Great knowledge management and process centralization tool!
What do you like best about the product?
It's very user-friendly and intuitive especially for users coming over from another comparable product. I like how easily content can be added, rearranged, moved from page to page, and formatted. Page cover images, emoji icons, and a simplified UI are all perks that can be leveraged to make otherwise boring pages stand out and more engaging for employees.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you're a part of a smaller org that utilizes Notion, there is no implementation process so you have to figure it out as you go. This leads to misuse and mismanagement of the platform and the content within it. There are so many pages that employees have to fumble through and the search function isn't the greatest compared to other similar platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's our (only) central storage of all org-related knowledge, processes, onboarding checklists, etc...if something needs to be permanently housed for long-term use/reference, Notion is where our org puts it. Not the best solution, but an easy one to use at least.

Il faut un peu de temps pour s'habituer à utiliser Notion. Ce n'est pas exactement intuitif, mais il y a beaucoup de matériel d'apprentissage et des modèles utiles disponibles pour aider dans le parcours d'apprentissage.
Quels sont les problèmes que the product résout, et en quoi cela vous est-il bénéfique?
Nous utilisons Notion comme notre web interne. Cela nous permet de créer rapidement de la documentation, des processus et de partager des informations de manière collaborative, afin que tout le monde puisse contribuer à sa création et être à l'aise pour trouver le matériel chaque fois qu'ils ont besoin d'y accéder. C'est plus efficace, selon mon expérience, que SharePoint pour cet objectif et plus flexible que Google Drive.

What do you like best about the product?
I can run my whole personal and business life through it and it's so customisable, I can fit to whatever my needs are. Great on mobile also.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a steep learning curve to become a real ninja user and you have to enjoy creating systems and building things from scratch. Though it does make it easy to do that, it's more if you're brain is wired that way. If not you may want a simpler solution

Flexibilité. Il semble que nous puissions adapter Notion à presque tous les projets. Nous sommes utilisateurs depuis quelques mois ; en tant que PDG, j'ai trouvé de la valeur à avoir des données mises à jour pour créer des rapports pour mon conseil d'administration. Cependant, je suis maintenant dans une situation où j'ai besoin d'embaucher quelqu'un pour maintenir Notion en bon état.

La configuration initiale. Cela m'a pris 3 à 5 jours (3 heures par jour) pour apprendre à mettre en œuvre un tableau de bord basique pour la gestion de projet à partir de vidéos et de manuels. Ensuite, j'ai appris qu'il existe des modèles disponibles, mais ils nécessitent encore une personnalisation qui m'a également pris une semaine supplémentaire. Peut-être qu'un simple entonnoir initial pour comprendre les besoins de l'utilisateur et suggérer le modèle le plus populaire rendra le processus initial plus rapide.

Chaque mois, je dois préparer une présentation avec des mises à jour pour le conseil. C'est un format standard simple; cependant, le suivi du projet m'a pris beaucoup de temps. Avec Notion, je peux créer des tableaux de bord simples pour m'indiquer ce qui est retardé, un diagramme de Gantt pour toute l'entreprise et les budgets. C'est très pratique.

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use and learn how to use, very coloful if needed. lot of useful functions.

As an admin I think that you miss some features like the account transfert or more precise audit log.

Notion completely solve the issue with the capability that we have to share knowledge and more we share more efficient we can be at work.
It is convenient to store unimportant information that you can return to later.

Ability to quickly outline a plan or a short article. The division into folders, subfolders, and categories.

Sometimes the editor doesn't listen to you.
And there is still a lack of support for exporting pdf in horizontal format and the wrapping of long lines in blocks of code during export.
It is also desirable to allow all pages to be displayed in full width in the profile settings.

As I mentioned above, it helps me write small articles for users, or for me.
And I use it a little bit as a knowledge base.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the versatility in how you can format and present information. Notion is easy to use and customize the way you'd like and makes it simple to present information in an engaging way that also makes sense. It also has a robust data engine that allows you to reference other docs and build out formulas (something I'm not familiar with but have seen others leverage and it's super cool)
What do you dislike about the product?
Certain features I would use for collaborating don't work so well - like linking out to a section of the document to share is super buggy if the doc gets to a certain size. Also, being listed as a collaborator on a document can be a nightmare because you can't mute the notifications unless you remove yourself from the document. Support was responsive with this issue and I think they're working on it, but it's not up to par with a Paper or Google Doc in this area yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion gives me more freedom to visually present information the way I would like it, compared to Google Docs which is too rigid and without half the formatting capabilities. I've built launch plans and briefs with images and tables and it all around was simple and intuitive.

What do you like best about the product?
Notion lets me share notes and documents with my team and provides the features to keep everything organized and easy to find. We were able to get rid of loose documents and bad file structuring.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are glitches sometimes that caused our data to be inaccessible for a while, this was solved with help from Notion's customer support. The iOS app also has a glitch where the app shifts around content or freezes when you reopen it from running the app in the background.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves the situation where our .txt files are all over the place. Meeting notes can be easily kept together with other project documentation. It is also the place where company policies and similar documents are kept and updated if necessary.
