Daily use of Notion in work life
What do you like best about the product?
In my work notion it's my second brain. With the help of notion I can schedule my tasks like a reminder mail to client or deadline of the work. Then what are the things include in the in project I can create a page to note down. Then the calendar feature is helpful which are the works are complete and which are the works are pending and what are the upcoming task it very useful in my daily work to simplify.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion have some paid service like while I am asking the question in Notion Ai with the different apps i used But to use this service the subscription pricing is not worth to invest in my opinion. Then notion is only theme is black or white so the customisation is not available right now. These are the things I hate in notion in my usage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First of all notion saves me lot of time because it shows what are the works are completed and which are pending. Then the crazy part it's cut down physical note usage. So it's same my time and money also in the same time.
Intuitive Platform with Cross-Platform Flexibility, But Freemium Model Limits
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for almost everything, like my notes, journals, proposals, services plans, packages, and to plan things. I love its top-quality interface in dark mode. Notion's cross-platform availability makes everything easy to access for me since I have Windows and Mac PCs, as well as an iPhone and Android. I can share my notes with anyone I want. The interface, widgets, predefined templates, and ease of use are the most important things I like about Notion. The initial setup was damn easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the limits on notes and the requirement for payment. I have tons of notes saved, and I thought it was free but it is actually freemium.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion simplifies note sharing with my team and offers top-quality interface and cross-platform availability, making it easy to access and share notes across devices. It's great for organizing my notes, journals, proposals, and planning.

Transformative but Challenging
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Notion for saving and sharing notes because it allows me to share documents with enhanced components like hyperlinks and images. My favorite feature is the AI assistance, which helps rewrite content more properly. Notion becomes even more powerful when used with integrations and third-party tools that enhance automation, communication, and file management. It acts as a central command center, saving massive time by automating content creation and finding info across apps like Slack and Google Drive. Though Notion's initial setup can feel overwhelming due to its vast flexibility, it's made easier with Master Task List templates and guides.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion is a powerful and flexible tool, but its primary drawbacks include a steep learning curve, performance issues with large amounts of data, and limited and often slow mobile app usability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for saving and sharing notes. It lets me share documents with enhanced components like hyperlinks and images. Notion's AI assistance improves content rewriting, and integrations transform it into a command center, saving time by automating content creation and information retrieval across apps.
Efficient Idea Storage with AI-Enhanced Flexibility
What do you like best about the product?
I love the possibilities with Notion. It's extremely powerful, allowing me to create multi-page wikis and databases to store lots of info in an easily readable way. The AI makes it much faster and better at creating pages than I could have done manually. The databases are great as a storage unit for all the pages I work on. The multi-page feature is fantastic for viewing them individually. The AI also made the setup much simpler, which might have been too difficult otherwise.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI cannot make templates for a database. It can make the page, which is great, but when you tell it to make that into the template that you can use later for all the new pages, it makes you manually copy-paste it into the template section. The page can be created through the AI, but a template cannot be saved through the AI, only manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for live note-taking and idea storage. It quickly creates pages with AI, simplifying setup. I love the ability to make a multi-page wiki and database, storing info accessibly.
Comprehensive and Insightful, Yet Requires Effort
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Notion for managing my team and organizing meeting notes. I love that it provides the ability to have all my meeting notes in one place, with an AI summary and next steps feature. I also really like its comprehensive reach and consider it a knowledge management software that makes all the difference for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's sometimes a little difficult to integrate into clips and collection of future oriented activities. It requires some effort to set up, and its comprehensive nature demands intentionality to establish.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion keeps all my meeting notes in one place and provides AI summaries with next steps, enhancing organization and team management.
Customization That Perfectly Fits Our Workflow
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Notion is fully customizable compared to other similar apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
I love Notion Page structure but sometimes it complicates things at least for me. There is a novelty with apps like Obsidian where I can easily capture a single note but in Notion its a page which feels heavy. It might be more of a psychological thing when it comes to these note apps where I lean towards traditional single note structures.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is one of the best collaborative note taking apps on the market and I have used pretty much all of them. We use it at our firm to keep the design team in sync. It is only two of us but it helps with meeting and project notes. We are also going to be using the AI integration instead of one-off modal chats with free ai tools like ChatGPT. That way we can build shared workflows in our AI processes going forward.
Centralized Hub for All Company Knowledge
What do you like best about the product?
Single place as SoT for the company, we have all the documentation, weekly updates, processes, how we work there
What do you dislike about the product?
Missing a Google Sheet concept, or the tables concepts which are not easy to edit modify etc...

Replacing Google Drive
Flexible Yet Overwhelming for Some
What do you like best about the product?
I mainly use Notion for task planning, note-taking, and tracking goals. Notion solves the problem of scattered information for me by keeping everything in one organized system, which helps me stay focused and reduces mental clutter. What I like most about Notion is its flexibility; I can structure it exactly the way my brain works rather than being forced into a fixed system. It's simple on the surface but powerful once you start customizing it. The feature of blocks is key, allowing me to mix text, checklists, databases, and links on the same page and rearrange them anytime. Databases are particularly useful because I can view the same information as a list, table, or calendar without rewriting anything. Blocks make it easy to build and change things quickly, and databases help turn simple notes into something structured, allowing me to filter, sort, and track progress. Together, they keep everything organized while staying flexible.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside is that Notion can feel overwhelming at first because there are so many ways to set things up. It also depends heavily on an internet connection, so offline use isn’t great. Performance can slow down on very large databases. None of these are deal-breakers, but they’re areas that could definitely improve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves the problem of scattered information by keeping everything in one organized system. It helps me stay focused and reduces mental clutter.
Flexible Data Management with Room for AI Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Notion for organizing my personal life and side projects. It solves the problem of keeping different files and information clear and accessible. I really appreciate its ability to have highly flexible data structures, allowing me to link different types of information together, which would be very difficult otherwise. The initial setup was very easy, especially since I'm a developer, and I also use Notion with other tools like Claude & Notion calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most things work quite well, some areas of improvement could be making AI more useful. I know it's new and a work in progress, however, it's very basic at the moment. I would like to have a better file management system where I could see and search for files more easily. Particularly PDFs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me organize my personal life and side projects by keeping different files and information clear and accessible, and linking different types of information together easily.
