Zoom: Makes Remote Work Easy and Smooth
What do you like best about the product?
I like how everything is in one place—chat, meetings, and collaboration tools. It’s easy to use and helps my team stay connected. The video quality is good, and the shared spaces make projects more organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it feels a bit slow when switching between features. Notifications can also be a bit overwhelming if not managed well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom Workplace makes remote communication much easier. Instead of switching between multiple apps, we can chat, call, meet, and collaborate all in one place. This saves time and reduces confusion. It keeps everyone on the same page, even when working from different locations.
Zoom Workplace: An Honest Evaluation for Teams
What do you like best about the product?
I like Zoom Workplace best because its video meetings are smooth and reliable, the built-in AI saves me time by summarizing calls and drafting messages, and having chat, docs, email, and whiteboards all in one app cuts down on switching between tools. Features like breakout rooms and polls make collaboration easy, and the whole system is simple to use — it just works.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that while Zoom Workplace bundles chat, docs, and whiteboards into one app, these tools often lack the depth or flexibility of specialized alternatives—making complex tasks feel limited unless I switch to other apps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom Workplace solves my big need to connect and collaborate smoothly. I use it for reliable video calls with teams, instantly sharing my screen to explain things, brainstorming together on a shared whiteboard, and recording quick clips so others can catch up later. It puts everything in one place—saving me time switching apps and making remote work feel simple and connected.
Popular Videosharing tool for a reason
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Intuitive UI and controls for screen sharing and doing webinars in client-facing roles like Sales and Support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. Sometimes the controls like the attendee panel can get in the way but its a minor nuisance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is my company's main tool for conducting virtual meetings with clients and presenting our sales pitches and demos.
Great Service
What do you like best about the product?
Completely integrates with my notes keeper (Avoma), very easy to use, and inexpensive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really have any cons to add about zoom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conistency across how our teams communicate.
Ease of virtual meetings improves collaboration
What is our primary use case?
I am the investor looking to buy company stock. I am not sure about specific details since I am not an IT person. I have an oil and gas company with 80 people, and we have two IT staff members who use Microsoft Defender. I also have a marketing company, and we use these solutions across all companies.
What is most valuable?
For me, the team meetings are the same. It is easy to use and the quality is good. I have no complaints.
Zoom and team meetings are all good with no complaints.
It is much easier compared to previous solutions. Before these products came out, we used Skype or phone calls, which were not as convenient. With Zoom or Teams, it is very easy to share content. The ability to conduct reviews is beneficial.
What needs improvement?
Nothing is 100% perfect. If I appreciate a product, I typically rate it eight or nine out of ten. The only perfect score of ten I give is to my wife.
Regarding the technical aspects of usage, I think they have a good product currently. As a normal user who occasionally uses it for employee and onsite communication, I have no complaints. It has helped us significantly.
For how long have I used the solution?
We have been using the solution for approximately six or seven years.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
I am not aware of the pricing. My IT staff might know, but I have no information about it.
What other advice do I have?
We use it sometimes for meetings. I work for an energy company.
Both solutions are simple and very easy to use. We sometimes use both solutions as our business associates use both as well.
The implementation was mostly handled by the IT team. It is much easier now compared to previous solutions. When sharing content, both Zoom and Teams work effectively.
My overall rating for this solution is 8 out of 10.
Efficient and evolving but not flawless
What do you like best about the product?
Seamless Video and Audio Quality when compared to other platforms. The interface is user friendly on a monitor or a mobile device. You get quite familiar with daily use.IWhether on desktop, mobile, or browser, Zoom Workplace works consistently across different devices and operating systems, which enhances accessibility and flexibility which makes it quite easy to implement. Except the team chat, it has whiteboards, shared spaces, and calendar integrations—making it more of a unified collaboration platform.Zoom has improved security features like end-to-end encryption, meeting passcodes, waiting rooms, and better admin controls to ensure safe virtual environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Zoom Workplace is expanding, many smaller teams find the array of tools excessive or underutilized. The focus on bundling multiple services might feel like overkill. Large-scale meetings (over 100 participants) sometimes experience lag, delays, or crashes, especially when using advanced features like polling or breakout rooms. The free version is limited in terms of meeting duration and storage, and the paid plans can become expensive, especially for growing teams or organizations needing advanced admin and compliance features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When presenting, zoom enables me easily to find the right tool to make the whole experience much pleasant for me and the participants.
Great collaboration platform
What do you like best about the product?
Audio quality and connectivity, option for blurring changing backgrounds, lesser call drops
What do you dislike about the product?
Multiple folks on group call tend to have inconsistent audio/video experience. Also, the mobile app is not as robust as the standard desktop application
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I solves one-off video calls with 3rd parties if/when needed. At this point it is not our first choice of audio/video collaboration.
It is an efficient tool although there are opportunities for improvement in the interface.
What do you like best about the product?
The configuration that can be done beforehand or during the call for the guests
What do you dislike about the product?
The duration of free calls is very short, the main screen distribution options and the participant view do not optimize space (it's better in Google Meet), you have to enter codes and passwords.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Whenever they tell me that the call will be on Zoom, I think it's more complicated. There are the annoying codes and passwords that you have to enter, by default it asks you to install a program and you can't just enter from the browser, it limits the number of consecutive sessions you can have, during the call the space doesn't seem optimized to distribute the main screen and the participants, I also don't like the dynamic for screen sharing, you frequently get confused about what you're sharing or how you can change or stop doing it.
