Consistently Positive Experience
What do you like best about the product?
It's extremely easy to use. When help is needed it's easy to access. People know Zoom and it makes it easier for non users to access when invited. It's also affordable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it will take a long while for my Zoom to connect to the internet despite my internet working just fine. I wish there were more emoji's that could be used in chat.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A way to interact easily and effectively with clients around the world without having to worry about commute times or software that is unnecessarily complicated.
Zoom has been a lifesaver
What do you like best about the product?
Meetings are easy to schedule, share, and join. Though we never had a problem with unauthorized entry to meetings, I appreciate the steps Zoom has taken to secure meeting entry.
What do you dislike about the product?
Security measures (like host must admit) that I need to remember to disable for most of our meetings. Would like to be able to choose our own default security settings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to have staff meetings and customer meetings with a visual component to help us stay connected. Our team doesn't feel as isolated when working remotely,
Overall, great experience
What do you like best about the product?
I like that zoom provides the option for password protected zoom meetings. Being able to switch between gallery vew to one single speaker is a plus. I find it helpful that zoom offers an option to "spotlight" one speaker and permits me to mute the other partiicpants when I am conducting a class
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that there is no way for the participants to keep their cameras on so I can see them, but nobody else can. It would be helpful to have an option to hide participants from other joiners, but for me to still see them. This would create a move private teaching experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am not sure what problems they are working on or how they may benefit me. When there was a security breach in 2020, zoom quickly fixed the issue with added security measures, and I appreciated that.
Making Businesses More Efficient
What do you like best about the product?
Ease with setting up meetings. I especially like the ability to share the link with my clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't had a downside to my use of Zoom
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving T & E budgets. I have the ability to increase my client base globally without the rigors of travel.
Perfect for my virtual side of my business
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom makes it easy to set up breakout rooms, handle recordings and easily connect with my participants via scheduling and communication in the chat.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love if the video quality was a little better, but that could be my technology and internet speed as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I haven't had anything that needs solved yet.
It's mostly very good although the user functions change from device to device
What do you like best about the product?
Decent quality. Ability to share screens and presentations. Like the filters better than other virtual meeting apps --- that's probably my # 1 reason for enjoying it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The most frustrating part about Zoom is that not all functions are easily accessed, especially once you are in a meeting. Example: Turning on Closed Captioning can be very difficult. Not everyone is going to think of everything they need to do to set up a meeting until they are in a meeting. Having the same user control functions across different devices would be helpful, especially when you are trying to guide another user to turn a function on or off while in the same meeting. The more direct and simple the language, the better!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Filters. It's important because many virtual meeting platforms are not flattering. If my hair is slightly frizzy, Google Meet makes me look like Pigpen from Charlie Brown, highlighting and accentuating every single hair out of place. So filters that help make people feel more like their normal selves, and hey, even better, helps people feel more confident while they are in meetings.
Great platform for online gatherings
What do you like best about the product?
User-friendly, confidential options for conferencing and gathering in breakout groups. I also appreciate that end users don't need to purchase the software to join our meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost for professional option is too high for a nonprofit organization. It's also frustrating that the app doesn't do an auto update on my computer, so if I don't use it for a bit it won't log right into the meeting and instead has to update.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hosting only meetings--both during COVID and when attendees are unable to gather in person. It allows us to gather as teams and committees to improve continuity of business.
The gold standard for a reason
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use interface, works on many devices, generally quite customizable to the needs of the meeting. I have mainly used the platform to host educational presentations for cancer survivors, many of whom are older and/or not tech-savvy, and on the whole, Zoom has been an easy tool for them to get the hang of.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lackluster tools for sharing files or chat-wide messages. For example, if someone joins a meeting late, they can't see group chat history or files shared before they arrived.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is helping a nonprofit that I work with bring educational and social opportunities to cancer survivors who may not be able to attend in-person events due to a compromised immune system or travel limitations.
I use Zoom every day in my business!
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has allowed me to expand my business by taking on clients from out of the area. I can meet for Client calls from home and even direct video shoots through it with my camera crew on site. Love the break out rooms feature and the recording option.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm annoyed that they no longer have a free version for the hour slot. I think that was a poor decision for the consumer since so many people depend on Zoom after the pandemic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to connect virtually with people all over the country without having to travel.
Convenient for Private Online Coaching
What do you like best about the product?
The convenience of being able to create and share Zoom meeting links allows me to stay organized and makes me look professional to my clients. I've previously used a competitor and didn't feel their format was as professional as Zoom.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that there is more than one way to create or start a meeting (to share with clients) is sometimes confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm working with voice actors who need to hear the work they do with me during our Zoom meetings after the meeting is complete in order to study what they're doing well and what needs improvement. So the recording feature is extremely beneficial for both my clients and me.
