Super Flexible note taking
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to nest notes as pages and the flexibility to treat everything as a block. The Kanban borad function is super helpful as well, I use it all the time to track my todo list
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a steep learning curve. I find my teamates who aren't familiar with it have a harder time using it. It would be nice if there was some sort of tutorial
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At home, it helps me keep track of things in my homelab, keeps commands I need to remeber in order and allows me to visualize things much better. At work, I can keep track of projects as we are doing them so we can see what needs to be done yet and it does a great job keeping my to-do list in order and lets me hop into an individual page for each item if I want to go into more detail on a task.
Great app to organize your day-to-day
What do you like best about the product?
Your ease and freedom to create what you think, a great app to manage your life, your business, and of course, recommend it to your friends to use wisely.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like using Notion in a group because it has many limitations, which makes teamwork and creativity as a whole difficult. I would like this to be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing my life, studies, and even my finances, it is my second main calendar, I use it for almost everything, it is very comprehensive for doing whatever is necessary...
Notion is really fun, easy and a complex tool to use and I love it
What do you like best about the product?
Using Notion, is for me, as fun as using WordPress to build a site. There are so many simple areas to use and some little pickles to figure out too. I love that there is awesome support available and a ton of videos on the tube. Building with Notion is a bit like a playground and I really love it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be awesome if one day, more solid and supported integrations were available, but even still, I love this platform! There are some integrations that I'd really like to use. I can use them and link them to Notion. It's just that, if I need support for them, I can't get help from Notion and I have to go directly to the source. I know that Notion is awesome and super helpful, but I can't say that for other connecting platforms out there. Having all integrations, under one roof and managed & supported by Notion would be awesome. Having said that, I really love Notion and learning about how to make it work just the way I want it to. It really is lots of fun!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Notion is great for me because it means that I am able to create client portals for all of my individual clients to use. So that all important videos and documents and revisions can be safely stored in one place. Having this stuff stored in other ways can be messy and can be hard to find things at times. But using Notion really helps to keep everything super crisp and uber organised.
The only tool I swear by!
What do you like best about the product?
The databases are probably the coolest thing about Notion - it's easy to link it with other team members, track progress week on week, and a super time-effective way of managing projects and a team. I've used other tools like Asana before but nothing has compared to Notion.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be difficult to edit a database and often it deletes / wipes out blocks for others when one person edits. It can also be slightly limiting when trying to creative databases and scale them to different timelines or across months (eg: recurring time sheets linked to task sheets automatically changing every month).

Managing a team is seamless with Notion and has reduced our overall meeting time by 50%. It helps us complete tasks more efficiently and save time in the process.
Easy and flexible all-in-one tool for personal and business life
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to use, and extremely flexible to create use cases that pan from personal life management to business and team cooperation. It's then all delivered with what a modern software should offer: simple and intuitive UX, pleasing and not distressing UI, and large connectivity with other tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not really a dislike, but rather something that I feel it is missing. I believe at the moment visualization tools are very limited on Notion, and that's probably the biggest lack of features. It's true that they could potentially be integrated with third-party tools, but that makes the whole process a bit too tedious and also expensive. Basic visualization out of the box would be great to have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me to organize projects in my life, but I also use it for team collaboration in my startup. This way I can use my learning of the tool for 2 quite different application and benefit from it. Regarding the use in a startup it's really important the flexibility, as the company evolves quite fast and need a toll that can evolve with it.
Notion is a powerful app but it can also be overwhelming
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Notion has a simple and clean interface and just the right amount of formatting, integrations, and structure to be an extremely powerful but flexible platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
You have to create your own experience in Notion, which means someone basically has to architect your systems. They've gotten very good at creating standard options to choose from. Either use those or delegate one person on your team to be the architect of a certain page or set of pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps us keep everything in one place - resources, projects, documentation, etc can all be stored in one place that's pretty discoverable and easy to find. There's also quite a bit of utility to solve specific problems like assigning tasks or tracking metrics.
Notion FTW
What do you like best about the product?
It's simple to jump right in but can be complex when needed. Everything feels natural. I also love the app integrations. We tried to use other services for project management but never used them for long because they were too strict. Notion is also good at handling multiple kinds of problems. Earlier, we had to use various services for different purposes, and now we can do everything in a single service.
What do you dislike about the product?
- All pages must have titles.
- When using tables, I cannot add a footer with different columns. Sometimes it's hard to make complex calculations and reports because I have to rewire my brain to stop thinking about tables like excel files and start thinking in Notion's way. I'm a relatively fresh user, so I hope this will change over time.

First, we started with single-project management. Write PRD-s, handle ongoing tasks and gather helpful information about the related projects in one place. Since then, we have started using it for finance, CRM, vacation management and anything company related.
It is also good for taking notes :)

Notion and its use of databases are superb for organizing and sharing information
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to start using. It is a superb solution for organizing work information for personal productivity and sharing it with teams. It connects to third-party apps such as Google Docs. You can organize and embed individual files in Google Docs, making it easy to share and locate files to support your workflow. It is very versatile and can be used for document management, task management, project management, and product management, to name a few applications. There are lots of documentation, tutorials and templates to get you started. Notion is a database management platform. When you create a database in Notion (no coding required), there are numerous ways to organize and view the data: relational data, view calendars, Gantt charts and a kanban board. You can include most types of files and code in Notion.
Notion is constantly updating the product. If there is a missing feature, wait, it may get added soon.

What do you dislike about the product?
Notion is deceptively powerful. This "dislike" is not a criticism. You can use Notion quickly; however, there is a steep learning curve to use its best features, such as databases, effectively. Notion has lots of helpful documentation and video to help you learn. There is a lot of control over the look and feel, but I would like more. You have three fonts to choose from, but it would be great to have more. These are nits. There isn't anything I seriously dislike about Notion. But I know what I'm using it for. If you want to organize personal notes, there may be better options. If you are in a shared/team workspace, Notion is in a class by itself to create wikis, databases, tasks, and notes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing information with a team. Sharing information securely. We can include information created using Notion and add documents from other sources, including Google Workspace files, images, web links, videos, web pages, notes, meeting notes, contracts, document forms and more. The developers can create their workspaces, add code and connect to Jira and GitHub. We can also connect pages to Slack
We no longer use separate apps for project management, product management or notes.
Other benefits are fewer meetings, everyone is updated, communication is better, and we are completing projects more efficiently.

One of the best documentation tools out there
What do you like best about the product?
The way they structure the documents is amazing. Also, the databases are one of the most helpful things within Notion.
What do you dislike about the product?
The performance of the tool has improved a lot over the last few years but it still isn't perfect. It would be awesome if the app performance could be improved soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to document game design documents. Previously, I had to deal with a lot of distinct documents in many google drive folders, and now I can make sure they're all organized.
Notion is a fabulous tool. It's highly personalised, scalable and helps create transparency
What do you like best about the product?
It's highly personalisable. It's like IKEA for productivity. A 'do it yourself (DIY) productivity tool. It gives me a sense of satisfaction working on Notion cause I can tailor to my way of working.
What do you dislike about the product?
The number of features being added is getting too much, and this might hinder increase complexity. Also, focus on improving the amount of integration would be better primarily slack and other startup digital tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is solving the problem of giving the user the power to solve their workspace problem proactively by letting them 100% control over UX design. No two users have the same Notion.
