Versatile, Easy Setup, But Needs Offline Access
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Notion gives me action items at the end of meetings. It's also very easy to set up; once I learned what the blocks were, it was simple and straightforward to set up. Notion helps me keep everything in order, add metadata to my notes, and summarize long meetings. Even though I flip flop between Notion, Obsidian, and a couple of other tools, Notion is where I keep coming back to.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love if I could access my notes offline. I think I need an Internet connection to get to my notes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me keep everything in order, add metadata to my notes, and summarize long meetings. I like that it gives me action items at the end of meetings.

Additionally, I appreciate the ability to query anything within my repository of information, which ensures quick and effective access to data when I need it. My experience as an end user was seamless, which speaks volumes about its intuitive design and implementation.

Sometimes I feel like it is a little hard to get it to do what I want with respect to editing and positioning different elements on a page.

Setting it up was very easy, which was a pleasant surprise, and overall, it integrates seamlessly into my workflow. What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Notion's flexibility and customization capabilities—features like databases, templates, and drag-and-drop blocks make it incredibly intuitive and adaptable to all my work needs. The organized structure it offers for managing tasks, study notes, deadlines, and resources is invaluable, allowing me to create various filtered views such as daily tasks and subject-wise notes easily. Notion's design keeps my workspace visually neat and clean, which enhances my focus and productivity. Moreover, its suitability for planning study schedules, revision cycles, or project timelines is an added advantage. Notion also integrates well with other tools like Google Drive, enabling seamless access to large files and PDFs directly within Notion pages, further streamlining my workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only drawbacks for me are that it can feel a little heavy on slower devices or weak internet. The learning curve is slightly steep at the beginning; it takes a little time to understand databases and advanced layouts.

Initially, Notion felt overwhelming and tough to use; it had a huge learning curve. I have recommended it to so many people, but I noticed they are experiencing the same thing I experienced and have struggled to use it.

Notion has solved my organizational struggles by creating a space for everything in my life; school, personal, work, and more!
Notion - The Convenient and Powerful Note Taking AI Assistant
What do you like best about the product?
The databases are the most powerful thing about Notion other than Notion AI. Database tables can be used as normal tables, but you can also drill down into each line item with its own page which is a unique and amazing feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigation bar on the left side is a bit confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem it solves is by implementing its Notion AI agent which bridges LLMs to your note taking software. It solves the problem/inconvenience of having to copy and paste everything from a separate LLM application.

The initial setup of Notion was easy, which made adapting to the platform seamless, and I find it very promising, as evidenced by my willingness to recommend it highly to others.

I'm new with Notion, so I have to take the time to organize it and get it fully set up. I find it challenging to search for words in documents.

The application runs slowly and uses a significant amount of CPU, which causes my computer to lag. Because of this, I prefer to use the web-based version instead.

It makes the organizational process straightforward and efficient, which enhances my productivity significantly. I also find the initial setup of Notion to be exceptionally easy, which means I could start using it right away. Overall, Notion's user-friendly interface and AI capabilities remove the complexities from organizing my work and marketing content, crafting an efficient workflow that I highly value.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Notion AI doesn't fully understand what I want, and there isn't an easy way to iterate or refine requests. It's excellent at one-shot prompting, but when something requires refinement, it becomes challenging.

I use Notion to keep my work organized, manage my marketing content calendar and perform copy editing, making the organization super straightforward and allowing me to focus on impactful tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Notion to be incredibly helpful for project management and customer record maintenance at my company, printIQ. It fills in the gaps left by other tools like Zoho Projects, providing a better user experience, especially with customer-facing access. I particularly enjoy the meeting notes transcription feature, which is amazing, and the new AI search capabilities that make finding information across various sources seamless. The database/table view structure is another standout feature, allowing me to customize columns for specific information or tags, enhancing the organizational aspect. I also appreciate the collaboration functionalities that enable notebook sharing with multiple users, fostering teamwork and efficient communication. Setting up Notion was very simple and easy for my team, making the transition smooth, and I am highly likely to recommend it to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the desktop app to be quite heavy on performance, which can impact its efficiency and responsiveness. Streamlining it to improve memory usage would be beneficial. Additionally, there's a need for more integrations with other platforms, particularly with Office365 and Microsoft Outlook for better email management. Also, I have a desire to connect an external AI agent through MCP, but currently, the only option available is Claude, which I am not interested in using.

I find Notion fills gaps in our project management tool, improving information tracking and enhancing customer interaction. Its AI features and collaboration capabilities further streamline our workflow, making information management seamless and productive.
