Outstanding tool for documentation, journaling, and content creation
What do you like best about the product?
I am a marketing agency owner that does work on our client accounts, as well as run/manage our entire business. For our client accounts, notion has been a great tool for me to keep track of meeting notes, action items, etc for each account. For running and managing our business, I use notion often to help brainstorm strategy documents, product launch plans, etc. It's a great tool that I use both internally and externally.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little difficult to get used to setting up the templates and cutomizing them to meet your needs. There are tons of functions in Notion that I probably don't know about and I need to sit down and spend some time planning out a better strategy to use Notion and its tempaltes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me a TON with content creation. I tell folks that Notion AI actually helps me get over "writers block" and all the procrastination that I do when I'm trying to create a piece of content from scratch.

Formatting sometimes looks strange when inserting images or links.

Lack of templates, the AI ability is still a bit premature to charge.

It cuts down the time for me to go on the internet and research and find the right answer.

Tasks and pages are integrated. Search function. automatic features like timeline views are great

The projects timeline view is great but doesnt segment into subtaks well. I want to sew subtasks in the colour of the main project

A very handy notepad on steroids. Helps to work better with information

It was hard to switch from Apple notes to Notion, because sometimes the lack of functions is also an advantage.

Easy to use wiki with additional PPM features.
What do you like best about the product?
It's a very easy to use wiki - don't have to be familiar with previous wiki work to edit or get working. The delighters are definitely the features like adding tasks directly into pages, either as tick boxes or even more standard tickets on a whiteboard (Agile Practitioners) and then be able to present it as a list, a board or even a timeline. Quick are easy. your wiki is now your PPM planner also!
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, nothing. Easier than basic wikis in terms of editing, creating new content, brining in links, etc. Feels like it's been designed from the ground up to make it as easy as possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are expanding into AI writing. I've used it to kick off new content pages by asking it to write on topics, then going back over to amend based on what I was after. Helps productivity to get stuff up that quickly.
Notion is a real game changer for notes.
What do you like best about the product?
What I love about Notion is the flexibility, I can easy switch between my phone and mac when it comes to writing notes. This means that I never miss anything important. I now have my reading list on there too. I am loving the Notion AI too, sometimes a blank page can be intimidating so it can give you a head start!

I don't have too many bad words to say about notion other than not my whole company uses it.

Notion is really helping me to build out my knowledge base. I am in my first leadership position now and this is serving as a great tool for me to build out our product processses. Also its a great place to have my reading list.

I used to be all over the place, Some documents I wanted tables inside it some I just wanted text, So to use Google sheets or docs seprately was hectic. Hence notion helped
