Great way to communicate and review documents
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, and sharing documents is very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with any video program, it all depends on your Internet connection. If it is not very good, the quality will suffer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used this program throughout the pandemic when doing client intakes and consults. The program is easy to use, clients like it, and it allows us to review documents with clients very quickly. Sometimes reviewing documents (such as contracts) on Zoom sharing screens is easier than in-person reviews.
Simple & Adaptable
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is updating all the time to accommodate the ever-changing working environment. Their support is also wonderful and pretty responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom does have it's limitations with hosting which I wish wasn't the case, but I have a feeling in time, that it will also be adjusted and easier to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Honestly, working from home has been then major shift into Zoom over the last year. Zoom has changed functionality in a way that Google couldn't. I think it was the themes and perspective of Zoom which made it better for businesses.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Zoom may create some learning curve, but there are resources when using this. The primary issue I have ever had with Zoom is that hosts are limited in their meetings. For example, as the operations manager, I set meeting for almost everyone on our team. At times the host setup can be confusing and limiting how many meetings can go on at one time.
Great video and sound quality
What do you like best about the product?
The quality of sound and video is probably the best from the video conferencing tools. Also the responsiveness of the video is the best and there isn't a perceived delay of conversation as seen in other tools. The capabilities of sharing are great and I really like the annotate facility. Also the breakout rooms are the best in breed. The virtual background capabilities are also the best I've used so far
What do you dislike about the product?
The chat UI is minimal and confusing. Also, the UI, when you are sharing, needs a big UI, especially when doing with two monitors. The pricing is also a bit high. the file sharing capabitilies are subpar witht the other offers
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Facilitation of events, training, team communication. I love especially the breakout rooms capability to deal with big groups. Also used it for team cerimonies such as planning, dailyes and retrospectives
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out first using their free allowance, which is very generous and have all the features and is only limited by time

It's very easy to use. Works well on mobile as well as desktop.

Nothing really. It does everything its supposed to do.

Being able to communicate virtually with ease. Through the pandemic we were able to keep our business going without any interuptions.
It Has Transformed My Business
What do you like best about the product?
During the pandemic, I was able to conduct business in both NM and TX utilizing Zoom. People felt much more comfortable with me during virtual presentations instead of in person. I was actually able to increase my business and profitability moving forward. I am now licensed in 12 states and run a "virtual agency" now.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was easier for my clients to handle everything by just using their browsers. The link to hit to use their browser is too small. I wish it would give them the option to: 1) Small download package (2) Access through browser
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zooom enabled people from feeling uncomfortable with me coming to their home. I was able to do more presentations and save a lot in gas.
Streamlined Software for Virtual Meetings and Webinars
What do you like best about the product?
There are many different features to enhance the engagement of attendees. Polls, ability to play music, reactions, etc. The recording feature is also extremely valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to require cameras to be turned on all of the time. This would improve engagement exponentially. I also wish I could capture email addresses for each time someone joins a meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to connect team members from across the country and launched a virtual coaching group during Covid. We have become more productive as a team and are able to pull reports of attendees and use data to make decisions.
Great for Personal Use, Meetings and Virtual Events
What do you like best about the product?
It's an easy-to-use platform with many great functionalities. I've used it personally and professionally, including setting up our webinar and conference events. The level of customization it allows makes for a unique experience each time. Reporting is also thorough. On a personal level it is easy to navigate no matter the technical level of the person.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the Survey questions could be put into the template of a webinar so I don't have to redo them for each event. It is a time-suck. Additionally, I would like to be able to download all reports in one click vs. having to download each one individually. Some of the preferences are difficult to navigate and take some adjusting on the go to figure out. Support has overall been helpful but there have been several times when answers provided did not match questions asked (or documentation provided was incomplete).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We run virtual events and webinars, which used to be hosted through the clunkier GoToWebinar system. As a meetings solution, it is also superior to anything else we've tried in the past. I also needed a good personal solution for connecting with family and friends long distance, especially in the 2020 pandemic. This proved to be a solid solution all around, from professtional use as a host, personally as an attendee, and intimately between family and friends.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would suggest giving this a try first before exploring other solutions. There isn't much the platform can't accomplish.

What do you like best about the product?
Everyone has heard of Zoom, making it easy for those not as savvy about other options. Very simple to use, and I like that it is integrated with my outlook.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is now a timelimit for talking with just one person. 45 mins isn't always enough and it is very inconvenient to have to resign in just to finish a conversation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped me share my screen so clients could see what I was referencing instead of me trying to explain over a phone call. It also helped me keep connected to clients when we could not meet face to face.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is so easy to use, and if you are sharing with someone not tech-savvy, that is okay; they do not need to be.
We use Zoom so that we can share our screen. Makes tasks a lot easier to complete.
What do you like best about the product?
Connecting with co-workers. Not being able to go to the office and see my co-workers has been challenging. Being able to share screens has made it much easier to complete documents. The zoom website is very easy to use. Setting meetings, cancelling meetings, changing meeting times is very easily done on their website.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could take over my co-worker's computer, but that's a different software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Completing forms more quickly because we can share screens. Seeing co-workers, even virtually, keeps us connneted.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Zoom has been a lifeline since the pandemic. Connecting with co-workers (and family) via zoom has at least given me the opportunity to "see" people. The website is very easy to use and takes only a few minutes to figure out how to maneuver through the screens.
