Zoom lo mejor y lo peor.
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom es una muy buena plataforma para reuniones virtuales; desde la pandemia la virtualidad se volvio parte de nuestras vidas y Zoom ayudo mucho para mantener conectadas a familias, amigos y para vinculos laborales, como aplicacion su facilidad de conexion es buena desde que tengas el link o ID de la reunion.

Algo malo que le veo es que tiene tiempos especificos de reuniones y debe volver a realizarla, por lo tanto yo uso Zoom colo para cosas mas informales como para pasar el rato y no como una herramienta de trabajo remoto

Zoom tiene beneficios, como compartir pantalla, poder escribir sobre pantalla, se puede usar por llamada telefonica, conectividad de hasta 100 personas, es una herramienta util

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom allows me the ability to work remotely and connect both internally with colleagues at my company and externally with clients and potential clients. I love the background options they offer as well!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that sometimes it is hard to share my screen on zoom and sometimes I get disconnected from zoom but that is likely a wifi issue and not a zoom issue 90 percent of the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I mentioned, zoom helps me connect with colleagues both internally and clients externally from my job. Zoom gives me the option of working from home and connecting with clients and colleagues all over the world!

Definitely consider zoom for your workplace! It has made my job so much easier

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful aspect of Zoom is that you can join meetings and be productive with your work. You can have meetings with anyone, whether it be just you and them or with more people involved. The meetings can be one-time, where you'll have to schedule them first using the app, which will create the room. After that, you can use the room to host future meetings or instant chat messages. Alternatively, you can just create a permanent room if you don't have a set time for the meetings. You can add others as co-hosts to help you manage the meetings and also host and schedule them. Although there were some issues initially with privacy on Zoom, the developers have implemented measures to keep your rooms strictly available to only the people you want. You can set up a waiting room that the users will have to join first before being moved to the meeting room.
The meetings are pretty solid in A/V clarity so you can communicate pretty well. You can record your meetings seamlessly through the Zoom app. If you're on Zoom Pro, you can have cloud access to store your recordings. This makes it easier to share them with others if need be. Otherwise, you can save your meetings locally, which is easier if you want to review them offline. Zoom is excellent for presentations and webinars. You can select the source for the slides before you start the presentation. You can choose the file from Dropbox, Google Drive, or your computer and display it on Zoom for the other users. At any point during the presentation, you can add someone else as a co-presenter to let them move the slides. This is pretty helpful when presenting projects where each contributor can take part. Presentations are savable for all the participants.

Zoom could be more user-friendly. The setting up procedure at the start can be very confusing, but after a couple of tries, you'll get accustomed to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote work is the primary business problem Zoom is helping us solve. As a result of COVID and laws set by our country to deal with it, we're doing remote work to keep our organization functioning, where we use Zoom for all kinds of meetings and face-to-face virtual communications. Through Zoom, we can have meetings one-on-one for quick conversations and large meetings with up to 100 people. As we work on a strict schedule, we set our meetings as recurring from the initial stage, so now there's no time wastage in hosting or scheduling them again except for any emergency meetings that we host on a whim. Zoom is cross-platform, so we can use it on our mobile phones to stay connected with everyone and up to date on the happenings at our organization in the master room where announcements and notices are made. During training courses, we can easily break out into small rooms with a select few participants.

My advice for those who are looking at Zoom would be to give it a try as it's free. You can use it on the browser to see if it fits your bill and have test meetings to check the quality and the in-app features you can use. From my experience, Zoom is a top-quality application for meetings with excellent screen sharing, presenting, and cross-platform support. I've been using it for many years and it wasn't until after we shifted to working remotely that I fully understood its benefits.

I like it a lot because I can share my business in detail, showing my business presentation to people who are in other countries.
In addition, it makes our lives very easy, it is as if we were traveling from country to country to show our businesses.

I would have liked the free version to last longer for meetings, and also to be able to put co-hosts in the same version, apart from this there is nothing more to say.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The recommendation given is to avoid full screen mode, reduce the size of people's screens and use a separate keyboard from the monitor, to create more space between us and the screen.

I could connect with all my teammates while working from home due to COVID. As I was a project manager and coach I needed to contact and perform virtual visits at that time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Okay, personally I didn't dislike Zoom. But some of my colleagues find it difficult to join with a browser and they downloaded the app but it seems it is not that mobile device friendly.

Working from the home of course and communication is on just because of zoom. Even we are having our international seminars via Zoom which is awesome. I really feel relieved.

it uses very low amount of data compared to other video conferencing applications and also works well with low speed wifi with interruptions.

its virtual background feature can be improved. sometimes it does recognizes other parts of the body other than face. For example, when one waves a hand.

For most of my college lectures and also other academic activiites I prefer to use zoom.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, very good stability on low connection internet, Great for video conferencing. From the time of the pandemic to till date doing office meetings, and client meetings it works well.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are multiple points that I hated using it. 1. While if you are using the free version or your client who doesn't have a subscription to Zoom arranged a meeting over Zoom it has a time limit of 40 minutes and after 40 minutes it disconnects. Probably it's a business policy but for 1-2 meetings for the free users, they could have been allowing a minimum of 60 minutes. 2. Zoom should allow its user to have small packages, like pay per use or 5-10 meeting packages like that. Purchasing monthly and annual subscription is a bit expensive for small business firms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is the best tool for video conferences and meetings. Its sharing and whiteboard features are wonderful and solve all the common office conferences and meetings on the web. It's easily accessible from all devices. I can easily arrange meetings from mobile and conduct the meeting on the same.

A quality video calling solution that suites my educational & business requirement
What do you like best about the product?
They offer unlimited free video calls for up to 30 minutes. I have used both the free and paid version. The background blur and audio/video quality are better than other alternative apps. One of my favourite features is screen share and group/personal chat.
What do you dislike about the product?
I need to log in again and again on the Zoom app on my Macbook Pro M1 which is very annoying. Otherwise, I don't think there are any issues. The app is super user friendly.
