The Good And The Bad
What do you like best about the product?
Notion has quickly become my go-to productivity and organization software. As a lawyer with ADHD, organization has proven to be one of the more difficult aspects of my practice. Notion databases and cross-referencing has allowed me to stay organized and on task. The addition of Notion AI has been great. As a lawyer, I appreciate that Notion AI does not learn from my inputs, keeping my client information safer than that of ChatGPT or other LLM models. Notion AI has been great for giving me ideas when writing letters and arguments for my clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration. If Notion introduced Microsoft 365 and Google introduction, it would be a one stop shop for all my needs. If these integrations happen, I would recommend Notion to all my colleagues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion AI is allowing me to be more efficient in my practice. By using the correct prompts, I am able to prepare more creative and fulsome arguments for my clients - and the ability to re-write / change tone has saved me substantial time in editing my work.

-Does not have good export and backup features
-No way to scope permissions for views and properties

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having everything in one place allows to see serendipitous conenctions and reduces decision fatigue and context switching
Highly productive tool for writing documentation
What do you like best about the product?
I like using Notion's markdown and document organization features. Notion AI does a great job starting my docs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mobile app is slow and cannot zoom into images. When you zoom into an image, the app becomes unresponsive and buggy.

Organization and quickly putting thoughts into words

The website can take a while to load and it logs me out after a short time.

Notion makes it faster and simpler for me to write repetitive product descriptions that would normally take a great deal of time as I have difficulty writing.

What do you like best about the product?
Love the flexibility, the AI has been helpful for busy work writing, looks nice, integrated with my calendar and Slack for reminders
What do you dislike about the product?
Complicated to get started, wish AI could be used to help make page templates. Wish it was easier to set up project tracking and to use it to collaborate with external collaborators who don't use Notion. I could see it replacing GSuite in Academica but it needs to allow more guest usage and email linkages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've used the AI to summarize/clean up meeting notes, and I use it for note taking. I'd like to use it for project tracking and collaboration more. I think I can but I haven't figured out the tools/functionality. I wish there were more templates that were tutorials on workflow with Notion instead of focussing on aesthetics

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I really like Notion AI and I use it instead of chat gpt. However, one frustrating problem I keep encountering is that while asking Notion questions related to my studies, it always gives me expired links and sources. When I get information from Notion AI, I always need to double check this informarion from a reliable source since AIs are not always reliable. By providing me with expired links I am unable to double check the information and I'm also unable to use these links as references and cite them in my university work, which makes me go back to okd fashion googling to find other sources.
Another problem is the inaccuracy of some details and information, but I'm aware that most AI software have the same problem.

Notion makes our company flow
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is making our company connected. We like being "in the software together". It feels like we are working on something together. We have fun keeping our company and notes tidy. Organise and in so learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is hard to onboard someone new to the software. Especially if someone is a little older. An onboarding for older people would be nice. There is not much out there that takes the time to explain notion from a let's say Microsoft Office perspective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connected our team together in a way that makes product management fun and engaging. It solves what other software couldn't and makes us more productive as a company.
Notion AI is my main productivity management sidekick
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Notion and the Notion.ai service for a few months now and have come to rely on its capabilities to kickstart ideas and keep them organized. I've migrated wholly from Evernote to Notion as the AI capabilities allow me to build robust sections of content for job applications, cover letters, recruiter contacts, business plans, consulting roadmaps, and training programs. Notion has quickly become my constant companion in my workday. It remains open and always in view as I bounce between it and my browser/slack/email/zoom to keep excellent notes from meetings, track and build on ideas, and improve my communications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Thus far the main downside I've noticed is the difficulty in determining how best to prompt the generative AI to produce the desired results. This is likely a user learning curve as it appears mildly different from the Open.ai implementation of ChatGPT. The cover-image dialog for changing the image is also quite slow to load initially based on its population of relatively large images on the main panel. Likewise, the overall capabilities of the tool are both an absolute selling point and downside: Notion has a robust set of functions, but the learning curve for how to best use those capabilities is steep. You can do so much with the tool that it can be paralyzing when you first start out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion brings a single-source solution to my project, program, note-taking, and personal life management needs. It allows me a single place of organization to see, at a glance, a high-level view of my days while allowing me to easily drill into the specifics when needed. I can build dashboards for how I work ad-hoc, or use templates to kickstart ideas. It allows me a framework to really guide my own brain to the best end results in any project I take on.

Notion Ai is been a help to understand my research topics to summarise my works and give inution about what i am working on. It's just best as it understand Notion.

The thing i don't like bout Notion is it gives bullted notes every time and something i want comprehensive notes like a script

It is helping me organising my work, home and research notes and it understands what I want and how I want them to be represented for ease of lookup
