What do you like best about the product?
I like a o lot of possibilities for customization the page adding files from other sites or workspaces
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that after sharing a link to the outside customers there is no side bar to search documents. Mainly limits about visualization of the page. Not able to scale columns or rows in tables. Limits about changing size of image or position it on site
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For document managment system I need to create also tables on my page with more customization i.e. scaling rows and columns. After exporting it to PDF file some of the columns are cut in half and other part appear on next page which in the end looks really bad. Sharing link does not show side bar for easier surfing on the page and finding docs, which feature is included for workspace teamates.

There are a lot of features and other services integrated into it. It's good for planning, brainstorming, and note-making affairs. Moreover, it can be synchronized in several devices by one account
What do you dislike about the product?
Well, it may not work properly well in the offline mode. Also, personally, for me, it takes a lot of operational memory which slows down the laptop during my work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Planning, project management, security, information storage, brainstorming, notes & ideas. Issue processing, outsourcing. In general, it helped to improve the vision of our project and how to implement our ideas

Notion is great for establishing playbooks and interaction circuits inter and infra teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of features I dislike about Notion

We couldn't compile our playbooks earlier for different teams and couldn't share them seamlessly. Onboarding new employees have become much easier.

    Information Technology and Services

It's nice to be using a smart, customisable and highly usable product everyday

What do you like best about the product?
I find it incredibly useful as a knowledge base. It's easy to embed documents from various sources, create databases for storing valuable information or running projects. The whole blocks aspect is quite nice as well, it gives Notion an edge in terms of usability compared to other note-taking tools out there.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tables - I have gotten pretty frustrated in the past because of the /table not working as I thought it should. I find it hard to copy paste data from other tabular data sources, moving things around is painful, the whole experience is just quite rough. Databases are one way to go about it but if youre just wanting to drop down a few numbers in a table they often feel overkill.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use notion as a knowledge base, we keep company wide information, team specific information and I personally run my todo lists off it too. It's a very covenient way of having all the information that you need through a comapany in one place.

If I'm running a user research campain - notion database
If I need to take down notes in a meeting - notion shared page
Thinking of documenting a process within your team - notion

Its an easy to use tool which can solve a lot of problems around storing information

What do you like best about the product?
that it's like my personal notebook, which I can share with my colleagues, the same time can create creative ways to show information, plus best help in my operational everyday tasks
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest, haven't thought about things I don't like, maybe the thing with sharing files with users who don't have an account sometimes there is some bug issues
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As i'm head of operations, Notion helps me in every day challenges, I can create loads of databases, etc to keep on tracking all of the changes

    Civic & Social Organization

Great way to organise our social impact venture

What do you like best about the product?
Super flexible, easy to organize, collaborate and feedback information
What do you dislike about the product?
If you're moving from Trello, Monday it can be a bit of a learning curve, but it's not steep.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have lots of moving parts in our business, and alot of our team is based in different locations. Notion has helped us to stay connected, and in-sync. We can easily communicate what each team is working on, and at which part of the mission they're at. When we Zoom in, we're not wasting time catching each other up - we can communicate the gut stuff that can't be easily translated via words.

    Daniel G.

Really good for organising teams, files and SOP (all-in-one)

  • November 01, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Flexible for any scenario. We use it to manage our team, Employees, SOP, documents and even our website with super.so! I prefer it rather than Google Drive organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say that the positive it has also made the negative. For instance, if you want to manage tasks, it will not be as well done and powerful as Asana. So depending on what you need, not Notion will always be the best solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Manage employee contracts, files, and information,...
- SOP (Standard operating procedures)
- Company information such as LLC documents and more.
- Bugs from our product
- Zoom Calls (with links from Loom)
