Je suis un ancien programmeur. Maintenant, dans le poste de COO et co-fondateur de la startup, nous avions besoin d'un "ERP" commercial qui conviendrait à nos besoins. Eh bien, le voici - vous pouvez connecter et référencer n'importe quelle donnée n'importe où et ne jamais gaspiller d'énergie avec des recherches et des doublons.

Comme Notion est puissant pour personnaliser, cela peut également être un problème de productivité. Vous devez être conscient, si vous construisez un espace de travail durable qui est à toute épreuve.

What do you like best about the product?
Everyone in our company putting together their piece of the puzzle to make the work easier and more effective for colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Putting together statistic. There are not enough automation solution, like how I want it to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am working with statistic so i reached out to the notion support and they told me that they were working with a '+ button' that you could produce inside a table.

What i like best is the ability to build a Quick Brief for clients, based on previous template
Also tool is simple but you can create much more complex page including database, formula; it will compete with excel but again for fast and clear presentation, this is very handy

What do you dislike about the product?
1)You can't create Folder!!
Ask for this request many times, but it just seems to be an essential feature;
right now, we have only pages that could work potentially as a "folder," but the thing is, many pages for one marketing project will have different teams involved with different lvl of access, so you don't want to have all your pages regroup in one page only as sub pages (i can't go into detail but this will surely be an issue for you if, like me, you manage different teams with different permission) , you want a simple folder, and this will change so many things
2) Some features don't seems to be on point and/or logical
* the ability to create your own template
* When you duplicate a page and make changes, but it applies to both page
* when you charge an existing Database for one specific project, make some modification, and this applies to the original database as well!

Very simple at times, but then also needlessly complex at others.
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is by far the easiest way to get information presented on screen in a good looking and easy to manage format that allows for collaborative editing by multiple people at the same time.
It's very easy to drop different media types and links into your documents and have Notion simply auto transform it.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is no way to export audit logs to automatically for security visibility.
Working with databases and tables inside Notion is cumbersome and there also isn't any simple way to link different pages to each other.
Each page is completely stand-alone unlike some other platforms that allow interlinking with views.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion makes collaboration between multiple teams and persons very simple and straight forward in real-time while also making it look good quite simply.
We use it across the business as an Intranet of sorts, storing our processes, documentation and SOP's as well as IT self-help guides for easy user access.
External sharing also works really well.

La version en ligne est moins bonne si vous la comparez à l'application que vous pouvez télécharger.

C'est vraiment facile pour la gestion de projet et le backlog.
Great features, hampered by bugs
What do you like best about the product?
Databases are very useful. They make it easy to organize data, can be used for almost anything, and the different types of views are very helpful. I don’t think there’s anything like it elsewhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
I just don’t like the plethora of bugs I’m constantly running into. Fortunately, they are usually just some relatively minor annoyances, but still, they make the user experience much worse than it could be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me with personal task management and note taking. Also, it’s great for sharing notes and proposals with others. It definitely makes me more productive (on the other hand, some dedicated time management software might do a better job).

C'est ma façon préférée de présenter et de stocker des informations. Tout est possible, d'un manuel du personnel à la présentation, avec des bibliothèques de documents entre les deux.

Je voudrais voir une protection par mot de passe sur certaines parties de l'espace de travail.

C'est une source centrale de vérité pour toute notre entreprise. Je ne suis plus en train de gérer en urgence les demandes concernant nos politiques, notes de processus, modes d'emploi, etc., donc cela me fait gagner beaucoup de temps.

Flexibilité de création de pages. Cela m'a permis de créer des pages comme je le souhaitais et comme je voulais qu'elles apparaissent. De plus, les options de verrouillage de la base de données ou de permettre l'interaction sur les pages sont très utiles.

Je trouve que les obstacles pour s'y habituer sont assez élevés. Il m'a fallu un certain temps pour trouver les raccourcis et fonctions "cachés". Mais une fois que je m'y suis habitué, c'était plus que pratique.
Quels sont les problèmes que the product résout, et en quoi cela vous est-il bénéfique?
J'avais besoin d'un espace de travail en ligne pour enregistrer mes données et les visualiser, et Notion m'a aidé à le faire. Cela m'a également permis de collaborer avec d'autres et d'interagir en ligne. Cela m'a aidé à construire une culture de travail.
Weird bugs but overall a simple, good, experience
What do you like best about the product?
It's simplicity to use. You can just duplicate pages and even without reading through FAQs most of the page creation is relatively intuitive. The support, overall, is good as well

At times the support hasn't been great. Switching between different agents for the same problem where I have to reiterate my problem. Also at times things that should be simple seem to be confusing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating a centralised location for our company procedures, rules and policies that anyone in the team can access. It also provides us with a place we can add details for each of our clients to access.

Les prix pour les équipes plus grandes peuvent être dissuasifs (mais cela en vaut la peine pour notre entreprise)
