What do you like best about the product?
Notion serves as our company's intranet/an internal knowledge base where almost anything you would want to know is spelled out. New employees quickly learn that Notion is where most questions can be answered and we have yet to have any one tell us that it's difficult to navigate the software.
We have everything mapped out in Notion, like;
- Company org chart
- What each team handles
- How we expect teams to cross collaborate
- Employees we've designated as SMEs
- How to solve common issues reported by customers/our knowledge base
- Our SLAs (which vary by the client)
- How to escalate things to which organizations
- Every documented SOP and even placer holders for the SOPs that still need to be established
- Each client, their tech stack, which products they have purchased of ours, how our software is integrated into their current tech stack, specific/unusual account set up notes
I'm certain that everyone in the organization uses it daily and I would go on to guess that most people use it more than 3/4 times a day. It integrates with everything, I believe 104 different programs and it has outstanding features of it's own like it's AI chatbot and Notion Calendar. Integrations are seamless and work consistently. I wasn't present for the implementation process but I know it involved some minor data importing from various google docs and drive files which Notion handled effortlessly. Personally, I haven't had to contact support but I know from visiting the website that the CS team is both present and ready to help with any issues that may come up. The AI chatbot for Notion is EXCELLENT. We can ask it things like, "I have a customer who is unable to access their account. Their organization uses single sign on and I believe we are unable to change their password. How can I help them regain access to their account?" and it would spit out an answer. Which could save someone on our support team something like 3 hours of research time.

What do you dislike about the product?
The administration of Notion can be a beast. If every user is given complete access and little training, the quality of the information one can find in this resource can become seriously compromised. I have often been directed to a page in Notion that has not been validated by a subject matter expert and written by a tier one support associate. I don't mean to suggest that a tier one associate couldn't write an authoritative SOP but I would prefer that validated results are surfaced before those that haven't been reviewed. Limits to your account/permissions aren't clear until you attempt to do something but are unable to do it. Permissions can be changed at the user level or the workgroup level or even by the page. So, I think permissions/roles in notion should be clearer and users should be provided with what they can and cannot do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It serves as the central repository for information for our organization. With the addition of it's AI chatbot, it also serves as a primary source whenever anyone within the organization has a "How do I..." question. It contains standard operating practices and outlines how we work, what we work on, who does what and how they do it.
Notion AI is Game-Changer for Productivity
What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been using Notion AI for about 5 months now, and it’s honestly been a game-changer for how I work. It helps me draft content, organize my thoughts, brainstorm new ideas, and even search through my notes more effectively. The search function is a huge win—whether I’m looking for specific details or trying to connect different pieces of information, it finds exactly what I need quickly. Plus, it provides the source link in search results, making it easy to trace back to where the info came from. What I love most is how seamlessly it integrates with Notion. I often use ChatGPT or Claude models available.
What do you dislike about the product?
some users may find the mobile app a bit slower or less intuitive compared to the desktop version. But overall, it's a minor inconvenience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is solving a few key problems that I used to struggle with, especially around organization, content creation, and research. It helps me keep all my thoughts, tasks, and projects in one place, which used to be scattered across multiple apps. The integration of Notion AI has been a huge benefit—it saves me time by assisting with content drafting, idea generation, and structuring documents. The AI also makes searching for information within my notes super efficient. For search across org knowledge base, I can find it instantly and get the source link. This has streamlined my workflow and boosted productivity. Plus, having everything in one place letting me focus on what really matters.
Good for documentation, high price
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and feature complete, making a perfect companion for documentation and basic project management. Problems are easy to solve
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost of ownership is very high for what the tool offers and is not aligned with the competition: read-only occasional users within the same company need to pay the full price.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Central and updated documentation hub for some teams within our organization
Comprehensive, maybe too much so
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is very flexible in a lot of the feature options, great place for brainstorming, keeping track of tasks and items without needing a formal database.
What do you dislike about the product?
They're trying to do too much — the great features are the documentation/recordkeeping ones, anything beyond the core editing is half-baked and not very useful. The database table formulas could be a lot more intuitive, like their competitor Coda.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team is fully remote, so having a hub for our resources is really handy.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of jumping between Google Docs, Sheets, Slack, Airtable, and such, Notion centralises everything and cuts down on time spent transferring data between operation systems.
I'm able to view my team's capacity, sales pipelines, content calendars, or client onboarding progress in one space.
