AI creates content which is so helpful. If only it could do that with large-ish PDFs
What do you like best about the product?
As a student, AI allows me to create summaries of content and also multiple choice questions- this is a huge deal since revision requires testing, which requires content generation. AI can generate smart/correct content to help me learn medicine
What do you dislike about the product?
BUT. The content has to be in Notion format. It can't be PDF, which is how my notes come. So I you have to spend your time importing that pdf into notion markdown text, which takes time.
Don't make a teamspace to share the work for this conversion task- it charges YOU to add members to a teamspace (I'm up for USD$60 with no warning).
A huge issue are ChatGPT inherent limitations- using AI to clean up formatting of imported text just doesn't work if your notes are long. It randomly stops and then you spend time figuring out where it stopped.
In conclusion- if Notion allowed AI to access PDF (or easily imported PDF), then allowed large chunks of text to be formatted, I'd pay all my money to use it.
(As it stands, it has cost me nearly $100 to not do that, so I'm on the fence)

What do you like best about the product?
With the ease of use and a low learning curve, the availability and ingenuity of tools for the app are exactly what a user such as myself needs. It is incredible considering how young this company is. It really knows how to cater to people's creativity and industriousness to help a person organise their thoughts and lives in a fun and intelligible way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish I could be able to plug ins with some microsoft 365 apps

It is helping me become increadibly organised in a way that suits my working style, it's something that I use on a daily basis. My life is far simpler whilst using notion

What do you like best about the product?
I like the pages and subpages, the quick actions, the icons for the pages. I really like the integrated AI.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a large learning curve in using Notion for the first time with the quick actions, even if in the long run they do help. I don't like that you can't set your own colours, only use the basic ones that notion has included. It's very annoying that the billing is in $ and there appears to be no way to change this, as someone who lives in the UK.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I really like the AI - I don't think it's as good as ChatGPT though and that service is free. I've had some error codes with it where I haven't been able to use it for a significant time. I'm writing a book, and it really helps with brainstorming ideas or namees. It can be a bit slow at times, and a bit literal. I've had some problems where if I ask it to do the same thing on the same page but for different selected text, it includes the pervious answers it gave too (even when I specify not to). It's also very expensive for what it is, and I don't like that it's charged separately from plans. $10 a month for just AI is a lot, plus plan fees on top. And I also don't like that with how expensive it is, it appears to be workspace-specific. What if I want a personal workspace, a workspace for a project, etc, and I'd like to use AI on all of them?

What do you like best about the product?
Nice and easy to get to grips with the way of writing on Notion. The AI is fantastic but could be better now with GPT-4 being released.
What do you dislike about the product?
Selecting text on mobile is a pain, quite annoying to copy and paste from the notion app elsewhere as it only allows you to select each text block individually.

It's helping me to quickly learn some new things by condensing the information nicely. It also helps to turn my ideas into text.

What do you like best about the product?
Notion is a platform that allows the user to create the perfect productivity system for them. The customisation and flexibility really separate notion from other note taking apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion can occasionally feel clunky to use, for example i recently tried to implement a to do list using the database function. while the to do list worked, i had to wait forthe page to load, then the database, then i had to add a new entry. i stopped trying to use notion for this and switched to todoist.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion's AI assistant is helping me be significantly more productive in my place if work thanks to its ability to read a large email on a page and summarise the goals that the sender would like me to achieve.

Notion AI is the best aspect. Sorting definitions, creating flashcards and summarising content saves me at least an hour every week.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dislike the lack of fonts, text size alterations and lack of word processing features. Would kill office if these features were included within Notion.

What do you like best about the product?
Extremely easy to use. Can start with very basic features, just writing notes and gradually learn the system through use. The advanced features linked to keyboard shortcuts are great. Toggles and databases are my two most used advanced features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The databases are great, but a little clunky compared to using google sheets or excel for more data driven applications. It is so easy in excel/sheets to write formulae, whereas in notion it requires a lot more effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use notion in various ways. As a personal wiki, collating key information. As a research tool, extremely easy to store information in various formats (PDF etc). The recently introduced AI feature is unbelievable.

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using it for several years, and am currently using it to make notes for my college courses. It is very versatile and works for all my courses -- for Mathematics, the option for LaTeX equations is invaluable to me. Same for Physics, which I use the inline equation option all the time. I also like how easy it is to format tables and dictionaries, and the option to add as an emoji as a page icon is nice too. Additionally, I have used the Gantt chart to plan out projects, which worked well and is nice and intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside I can think of is that the desktop app for Windows seems to launch and run a bit slower than other apps, and seems to use more resources than it should.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using the AI writer regularly, most commonly to summarise my notes. I particularly like how aware it is about page titles and content, and adds extra context beyond what I have noted down. The AI is also very good at rewriting explanations I have written to make them clearer. I have also used it for writing fun poems, which it is quite good at.

What do you like best about the product?
The AI is good at writing, drafting, summarising, changing the tone, and what not. Very convenient because all of my documention and writing is done in nation and I don't have to change my tab to go to ChatGPT for example.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's kind of the same as any other AI tool and in some parts lacking. ChatGPT is smarter, more creative and understands to a greater depth. I also feel that the AI doesn't use the Notion Blocks to its fullest potential and I also wish it can use more information in other pages and whatnot to have more context to my AI prompts. If Notion AI was able to have all the info and understand my enitre setup I feel that it wuld be able to give me much better answers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the need for me to use another AI software such as ChatGPT and it's very convenient. I can draft faster, write better documentation, brainstorm ideas, and develop those ideas faster using this AI tool.
