Still relying on Zoom after the COVID-19 Pandemic

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is simple for my clients that are not tech-friendly. It's easy to use. We started using it during the COVID-19 Pandemic and are still using Zoom daily. Clients
What do you dislike about the product?
There is something to say about in-person meetings that virtual meetings are not the same. Zoom does make it a lot better than the old days of a conference call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom benefits us because we have been able to stay in touch with our clients during the COVID Pandemic. Now, our clients like the ease of use of using Zoom. We have more productive meetings because we are not wasting time in traffic.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of signing in is the simplest on the 'net. I can send a link to anyone, including the most unsophisticated people, and they sign in -- whether just audio or both audio and video - and particiapte with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Everything works great. I strongly recommend this to everyone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has cut my costs and my client's cost exponentially. Plus, it's a great time saver that reduces travel, prep time and meeting time.

Association Management Uses Zoom for Meetings and Classes

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use - easy to navigate - easy to schedule and facilitate meetings. Privacy settings based on meeting type. Meeting platform accommodates both small and large meetings. Ability to record classes and retrieve registration and poll logs - necessary for licensing purposes for our members. Ability to save chat boxes with pertinent information. Have never had any technical difficulties.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't encountered anything with Zoom that has been detrimental to what I was trying to accomplish.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was easy to get started with Zoom when our in-person meetings were limited due to COVID. It was seamless to transition to virtual meetings and classes with little knowledge of the platform ahead of time. We continue to navigate our business in a post-covid world where many people now prefer to meet virtually. The ability to use Zoom for our meetings also helps us to accommodate those that would typically have to travel to attend meetings. We have better meeting attendance and participation now.

Zoom makes our lives easier

What do you like best about the product?
I use Zoom as a lawyer. Our judicial circuit is the size of Vermont so using Zoom for short court appearances saves me a lot of time and stress and it saves my clients money. It is also nice to give clients who might live an hour (or states) away the option to have a Zoom meeting or a Zoom mediation session.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I were in charge of Zoom, I would not make "everyone" the default for chat messages. It is too easy to send what was meant to be a private reply to everyone.

Also a doorbell feature for people needing to enter breakout rooms would be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is solving the problem of being geographically spread out. It also helps financially disadvantaged litigants participate in the court process. It helps courthouses that are short on space manage their dockets.

What do you like best about the product?
While other video meeting platforms can be hard to use, difficult to invite guests to, and require jumping through hoops to get all the details figured out, Zoom just works the way you want it to - consistently, with good quality and all the key features you need (screen sharing, reoccurring events, unique invites for guests, the option to have on or off your mic/camera, etc). It even integrates with Google Calendar so that I can add my meeting links directly into my calendar invites! When I ended up with a second zoom account for another business I'm involved with I was also pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to switch between accounts and manage both.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are two things I wish zoom did a little differently — first, right now when using the app on my MacBook Pro it isn't very smart about scheduling times. It doesn't always correctly update the end time of a call or meeting based on the start time, which can lead to a bit of tedious checking. Second, I don't love the separation between webinar and meeting services... I understand them though. The final thing I think would benefit from some updates is the screensharing settings — I often talk clients through sharing their screen for the first time and many are confused by the options that pop up after clicking on share screen - they don't know which option to choose or understand the differences between them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I run a small marketing agency where we build wordpress websites. Zoom allows me to meet with potential clients for sales calls as well as conduct meetings with existing clients. Its screen sharing tools make it easy to show clients their in-progress websites and talk in real-time through edits or changes they would like me to make. It also allows them to share their screen and show me things they may be seeing on their end via their devices, so I can trouble shoot more easily.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use on Zoom makes it such a great tool. Also, cloud recording has been a life saver for our work. The simplicity of collaboration is also helpful. Great admin tools
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a little pricey. I wish we could get nonprofit pricing. As a tool, it has no weaknesses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We work with students and families and this helps us to stay connected in an innovative way that allows for families to save time on travel.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing that I have found using Zoom is the help section that answers most of the questions that you would have setting up your meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since starting with Zoom I have yet to find something that doesn't work well or any downsides. It does what it is designed to do. It gives you the opportunity to host meetings as well as save those recorded meeting to review later.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business problems that Zoom is solving for me is being able to meet with my team members and not have scheduling scheduling conflicts. It allows the members of my team that are out of town to attend meetings and stay in the loop of my business needs.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom allows us to have remote meetings, trainings and teach classes, all with appropriate functionality for each usage
What do you dislike about the product?
the chat can be very temperamental, and often does not allow things to be copied from it. there may be a setting to change this but, if so, it's very well hidden.
also polls, and this may have changed in the year since i last used it, are great to use but hard to create, and needed to be created before a meeting was set up in order to be accessible. and could certainly not be set up on the fly. that needs work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
During the pandemic all of our live event options disappeared. Zoom gave us the capability to transition to the virtual space, and broaden our reach to other time zones.
In a training capacity, it's also allowed me to conduct trainings all over the country rather than travelling there.

What do you like best about the product?
You can meet online and set comfortable backgrounds when hosting important meetings. Enjoy being able to rely on the app to join an important meeting or when a last-minute meeting arises.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that when you click on the meeting link, it takes you to the browser and then you have to select to launch the app, which can be time consuming and could make someone run late.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping us not have to meet in person, it can add some formality to some meetings, which is nice.
