Zoom for Webinars & Meetings

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is very easy to use, solid, and reliable. If you intend to do webinars regularly, you need to get a Zoom account. My account is a Pro account and costs $49 and will hold up to 500 attendees. Recording is available, and a host of other features that I don`t even use. All in all Zoom is an excellent value if you are doing regular webinars/meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only real gripe is that as Zoom has grown tremendously in the past few years, customer service has deteriorated.
A couple of years ago, you could actually call up and speak to a human that could solve your problem almost immediately.
Now you can use chat or send a message which means if you have a time-sensitive issue, you may have to wait for an answer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I`m in the "Live" speaker/training business. Because of Covid, my business died totally last year. So I made a rapid transition to webinars using Zoom.
Without Zoom, I would have been out of business. So I, for one, am a fan!

A Must Have Tool For Your Busienss

What do you like best about the product?
It's super simple to use, and you don't need much training to learn how to use it. It's a household name and customers are not afraid to use it. It allows me to connect with clients much quicker than other methods.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their Q&A section doesn't always provide the answer for the most current version. It makes it hard for users to understand because they can't locate what is referenced in the answers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Zoom to meet with my clients and have larger meetings. It has allowed me a platform that is easy to set up, and users can access it easily. I love that I can record my meetings and share them with clients, do a quick recording, and share information. I also use Zoom to record training videos that I can use for my business. The quality of the video is much better than other recording software.

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy as can be. It seems like there are very few people that can't figure out zoom. I have used it with groups of all ages and everyone seems to be able to make it work.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't a lot to dislike. If I were to complain about one thing, it's that you have to get up into a relatively expensive package to host more than one meeting at a time, but that's not a problem with the software; it's just a personal complaint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Covid has brought a whole range of new issues. Not being able to meet in person can have severe effects on a business. Zoom has brought people back together both at work and in our personal lives in a time where being physically close isn't possible. We have also saved time and travel with zoom and this is something that I think will continue even post covid.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try out the free version first to make sure it's something that you feel will work for you, but after that I would sign up with no reservations.

What do you like best about the product?
The excellent audio and video quality for the meetings and webinars I attend. Especially in this time of the pandemic, when everything is almost online. Zoom has tools needed for the conference, like online chats, Q&A, sharing of screens, groupings, and more. I can also use it on my phone to attend meetings, even if I'm outside or have no access to my laptop. It doesn't consume much of data.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about this application. On the contrary, it's advantageous and easy to use for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The only problem I encountered was the first time I used it. I haven't known yet how to use the other tools and set up others like audio and video settings. But later on, I was able to figure it out, and it was very easy to use.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You can use the zoom on your virtual meetings and webinars. It is very easy to use, and the tools are very helpful.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, very intuitive. Love the breakout rooms
What do you dislike about the product?
That the chat conversation is deleted once the meeting is over. And the breakout room can be closed by the zoo admin without an early notice.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is a trusted platform for meetings and I use it daily at work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Minor issues that I wish they would change- when sharing your screen you cannot open a webpage and show a video- you have to stop sharing your screen and grab the webpage and share. Also, if you are sharing tour screen and need to invite someone using the invite feature you have to stop sharing tour screen. We do a lot of division hour long meetings (where I share the agenda slides) so this is disruptive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to use basic platform and now includes closed captioning as well as controls if you have an interpreter speaking in another language.

Next Best Thing To Being There

What do you like best about the product?
Time Saver. I lead a team of salespeople traveling all over the city, and Zoom has made it convenient for us to have our weekly team meetings and weekly one-on-one meetings without the travel time we were doing previously.

Before Covid, I was using Zoom for a weekly client meeting since 2018.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were a few items that needed tweaked but all is good now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used Zoom for a couple of years with a client that had weekly meetings with team members from across the country, so this has been a great alternative to other conference call set-ups.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is an app that simplifies the way we communicate. It has various fantastic preferences like zoom backgrounds, breakout rooms, and other interesting and helpful tools for teachers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Few things to dislike about zoom, but maybe the way it stores recorded sessions or videos just for 30 days.
I would also like zoom to save conversations or zip videos so I can dowload them quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many problems, for example, daily communication with students. Zoom helps us deal with shy students that communicate just in break-out rooms or private chat, and it allows us, teachers, to become their guide one on one and give them specific feedback.

Easy to use

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to create meetings and easy to join. You just share your meeting code and password and you're all set!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that there's only a 40 minute time limit for a basic account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
During the covid pandemic it made it easy to connect with coworkers for meetings without having to leave our homes.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is incredibly easy to use with one-click meeting starts and a desktop app that makes quickly starting or joining a meeting super easy. I've been a long-time user and lover of Zoon but since the rise of working from home that began in 2020 they've added even more incredible features that beef up security for users.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a prolific user who spends roughly 15-20 hours per week on Zoom on average, I wish I had the ability to customize the settings more to my liking. My clients know when I'm recording and not recording and, as a pro user, I would love to be able to turn that off because it also creates an extra audio file when I'm recording podcast episodes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My entire business model is 100% virtual and so being able to use Zoom allows me to stay visually connected with clients and my team so that we can communicate effectively to get projects planned, implemented, and finished. I also use Zoom to record my podcast and really love how versatile the software is so that I don't have to pay for multiple single-use products.
