually run a business! It’s become my all-in-one space for organizing my life, managing finances, tracking projects, and even creative writing.
The AI assistant feels like a real partner — it helps me summarize long notes, write drafts faster, and organize information in ways I never could manually. The Business plan features (like advanced permissions, page analytics, and unlimited AI responses) have been worth it for the peace of mind and flexibility they give me.
Whether you’re running a company or just managing your own life, Notion AI truly scales to you. It’s been one of the best productivity tools I’ve ever invested in.

What do you dislike about the product?
My only wish is for a bit more customization — especially when it comes to the AI’s tone, formatting, and how it interacts with my templates. I’d love more control over how it presents results or remembers my preferences.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me bring everything into one place — notes, tasks, goals, finances, creative ideas — instead of using ten different apps. It saves me time, keeps me focused, and helps me actually follow through on plans instead of losing track
Managing Life And Business In One Place
What do you like best about the product?
The new AI Agent has been a game changer. I'm now able to do all of my work in one tool. No longer building in Notion but using ChatGPT for all content creation help.
What do you dislike about the product?
Onboarding to the tool can be difficult if your not already stepping into a fully designed system. It's biggest strength is also it's biggest weakness when new user arrive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Client communication was a larger struggle for me before Notion's AI integration. It's able to review my entire conversation history and help me remember small personal client details that I may not. When there are several options for response or reach out, the AI writing assistant is good at offering me options and weighing the pros/cons.
Best in class
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of customizing layouts and formatting different pages, navigation between sections and pages, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be overwhelming with all of the options, but the AI feature really helps with making it the way
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've created a team portal with all of the training material and reference documents that our team members need for onboarding and ongoing learning/reference. We also use it as a reference place for our list of preferred vendors, easy access to our team documents, etc.
Powerful AI features that have replaced multiple tools for me
What do you like best about the product?
Incredibly reliable, and it's replaced Google Docs, Airtable, and ChatGPT. I love using this for tracking meetings and searching through data using AI. I love how they consistently release new features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see a little bit more of a robust automation feature for databases. I know AI agents are on the way to do a lot of automations, and I'm hoping that will alleviate this pain point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to query large amounts of data in a database, ask questions, and get consistently accurate answers has been a game-changer.
Notion has changed the way I manage all of my tasks and behind the scenes work and course management
What do you like best about the product?
The database format and ability to organize unlike any other tool is a defining feature. I can manage and automate complex workflows that streamline my day to day with ease, especially with the new AI features.
What do you dislike about the product?
It should be noted that some workflows and features are not dead simple, but with some research and help from Notion AI they are accessible to all users. Or if your not a builder there are templates. From a non coder background some workflows take 3-4 steps and iterations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion currently manages all of my college workflows, course management, note taking, and schedule organization. I am currently building a command center that will manage all of the back end tasking for my landscaping business. It also manages all of my personal tasks, organization, notes, reading lists, etc etc
Game changing
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Notion is its ability to serve as a unified operating system for complex, cross-functional work. I manage multiple high-stakes programs (AI governance, business continuity, security operations) that require tracking use cases, meeting notes, frameworks, tasks, and SMART goals—all with heavy interdependencies. Notion's relational databases let me link everything seamlessly; a single use case can connect to meeting notes, action items, framework documents, and risk assessments without duplication or version control chaos. The flexibility to build custom views (tables, boards, timelines) means I can surface the right context for different audiences (executive dashboards vs. detailed project tracking) from the same underlying data. Most helpful is that I can maintain a single source of truth across my entire workspace while still having the agility to adapt structures as my programs mature. Whether I'm drafting governance playbooks, tracking Q3 deliverables, or cataloging AI red team techniques, everything lives in one searchable, interconnected system that scales with the complexity of the work rather than fighting against it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, nothing significant comes to mind. Notion handles the complexity of my work well, and any minor limitations (mobile experience isn't quite as robust as desktop, occasional performance with very large databases) are easily manageable and don't interfere with daily operations. It does what I need it to do.

## Response
Notion solves the problem of managing multiple complex programs without losing track of everything. I run AI governance, business continuity, and security operations simultaneously, and before Notion I was constantly switching between tools—separate systems for meeting notes, tasks, documentation, and tracking. Information got scattered, I'd lose context, and nothing connected. Now everything lives in one place and links together: a use case connects to the meeting notes, the framework requirement, the action items, and the goal it supports. I spend less time hunting for information and more time actually doing the work. The biggest benefit is speed and confidence; I can answer questions quickly with full context, track deliverables across programs, and maintain continuity as things shift. Essentially, it lets me operate at the complexity my role requires without the system getting in the way.

Notion boosts productivity and organization
What do you like best about the product?
I initially switched to Notion for its Project Management capabilities. I was using it to keep various projects, notes, and tasks organized. I had no idea how much time it would save me every day! Notion AI has been a huge asset to my workflows as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
While there are many available “templates” for pages, dashboards, and databases, I found Notion to take considerably more time to build UP-FRONT compared to other management softwares. However, now that I have tailored it and built it, I rarely have to tweak it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I try to utilize Notion to its full potential. I use most of its features and pay for the business license. Before Notion I was hand writing meeting notes, manually tracking projects, dates, deliverables, and tasks. But now Notion does it all so much more efficiently!
Great user experience means more and easier to find docs
What do you like best about the product?
Really easy to get started, databases and different views let you easily keep track of whatever you want (internal newsletters are the most recent example at my company).
What do you dislike about the product?
The non-AI search kinda sucks. Thankfully, Notion is leaning more heavily into AI, which makes this irrelevant.

Great wiki platform!
What do you like best about the product?
Love this all-in-one workspace for company/dept wiki's notes, documents, and lightweight databases, particularly well-suited for individuals and small teams. While it does scale reasonably well handling permissions may get complicated. Our team likes the AI tools and are very useful for summarizing and reformatting content.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Permission granularity & inheritance can confuse sharing
2. Limited spreadsheet‑grade formulas/rollup
3. Offline support is partial

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping me store all our policies, processes, etc in on easy to use place and that is user friendly for our company.
Powerful all-in-one workspace that transformed how we organize our business
What do you like best about the product?
Notion's flexibility is unmatched - it serves as our project management system, documentation hub, and knowledge base all in one place. The database features are incredibly powerful, allowing us to create custom views and relationships between different types of content. The real-time collaboration works seamlessly, and the ability to embed various content types keeps everything centralized. The template system saves us countless hours, and the clean interface makes it easy to onboard new team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
The offline functionality could be stronger - there's sometimes a delay when working without internet. The mobile app, while functional, doesn't quite match the desktop experience for complex page editing. The learning curve can be steep initially for team members unfamiliar with databases and relational features. Occasional lag when working with very large databases with many relations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solved our scattered knowledge problem - critical information was stuck in people's heads or across multiple tools. Now we have a single source of truth for everything from product specs to marketing campaigns to manufacturing coordination.
The biggest win is reducing founder dependency. By documenting processes and SOPs, our team finds answers independently instead of waiting on leadership. This is crucial with 68% of our team remote.
We manage our entire operation in Notion: product development, marketing tracking, ambassador programs, vendor relationships, and financial planning. The database features let us create custom views while maintaining unified data.
For a hardware startup transitioning to AI-first operations, Notion provides the infrastructure to scale systematically instead of reactively. It's transformed us from ad-hoc execution to process-driven growth.
