A Game-Changer for Modern HR Teams
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion every day in my HR role, and it’s truly transformed how I organize, document, and collaborate. The flexibility of the platform makes it easy to create living documents, workflows, and knowledge bases that my team can actually use—not just reference once and forget.
The real standout recently has been Notion’s AI features. I rely on it for summarizing lengthy policy drafts, rewriting content in a more human tone, and even generating first drafts of job descriptions or onboarding plans. It’s like having an extra teammate who’s always ready to help me think and write faster.

What do you dislike about the product?
Permissions can be a bit tricky, especially when you're trying to share a single page without giving access to the full workspace or when collaborating across teams with different levels of visibility. I’ve also noticed performance can lag a bit in large, complex workspaces or when there are lots of embedded databases on a single page. And while the AI is great for drafting and summarizing, it’s still learning—sometimes the rewrites feel too generic or miss the tone I’m going for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s also helping solve the “blank page” problem with AI. Whether I’m drafting a new policy, writing a performance improvement plan, or rewording a handbook section, Notion AI helps me move from idea to first draft faster. That means I spend more time thinking strategically and less time formatting or copy-pasting between tools.
Makes work-life balance achievable and accessible
What do you like best about the product?
the way it helps me organized my notes, it is very easy to use and to maintained organized. I used to have a piles of notes on my desk now they are accessible anywhere. I like how I can use it for both work and personal life.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning season at the beginning was hard and it could deter a lot of people form using notion. I was able to stick to it but I know if I didn't have the time to learn how it works I wouldn't
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Taking clients notes for work - it allows me to maintained an organized system rather than writing by hands then transcribing them I can do a case note in minutes even if my notes are disorganized the AI assistant organizes it for me. Before I would have to do all of this on my own and would have a pile of notes to go over and type.
Notion is my second brain!
What do you like best about the product?
Notion allows me to organize my thoughts into beautiful SOPs and guidelines to be able to track my day to day work and onboard others easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Notion would detect pages or groups of documents that no longer serve the company. Such as outdated information (compare documents to each other with date stamps) or documents that have had zero visits and suggest deleting. Also, combining documents based on context. I would love a more organized workspace by preventing duplicates and removing stale documents!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing me to document different process or take notes for 1:1s to keep track of tasks that need to be accomplished within a week.
A flexible and powerful tool
What do you like best about the product?
Notion’s all-in-one workspace is incredibly flexible — I use it for everything from note-taking and task management to project planning and documentation. With Notion AI, I can now generate summaries, brainstorm ideas, and edit content without leaving the page. It integrates seamlessly into my writing process and helps me move faster without sacrificing quality.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the AI suggestions can be a bit generic or overly wordy, especially for more nuanced tasks. While the interface is intuitive, the learning curve for setting up complex databases or relations can be steep for new users. Occasionally, performance slows down with large workspaces or heavy pages.

Notion helps centralize all our design documentation in one place, making it easy to organize specs, feedback, research, and iterations. Instead of juggling between multiple tools or scattered files, our team can collaborate in real time, maintain version history, and link related content like Figma files or product requirements. It saves us time, reduces miscommunication, and keeps everyone aligned throughout the design process.
Using Notion AI as an AI Writing Assistant for Pentesting Reports.
What do you like best about the product?
Writing reports, especially for penetration testers is tedious. A lot of the report content can be templated, but each report will vary from engagement to engagement. I use Notion primarily for adding, revising, and fleshing out large chunks of my reports that are cumbersome to write. In my templates, I have AI prompt blocks that read out what I have read in my report already to generate conclusions. Using these has improved my workflow dramatically.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the downsides I have found of using Notion AI is that it doesn't pick up on the fact that my paper is written in 3rd person passive voice unless I explicitly tell it to use it during writing. I would like it if it were to analyze the writing style that I use throughout the page and continue to emulate that same style. Also, I do have to reword large portions of AI written segments because it tends to use language that "sounds like AI" and not how my writing sounds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion primarily for writing reports for penetration testing as well as a tracking calendar for future events. During an engagement, we will use different pages to keep track of the findings we encounter and the steps that we took to get there so as to reference later. Then we use custom templates with AI prompt blocks to add more detail and speed up the reporting process. Also, we use Notion as a knowledge base to share the different techniques and processes of different tools in SOPs (standard operating procedure documents) to make sure our knowledge can be found later for future use.
Notion review
What do you like best about the product?
I like the variety of tools available in Notion and the UI. I've particularly enjoyed being able to write formulas in latex for school, and inputting code snippets for documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything I dislike about Notion. Maybe I didn't enjoy the experience as much on the mobile app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I enjoy having a central knowledge base to easily access entreprise wide information. Also the AI writing assistant has been helpful when I need to write something laborious.
Notion continues to grow, but is still a core product
What do you like best about the product?
The whole idea behind Notion is the relational databases. Once you can tap into that, it's a real superpower towards building a second brain. But even if you just need to jot down some notes, it's great, too.
If you use OneNote, or EverNote, or things like that, this completely replaces it much more successfully.
Now, with the introduction of AI, it can actually help you along with that journey.
I manage my personal side-business with it, as well as my personal life, and I use Notion daily for the past 3 years. It has become an integral part of my life.
I find that I am more productive when I use it, and less productive when not.

What do you dislike about the product?
As Notion continues to expand, there is concern from a core network of users that they might be adding new features at the peril of old features. Recently, they've added Calendar and Email apps. As well as the huge AI features.
I think Notion is still Notion, but should be something to watch for in the future.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A complete tracking database for all of my "stuff." It also allows relational linking and ease of use to access that stuff. I am still learning how to integrate AI fully, but have used it to help with language and messaging from time to time.
Comprehensive platform to store your docs and pages
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is not only great to create official documentations but also great to create your own team pages and store data. There are many integration available, you can literally do almost anything you imagine. Also recent AI Writing Assistant making it very easy to write docs or create tables and etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Search could be tricky because notion treats everything as page and sometime you just face the empty docs when you searching, because people obviously using the object non-page-purposes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves may problem by providing all in one solution from note taking to official documentation.
Basically, this provides solution where your employees can collaborate together with many different integration.

Notion is an excellent workplace tool
What do you like best about the product?
The recent addition of Notion AI has totally changed the way we go about our business. We use it every day, and it's so easy. It integrates with all of our other systems (Slack, Google Drive, Meeting Notes etc) and as a result we know that the source info is coming from somewhere legit.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the formatting when creating text documents can be finickiy and it's just not quite the same as Google Docs/MS Word etc. This leads me to still use those platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No longer required to manually take notes. Also it is a hub for info when I'm not sure how to answer or do something.
Very productive do-it-all application
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is incredibly malleable. It can be used as a notes app as well as a CRM with so many potential add-ins and templates the opportunities are endless
What do you dislike about the product?
Because it is so malleable it is not necessarily the best at any certain thing. For example I wouldnt say it is the best app for taking notes or using a CRM, but that is not necessarily a bad thing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Utilizing it for project management and note-taking in a very malleable way
