Reliable and user friendly conferencing app
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is very interactive and user friendly . The closed captioned icons are easy to navigate . React with emojis options also helps to communicate better . The different views provided while a presenter is sharing content keeps the whole meeting organized . As a host you have control over the participants actions and thus can conduct a session in disciplined manner .
What do you dislike about the product?
Video Quality lacks in case of poor internet. The browser version doesn't have extended features and the meetings doesn't extend past the original duration . The virtual background feature is quite hidden and difficult to find for a first time user and number of backgrounds available are less and can be increased .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Webinars are now conducted on zoom for the past two years , this made the transition from office to work from home pretty seamless . The integration of outlook with zoom also helps alot . The reminder helps not to miss a meeting . Sessions can be recorded for future references with ease . Zoom has allowed the organization to conduct its regular functions without disruptions .

Go for it . As a business user zoom has solved alot of problems faced due to work from home scenario and to connect with onshore teams .

What do you like best about the product?
this has become the only software everyone uses so it has become the shorthand. screenshare/whiteboard is satisfatory. i think we're all used to the "Brady Bunch" layout right now. the big buttons are friendly and secret chat is great
What do you dislike about the product?
the 40 minute time limit is the worst, but it's doable. the worst feature is that after a meeting, if you download the recorded meeting, anyone can see the private direct messages. that's an unecesseracy feature.

I wish the whiteboard was interactive and could have multiple participants annotating the whiteboard. I aa more productive because all my students expect me to use zoom. it's the

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy this makes it for me to meet with clients and prospects. I'm able to easily schedule and host video chats with people all over the world. As long as you have a solid internet connection, you're pretty much good to go.
What do you dislike about the product?
I love how easy this makes it for me to meet with clients and prospects. It's not without its occasional technical glitches, but for a free service, you get great value. One thing I dislike about the free version is that it limits you to only 40 minutes if you have more than one person on the call. This wouldn't be a problem for me since almost all of my calls are one-one, but for some reason, it counts the software I use to transcribe my calls (Grain) as a third person. Another technical issue I come across is that you can't do everything from the app that you can do on your desktop (for example, I can't figure out how to record from my computer and have it save to my Zoom account. I feel like that should be an option (rather than saving it to your device). I also can't figure out how to use the cool Zoom backgrounds other people use. But, again, considering I don't use the paid version, I can only complain so much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've always worked virtually, so this isn't solving the problem of having a way to meet remotely in the way it s for a lot of people. However, it has given me a trusted platform to hold calls with clients. Almost everyone is already familiar with Zoom, so I haven't had anyone feel weird about my process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need to meet with multiple people, consider upgrading to the free version or you're going to have to either cut meetings short or ask everyone to hop back on once your 40 minutes runs out.

The most helpful about zoom is that we can share the screen and explain it clearly and make it all so easy. On the other hand, we can see all of the participant well.

Sometimes I obtain the connection such as the need for a good connection, wifi, or using a mobile phone as a modem. The serious obtain that currently still many people don't know how to use zoom properly, especially old men.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To make sure that we can use the zoom properly, we had prepared well kind of features such as audio, video and our device is compatible with support tools. Finally, make sure that connections are very well while we zoom meeting.

Make sure your device is used for the meeting by zoom like a laptop is useful, has a good connection

Zoom's is user friendly. The best feature I like is that you can send a personal message during the meeting on the platform.
The controls are higher compared to its competitors. The option of disconnecting audio and linking to device or speaker is easily navigable.

What do you dislike about the product?
While sending personal message, you have to select the receiver everytime you message them. Sometimes it ends up being sent to the whole group by mistake.
Second, if you get a call during zoom meeting, it automatically switches to audio on device mode. You have to disconnect the audio and switch it to speaker again.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was very helpful to me specially during this lockdown. All my lectures were held on zoom platform. I did alot of courses which were done on zoom. I was able to stay in touch with the world by staying at home.

UI is easy. Be careful about the personal messaging and audio options. Everything is easy to navigate
Efficient and utilitarian video conferencing solution
What do you like best about the product?
The speed and efficiency of the software even while handling a huge workload. One can easily host a group video call with a large number of participants without any hiccups. The admin access controls are granular and offer a ton of flexibility to the admin. It helps a lot in maintaining the decorum of the call when there are a large number of participants. Granting privileges to other co-hosts is easy as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface feels a bit old. Both in desktop and mobile apps the UI is very old and it takes a bit more time than usual to find the options that you are looking for. Also, the audio and video controls are a bit confusing to the uninitiated. In windows desktops, it becomes weird to look at 3 options for a mic when in reality you only have one. The desktop app also creates issues with Bluetooth headphones. It almost always doesn't connect to the right audio output, I have to manually dig into the controls to set it to the correct output, all the while taking care as to not miss what is being said in the meeting itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I regularly have a meetup with friends over Zoom. We tried a lot of other clients before Zoom like Google Meet, Skype, Microsoft Teams but none of them offered the efficiency of Zoom. It is the least resource-heavy video conferencing solution there is. The productivity of those meetups has increased because it has mitigated the worry of devices lagging due to the video conference itself. It just works. It has saved the members of our fan club the worry of upgrading their devices just to be able to attend the video conference without lag.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be mindful of what you are looking for. The UI elements are quite old school and need a bit of tech-savviness to find your way around the controls. If you deal with that then Zoom is for you. It offers a granular level of admin controls, easy user permission controls and is the least resource-intensive on top of it. This is also a great deal if the majority of your users have older low performing devices. It runs flawlessly and provides a great video conferencing experience.

Zoom is the saviour for remote working nowadays, it saves time, is effortless. It's very easy to host events, meetings with the team and schedule the calendar accordingly.

There are no downsides for Zoom, except for the time limit to host free zoom sessions, it's amazing, you can add multiple users at the same time, one can also perform recordings, It's the best. Thank you for this amazing product.

Zoom allows a large group of 2 - 200 people to join in a meeting. Zoom provides stable connecting. It is quite easy to use almost function. I like the feature providing a detailed report. When the meeting is completed, Zoom sends a detailed report to the host, which contains all useful information like Q&A asked, all attendees' information, data,...
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom makes it quite difficult to see all members' faces all at once. This problem is manageable with small group meetings. However, meetings with over 50+ participants make the platform get unbearable.

What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use and it is not necessary to have the application installed to be able to access meetings, you have options that complement work sessions very well, such as recording meetings and the virtual whiteboard allows a lot of interaction and better understanding.

What do you dislike about the product?
The free version is limited, the paid version can be expensive compared to other options on the market. It's not that intuitive, it's really confusing sometimes to access or create meeting rooms. In its free version, only 100 people can access it and in times when face-to-face meetings are not always available, this is very limiting.

What do you like best about the product?
Funtionality of both video and audio options, screen sharing, raise hand feature, recording options, overall Zoom has become an invaluable part of my life.
I use it for client meetings, webinars, and also in my personal life for attending meetings and worship services during the pandemic.

Sometimes it can be cumbersome, screensharing and video sharing is especially tricky.
But these problems are pretty minimal in comparison to the good parts of this software.

Being able to do meetings with clients and others and being able to see each other, but without having to be together in person.
I average 1-3 zoom meetings per day and it would be hard imagine how my life would function without it.
