Strong Product Management/Intranet Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is powerful, easy to use once you learn the / system, and can accomplish most tasks you might want to use it for
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion could use more call outs in the platform to educate people on how to use the different features. Note taking could be cleaner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps our team keep documents & Projects organized - it helps us by providing a simple, searchable system to hold important information.

Ce qui m'a amené à Notion, c'était la recherche d'un outil de co-rédaction, dans lequel mes coéquipiers et moi pouvions tous travailler en même temps. Ce qui m'a poussé à étendre rapidement l'utilisation de cet outil de mon assistant exécutif et moi au reste de mon équipe, c'était son ensemble de fonctionnalités étendu et sa grande capacité de travail en équipe.
Que n’aimez-vous pas à propos de the product?
La partie la plus faible est la sécurité. Il n'y a pas de 2FA (enfin, seulement pour les utilisateurs de G-Suite). J'allais écrire un article dans une grande publication pour les avocats, mais cette seule caractéristique m'a fait hésiter. Mon entreprise n'a pas d'informations sensibles stockées dans nos notes Notion, donc ce n'est pas un problème majeur, mais cela devrait l'être pour de nombreuses entreprises.

We consolidated from Trello & Monday.com to Notion and haven't looked back.
What do you like best about the product?
The most powerful thing about Notion is that you can pretty much do anything with it. We were able to consolidate Marketing, Customer success and the engineering team onto one platform using Notion.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unable to have sequential numbering in a database to use as an ID.
No native way to create graphs for reporting.
Unable to choose which events or actions trigger a Slack notification. We have had to use a 3rd party application to manage this.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously we had multiple systems which had to be connected by applications like Zapier etc. Now we are able to manage everything in one platform, which increases productivity.

J'ai utilisé Notion dans mon entreprise actuelle, et c'est l'outil de base de données le plus intuitif que j'aie jamais vu. Notion aide notre équipe à organiser le travail et les projets et est également excellent pour le brainstorming de nouvelles idées. Il y a tellement d'utilisations différentes, je n'en ai exploré qu'une petite partie.

La quantité de pages créées peut être une chose délicate si les équipes ne savent pas exactement comment les suivre et les organiser. Au moins, Notion crée de nouvelles façons d'organiser les groupes et les pages. Une chose que je n'aime pas est le fait que certains changements sont en quelque sorte "imposés" comme la nouvelle vue par défaut en écran partagé.

Notion m'aide à réfléchir et à suivre de nouvelles idées. Il aide également mon équipe à garder notre base de données organisée et facile à trouver.

Helps in documentation just like Google docs, can build task list and check task status, can make a reading list and journals

Can't resize uploaded images, sometimes documents are not updated in realtime

Documenting important notes and help in project management
Useful tool for keeping track of all things at work
What do you like best about the product?
Collaboration is simple and effective. Keeping track of things across different pages is possible. Ie. You can keep a data table and show different views at different pages.
What do you dislike about the product?
Files sometimes become unavilable! One time some of my files randomly disappeared. But the notion customer support team was helpful and got my files back in less than a week.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is helping my team and myself share all sorts of resources across teams. The free form of notion is helpful because you can create new asset types - which help us customize asset types for very specific use cases.

Notion is a beautiful, powerful replacement for a typical wiki
What do you like best about the product?
Notion has an attractive and snappy UI. I appreciate the power of being able to define databases (tabular data that can be filtered, have related data, etc) defined right within the UI.
What do you dislike about the product?
With all of the power that Notion provides, there are inevitable complexities. Notion is the first wiki-style tool I've used where I felt that training was warranted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion replaces our self-hosted wiki, which means less effort spent by us as an org on managing a wiki, but also the UI is so much better than the wiki we had that more than just engineers can pitch in on documentation. Allowing non-engineers to be included is a huge lift.
Databases are the highlight, but finicky
What do you like best about the product?
The databases are great. It really is the leg up that Notion has, as well as the ability to create and utilize template pages.
What do you dislike about the product?
The databases are so finicky. Databases also don't always make sense to utilize, but the tables are so wildly basic that you are forced to use the databases when they may not be necessary. I also think that Notion feels extremely overwhelming to people because of "+" options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is wonderful for Product Requirement Documents. It solves my needs for internal Product, Design, and Engineering collaboration and documentation, but definitely feels too complex for non-technical teams (x-functional stakeholders) to utilize.

What do you like best about the product?
Notion is easy to get started and is seriously well documented, so for the most part you can usually find what you need to know on Youtube or other tutorials. It's easier to link databases together than you would think and there are some good templates out there.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not so much the functionality, but to get the best out of Notion you really do need to understand the basics of databases. I'm not really a database expert so I often have to look things up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a small business owner and consultant I find most of the 'off the peg' systems are too feature rich and complicated for my requirements. I'm using Notion to fulfill a lot of the functions that I'd spread over multiple tools like timesheets, CRM and project management all within one environment.
