Great knowledge management and process centralization tool!
What do you like best about the product?
It's very user-friendly and intuitive especially for users coming over from another comparable product. I like how easily content can be added, rearranged, moved from page to page, and formatted. Page cover images, emoji icons, and a simplified UI are all perks that can be leveraged to make otherwise boring pages stand out and more engaging for employees.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you're a part of a smaller org that utilizes Notion, there is no implementation process so you have to figure it out as you go. This leads to misuse and mismanagement of the platform and the content within it. There are so many pages that employees have to fumble through and the search function isn't the greatest compared to other similar platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's our (only) central storage of all org-related knowledge, processes, onboarding checklists, etc...if something needs to be permanently housed for long-term use/reference, Notion is where our org puts it. Not the best solution, but an easy one to use at least.
Using Notion has helped me put a structure around thoughts
What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that it is easy to use and I can collaborate with my team without the need for emails or any separate communication. The fact that i caninsert tables etc to give the document a structure is also great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think notion is an acquired taste as it took some time for me to muscle through the initial phase of usage. Maybe the onboarding could have been a bit more friendly.

Notion revamped how we work
What do you like best about the product?
Low barrier to enter and share data with permissioning.
What do you dislike about the product?
Complex formatting is not possible for unique layouts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing data across the organization in a collaborative way that is not cumbersome or creates overhead.
A Collaboration and Productivity Tool that meets all of my needs!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Notion is super customizable. There are tons of free templates for you to utilize to edit and make your own. I use Notion to not only track work tasks and my school work, but I also use it for my personal life. It's just an awesome tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to download the files and still be able to customize them or download them and edit them in something like Google Sheets as not everyone on my team uses the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to keep track of candidates in my pipeline as well as to track candidates I am coordinating interviews for that I am not the recruiter. I also use it to keep track of work, school, and personal tasks to get done. I like to keep personal metrics in there as well such as company hiring metrics and sourcing resources that help me on a daily.
Better than the rest, great for individuals, good for teams, developers love it
What do you like best about the product?
Notion has a great user experience for the individual user. It allows you to take notes in many different styles. The text formatting is intuitive and straightforward. The hotkeys/shortcuts are great for powerusers. Most of all it's built with use by engineers in mind. There are native code blocks and code formatting. I love the idea of "blocks", which limits the first cmd+A select to the block, then if you press it a few more times, it'll select the whole document. It has made my note-taking iteration so much faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still some rough edges. Because of the unique block model, there can be frustrating experiences with it. Selecting multiple blocks with a cursor often seems to not work as expected. Formatting multiple blocks at a time doesn't work well.
Collaboration is the biggest aspect that I dislike and is worse than competing products. There are still many things that can be improved around commenting; navigating comments, dealing with resolved comments, etc.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For individuals, it is a note-taking management system. All the features make note-taking faster and more enjoyable to use. In the broader company, it is a knowledge base. The formatting and UX has made it easier to add, modify, and view documents. Since it's so dynamic, it's also easy to collaborate and iterate on the knowledge base.
Great Wiki-builder, Good Project Manager.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Very mouse-heavy. There are keyboard shortcuts but they're underpowered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Notion is giving me a place to have all of our company info in one spot. That includes project management and documentation. This enables ease of sharing information across multiple teams.
A Notion review from a game developer that uses it daily
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of content creation and more importantly, modification. Ex. turn a bunch of stuff into a sub-page in a couple of clicks, drag content to another page, convert between different types (ex. bullet list to checklist), reorder content by dragging, etc.
Quickly sharing pages with others even if they don't have a notion account (ex. artists we want to commission).
Also, databases are life.

What do you dislike about the product?
Out of the top of my head
- Limited security (no 2-factor auth of any kind).
- Being able to quickly save a reference from the web is amazing, not having a way to save the images permanently (instead of simply embedding them) is less so.
- Not being able to backup/export my personal and professional workspaces separately.
- Very limited colour palette for things like tag colours - please add more!
- I now hate all other software that doesn't allow me to reorder paragraphs by dragging them.
- Limited support for diagrams.
- I'm sure I'll remember something else after submitting this form - feel free to contact me later.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's like a 2nd brain - I can offload pretty much everything into it, from references to project ideas to the actual project design and production. I can also tinker with the structure until I'm happy with it and it doesn't have to be the same for all projects.
A tool to scale team organization & engagement
What do you like best about the product?
Notion's UI offers a sandbox for any organization to build upon. Our team was able to leverage the easy-to-use UI to rollout a shared library of knowledge docs, team information, and HR materials. Notion has enabled us to improve team, organization and client communications. It serves as our company's "homebase," making it easy for us to share announcements, manage onboarding, create a community, and keep track of deadlines.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting started with Notion is super easy but after you get your workspace built, there are some challenges in scaling. As an advanced user, there's fewer resources on how to maximize your instance to leverage database details or other features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is providing a "homebase" for our organization. We had no location to centrally hold announcements, onboarding materials, SOPs, etc. before we got Notion. Now the entire team has access to the documents they need to be successful.
Tremendously useful for product and cross-functional teams
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive, easy to learn and really powerful
What do you dislike about the product?
The size of the margins on the pages not being an editable option
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
Streamlined experience and customization
What do you dislike about the product?
Lacking some basic features such as recurring tasks
