Generally Amazing, with improvements to be made
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that I can organise my thoughts and ideas in an organized and intuitive way. For work, it has been immensely helpful since I am generally messy. Also, for planning things and making graphs, the different integrations with a lot of apps makes it simple to create a centralised ecosystem, which I highly appreciate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lags, definitely. The response time is often longer than I would like it. Also, the fact that time (days, hours, minutes, seconds) hasn't yet been added as database value: it would help tremendously to create a time budget. Also the fact Google Agenda hasn't yet been integrated into Notion, and I'm not the first one to say this. Unless, of course, the Notion team makes the built-in Notion calendar on par with Google Agenda.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mind mapping, ideas think-tank, synchronizing work within a team. It's a ridiculously powerful app also for budgeting matters, as well as building frameworks, among other things.
Overall a great product, with exceptional flexibility. It's easy though to get yourself in trouble.
What do you like best about the product?
As a platform, Notion has a relatively easy new user experience and is extremely extensible, with many options for customization and opportunities to record, relate and display data.
What do you dislike about the product?
As the API was only rolled out in May 2021 there is a limited number of good, useful integrations that are available. The other major pain point for us is the lack of user roles, there are only two "Workspace Owner", and "Member." And while there are options available at the teamspace/page level for "guests" it would be extremely helpful to have more options available for those internal to the workspace.
(A more minor current annoyance is that the platform doesn't always allow a user to select a template after the content of an existing page is cleared.)

Notion is currently serving as our "one-stop shop" for almost all information in the business. It's our CRM, project management, team knowledgebase, SOP repository, and day-to-day task manager. Previous to utilizing Notion, we had many different systems that we were attempting to keep synchronized with all of this information and that was challenging. Now it's much easier to find needed information, stay on track, and provide better, more consistent support to our clients.
When it comes down to it, the question is what isn't Notion touching? :) Of course, the biggest challenge with it all being in one place is building/adapting the platform as we shift and grow. But even with that, short of custom-coding our own solution, Notion has been one of the best investments we've made for internal software.

I love using Notion as our main project management and knowledge hub with my team
What do you like best about the product?
I like how you can connect everything together and link tasks with different teams in each dashboard. This makes it easy for each department to have its own space but management can have a bird-eye view of everything in their own space.
What do you dislike about the product?
I love all the new updates come out but as the tool gets more complicated it gets harder to onboard new people and get them to the same level of usage/knowledge as the rest of the team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Notion, we were using the G-suite Sheets heavily but there was no way to set reminders and filter the data easily. Notion streamlines this process and lets us connect each database to eachother.
Close to perfect intranet solution
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is a tool that is easy to use to everyone. From experienced tech geeks to "normal" people who just want they software to work. Great and flexible tool to build almost everything you need. From knowledge base to task tracker. You can manage your product hypotheses, development tasks, customer relations log and many-many more.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion is a great tool to access static information, but it still very hard to follow updates and discuss pieces of data inside Notion. We still use Basecamp for check-ins and Slack for discussing our work. We know that greatness is achieved step by step, but many people in our team hope that updates feed and better comments are next growth points for Notion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Notion for almost everything. Business unit documentation, team updates, task management, employee database.
Notion are so much better than other tools we tried (including Atlassian Confluence). Not perfect. We still have to use other collaboration tools together with Notion. But it is definitely the central hub for our activities.

I believe Notion is a very effective project management tool for my small business
What do you like best about the product?
I like its look and feel. I love the use of unlimited databases and the ability to link them. I like the use of color and the ability to make pages look attractive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Definitely that it lacks a proper recurring task feature. The recurring template feature - a recent addition - falls very short of what I would expect from the most basic program. This is the only reason I can't give Notion a 10.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I run a client-based business - each client represents a project and each project has multiple tasks - but not necessarily the same tasks - that need to be performed in order. I find Notion databases to be an excellent method of keeping track of each stage, as well as being flexible enough to handle curveballs. I also love that I can connect project and actions databases as well as clients and client files - I use the status property religiously to track what I have to do tomorrow, this week, this month etc. I also have a separate area where I keep track of all my finances, taxes etc. and another where I keep track of workflows and can capture notes on anything new that crosses my path but I don't have time to process at the moment.
Notion is an incredibly versatile and customizable productivity tool

I love the flexibility to create and structure pages to fit my specific needs, whether it's tracking project tasks, managing personal goals, or taking notes for a meeting. The integration of databases and tables also makes it easy to keep track of information and collaborate with others in real-time. Notion's interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, and the ability to add comments, tags, and reminders is a helpful feature that keeps me on top of my to-do list. Overall, I highly recommend Notion for anyone looking to streamline their workflow and improve their organization."
What do you dislike about the product?
performance issues with large and complex pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is solving several problems for me and businesses, including:
Centralizing information: Notion allows users to bring together all of their notes, tasks, and documents in one place, making it easy to find and access important information quickly.
Streamlining collaboration: Notion's real-time collaboration features enable teams to work together on the same page, share ideas, and track progress, reducing the need for back-and-forth communication and simplifying project management.

Flexible hub
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy and fluid to use. I love how modular it feels with its keystrokes and simple integration. I've had success using Notion as a "Source of Truth" with companies
What do you dislike about the product?
It's tough for the closed-minded to adopt. We found more junior employees would refuse to work with notion, whereas senior members of the team would be more willing to pick Notion up and uncover its value. Email onboarding was helpful for some, but I think more in-product help would be beneficial
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a single source of truth (a "knowledge base") was the key reason to stand up a notion instance. Our company has a very easily accessible database of info across all teams that's now shared
A very easy to use and practical tool to better organize my ideas and carry them out

What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that notion has many tools and this can saturate the novice user. In my personal experience, every time I recommend it, they tell me about this inconvenience despite being very versatile to use. I would like there to be a section of tutorials in all languages for any user, as well as on youtube they place translated audio, I think it is a good alternative.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me a lot to organize my ideas in classes, from taking notes that I do, to sharing them and working as a team, for example for an activity that I did for a video game event, I was able to place them with icons, check list and everything in a simple way the roles of each participant in this activity, I was also able to share it and this allowed a clearer idea of what had to be done and everything went as planned from Notion.
Notion: A Comprehensive Note-Taking Solution for Organized Minds
What do you like best about the product?
Its flexibility and versatility. It allows you to create various types of content, from simple notes to complex databases, wikis, and project management boards. The app's customizability is unmatched, and you can adapt it to your unique needs and preferences. I also appreciate its collaboration features, which allow you to work on projects with teams in real-time. Notion also has an intuitive and user-friendly interface, making it easy to use and navigate once learned.
What do you dislike about the product?
The app can be overwhelming and confusing for first-time users, especially when trying to understand how to navigate the empty interface. Additionally, the app's pricing model can be a bit steep for individuals or small teams, and some features are only available in the more expensive subscription plans, especially in emerging markets like north Africa. Finally, Notion's mobile app is not as robust as the web version, which may be frustrating for users who need to access their notes on the go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion benefits me by solving common problems related to organization and task management. As an all-in-one note-taking solution, Notion allows me to store all my notes, ideas, and tasks in one central location, which saves me time and reduces the need to switch between different apps or platforms. Notion's customizability also allows me to adapt it to my specific needs, making it a tailored and more effective tool. The collaboration features in Notion make it easier to work with teams, resulting in more aligned and efficient project management. By streamlining my workflow and providing transparency, Notion helps me stay on top of my work, meet project goals and deadlines, and ultimately be more productive.
Great tool for all our business needs
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to use and there's so much that can be done with the tool. I use Notion for 1:1's, projects, wiki for departments, and internal requests from other departments.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit overwhelming if you've never used it before. We also have a lot of Notion pages so sometimes thing can get lost. Integrations aren't super great with Notion but that's typical with most products.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion keeps us organized and accountable. We've built a request queue for other departments and this has helped tremendously because we can all have visibility into the requests coming in and if one person doesn't know then another person can jump in and help.
