Notion for life
What do you like best about the product?
I am a big fan of Notion. I started using Notion about two years ago in my previous job as the operations manager. I quickly realised the incredible capabilities of this tool and became the go-to person for implementing it with other teams and individuals. Even after leaving that job, Notion has remained an essential part of my personal life. I use it for planning holidays, creating lists, and even planning for my unborn child. Notion is truly a tool for life.
What do you dislike about the product?
One minor issue: there is no option for English (UK), so I have to re-edit the summaries and improvements produced by the AI writing tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am currently in the process of job applications, and I use Notion and the AI writing assistant to help me customise my applications to meet the criteria.
Really like how it speeds up my work
What do you like best about the product?

What do you dislike about the product?
I find it hard to keep up on what I am able to do within Notion.

Fantastic new AI features
What do you like best about the product?
The new AI features are seriously impressive, much better than other AI-specific tools. Having such advanced functionality built right into the app itself makes it super easy and convenient to use. This awesome addition takes the user experience to a whole new level!
What do you dislike about the product?
No specific downsides, which says a lot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a great place to keep knowledge and shared information. The new AI feature has also started to help with writing and planning.
Work Management Assistant
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the way we can organize and keep track of the current activities, professional and personal, in just one place where we can control what to push to the primary focus and what to put to a "later" or "archive" space area. All very intuitive and versatile.
With the introduction of AI, it made it even more efficient to have notion as the primary space where I know I can count on viewing what I have to do on a daily basis, with the possibility to turn a vague brainstorm text into something coherent with just 1 click (improve writing), or to prepare any big text I'm sending to anyone with the "Fix spelling & grammar", which makes me very confident on sending anything to anyone.
Sometimes I use the AI feature to brainstorm ideas or scenarios, to give me copy, or to split an activity into parts, as I ask the AI to, for example, be "a UX director" which then provides more detailed and in-depth points for me to take into account.
Really love Notion and I intend to keep using it for a long time.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I wished that the AI would remember some of the work we did or ask for help, or even to act based on the previous prompt I made or the previous answer that was provided. I see myself sometimes using other AI platforms to have bigger brainstorming sessions, or much more detailed asks simply because I cannot develop an idea with AI on notion, there is no "history tracking" nor opportunity to "conversate" in order to reach the best solution. It would be cool to have it on a "chat format" that keeps track of the conversation, and on the requests and adjustments made throughout the whole process. If the AI on notion had these features I would definitely recommend the product 200% to everyone who works or studies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is helping me be more effective in my day-to-day work activities since it helps me stay on track with my tasks, but also supports the work I develop by doing minor and major adjustments.
A powerful AI tool with very few flaws.
What do you like best about the product?
The AI functionality of Notion still remains the best integrated AI tool on the market right now. The AI feels as though it has seamlessly been integrated into your workspace, it understands the context of what you have been working on and thereby you are able to fully utilise it's AI capabilities. It's contextual awareness is truly world class, and helps massively when creating projects and using Notion to help you with that. Previously I had critiqued the price of Notion AI, but that is now more justified as the product has developed much more.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I do not like now is the learning curve. Setting up a workspace in the exact way you like for your specific use case can be quite long and tedious. The new menu bar layout also can be a bit challenging to navigate and I feel at times the UI is a bit cluttered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me manage my workflow more effectively, and also automate redundant parts of my workflow.
Easy to get up to speed
What do you like best about the product?
The AI feature is great - also a big fan of the shared spaces
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to give access ito individual pages is confusing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a single source of truth for all documentation
Best Free Productivity and Note-taking App
What do you like best about the product?
It has so many valuable and essential features for free (such as workshops, note-taking, exporting, schedules, and tables). Notion Ai has been pretty practical and intuitive for me whenever I need to brainstorm ideas on what/how to write something or to improve my notes/documents. As a student, I often use it to organize everything school-related to the schedule and take notes during lectures. I love how it even comes with a student template that allows me to track my schedule and grades. Customer support seems relatively easy to reach. My first time using it, it was hard to understand and learn how to use it. But after getting over the initial stage, it is straightforward and valuable. I like that I can export my notes into various files, and vice versa for importing files into notion. Last of all, the amount of features it offers for free is truly amazing. The price for some of the premium stuff is pretty reasonable. I've been using it for a year and won't stop using it unless otherwise.
What do you dislike about the product?
1) Not being able to change the font sizes on the documents. 2) Not fully able to import pdf and PowerPoint slides into the pages with the notes in them (instead, it's just imported as the file itself). 3) Not useful for Android tablets. You can write on Notion using iOS, but not Android. I'm taking a few math courses where writing and drawing with the S pen would be handy. That's why I have to use my Samsung notes for any actual note-taking involving writing with the S pen. 4) The app on Android is not as user-friendly. For some reason, it isn't very easy for me to scroll through the pages on the app. I have to place my finger in a particular spot for the scrolling to be in effect. 5) The tutorials are somewhat hard to understand and navigate. It took me a while to understand how to use Notion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion AI has been beneficial for me in terms of improving my writing, brainstorming ideas for things to write or how to write them, explaining things when needed, etc. I've been able to keep track of all my course assignments because of its schedule. I love the grade calculator provided in their student template - since it allows me to monitor all my grades. I love how I can share the pages and workshops with others. I've been mainly using it for note-taking, scheduling, grade tracking, and using Notion AI for writing improvement.
A great workspace tool
What do you like best about the product?
The AI is really useful for when I have a question based on my notes or to summarise a page into key dot points. They also recently added the ability for the AI to look through all your documents to find specific answers based on your documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
At time the AI is unavailable. AI isn't consistent at using notion features such as toggles. Also wish the AI could scan embedded PDFs or photos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping me organize my notes exactly how I want to. Efficient program to use with the ''/' commands to instantly be able to adjust formatting or insert objects. The AI is really helpful in clarifying content or answering questions, helps save time instead of scanning through pages and pages of documents.
Notion AI feels seamless
What do you like best about the product?
Databases in notion are amazing. They help you organize your stuff with custom organization and views.
What do you dislike about the product?
Absence of pen tool is a bummer. I would like to use my ipad and pencil.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me organize my online writing quite well.
Unlimited Possibilties
What do you like best about the product?
Related databases work really well, the customizability is amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mobile isn't a great experience, no offline capability, search function needs a lot of work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a tourism business and I keep my entire business in Notion besides the reservations (and I'd like to get all the customers in there eventually and use it as a CRM. But I manage my projects and actions, we keep our tour stories and routes, I have a library where I keep articles and research, and of course a writing area where I write new content.
