Not Just Calls — A Culture Connector
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom Workplace goes beyond being just a video meeting tool — it creates a sense of connection among teams. I like how seamlessly it integrates chat, meetings, and collaboration features in one place. The intuitive interface, reliable video quality, and easy cross-device access make it feel less like a tool and more like a shared digital workspace. It helps foster team culture, especially in hybrid or remote setups, by making daily interactions natural and effortless
What do you dislike about the product?
While Zoom Workplace is strong at creating connections, sometimes it feels overwhelming with too many notifications across chat, meetings, and calendar integrations. The platform could simplify how alerts are managed so that important updates don’t get buried. Also, large team meetings occasionally face minor lags or audio drop-offs, which can break the flow of collaboration. A smoother experience in these high-traffic moments would make it even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom Workplace is helping bridge the gap between remote and in-office teams, ensuring no one feels left out of the conversation. It solves the challenge of scattered communication by bringing meetings, chat, and collaboration into one hub. For me, the biggest benefit is how it reduces friction — instead of juggling multiple tools, I can connect, share, and follow up all in the same space. This saves time, keeps projects moving, and most importantly, strengthens team culture by making collaboration feel natural and continuous.

I don't care for the 40 minute limit. That and my company went ultimately with Microsoft Teams, so it isn't as relevant anymore.

Before we moved on, we would use it for all conference calls - a lot of strategy meetings and collaboration. We have multiple facilities around the USA, so being able to meet "face to face" really sped up problem solving.

Zooming Ahead: How Zoom Keeps Me Connected
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Zoom since 2020, and I almost use the platform every day. Zoom has quickly become an essential part of my communication and collaboration, both professionally and personally. It’s more than just a video conferencing platform, offering a suite of tools that brings my clients and teams together no matter where they’re based around the UK or beyond. For me, the biggest benefit lies in its simplicity, it’s intuitive to use, reliable, and works seamlessly across my devices, which are an Apple MacBook Pro, Apple iPhone and iPad. Whether I’m joining from my laptop, mobile, or even integrating with my calendar, Zoom ensures meetings happen smoothly without unnecessary friction.
What I like best about Zoom is the way it creates an inclusive and interactive environment. The video quality is consistently strong, the audio is clear, and the features such as breakout rooms, polls, and screen sharing make sessions engaging when I host or join meetings. It’s ideal for when I am running online workshops, team meetings, or one-to-one catch-ups with my clients. The chat function also adds value, allowing participants to share resources, links, or thoughts without interrupting the flow of the conversation, which is very useful when we are running a workshop and have lots of people on the call.
Installation is simple on all my devices; simply download the app and log in (after creating an account) and you are good to go!
I also like how easily Zoom integrates with other platforms I use daily. Scheduling through both my Outlook and Google Calendars is effortless, and the collaboration tools, such as whiteboards and annotations, add a layer of creativity to discussions. Additionally, the security features give me confidence that conversations remain private and secure.
Overall, Zoom stands out because it combines reliability with functionality, enabling more natural, human interactions online. It has become my go-to solution for connecting, collaborating, and staying productive wherever I am.

What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest dislike is that Zoom and the frustrations I’ve experienced are with updates. The platform often requires downloads or patches at inconvenient times. While updates usually add useful features, they can occasionally interrupt the start of a meeting if not managed in advance.
That said, there isn't much to dislike, and it provides an excellent platform for my virtual collaboration needs.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom solves my accessibility issues of joining meetings. Whether I’m at my desk, on the move, in the car (parked up safely of course) or joining from home, I can connect with colleagues, clients, or partners instantly. This flexibility saves time, reduces travel costs, and ensures I’m not limited by geography when building relationships or getting work done. I also like the fact I can schedule calls with clients at a time that works for us both, and when we join the call we can see and hear each other, coupled with screen sharing, we can work on projects and get stuff done.
Straightforward way to video call with work or friends
What do you like best about the product?
Reasonably straightforward, I personally love the breakoutgroup feature where you can talk with individual groups. Great for collaboration
What do you dislike about the product?
The free plan has limited features,Needs powerful wifi connection slows down computer, drains battery.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Features such as generated backgrounds can be glitchy, and the audio acts up, but there have been updates making it better, especially making the backgrounds less wearing on your computer in terms of data/wifi usage

One of the best things about Zoom Workplace is its ease of use, making it simple for teams to adopt and navigate without a steep learning curve. It also boasts straightforward ease of implementation, allowing organizations to get up and running quickly. Customer support is reliable and responsive, helping to resolve issues promptly. The platform’s frequent use across teams speaks to its effectiveness and user satisfaction. While Zoom Workplace offers a comprehensive suite of collaboration tools, some users find it overwhelming due to its wide range of features, which can make navigation and usability challenging. Performance issues may arise on lower-end devices or slower internet connections, affecting the user experience. Additionally, the platform’s integrations don’t always cover every tool a company uses, potentially disrupting workflows. For teams transitioning from other systems, there can be a significant learning curve, and the overall cost of Zoom Workplace may be a concern for some organizations, especially when advanced features or add-ons are needed.
