Easy to Use and Effective without subscription
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, and I like the chat feature

Subscription should be more transparent.

Solves the problem of people not wanting to meet face to face
Zoom provides critical video conferencing infrastructure, with no bells and whistles
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom feels like the go-to option for video conferencing, so its popularity is a helpful in terms of familiarity and ease of use to make the connection with someone. Also, it feels simple to use and gets the job done
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of integration with other tools (e.g., Microsoft Office), or Slack feels like an opportunity to improve. Also, the user interface can be frustrating - on one hand, the Zoom control window always appears in a separate view when sharing the screen which adds confusion. Also, the default views for Zoom are not intuitive, and I wish I could easily minimize windows via the top right corner but instead I have to exit full screen mode.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business problem is a simple way to connect two parties via video conferencing. This is helpful when two people have different suites (for example, one team is Office based and the other Google based)

Zoom is easy to access, user friendly and provides plenty of ways to communicate during the meeting with peers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The time limits on free meeting is tough.

Zoom is solving ways to screen share safely to learn and improve the item you are learning about or discussing.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has literally changed the way I conduct my business. Being a realtor during the pandemic, I was faced with challenges when it came to connecting with my clients and zoom provides a seamless platform where I can connect with others without missing a beat.
What do you dislike about the product?
As much as zoom is great when it comes to connecting with others, it's still not as great as being in person and face-to-face.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No issues currently
Zoom is very user friendly and innvoative in the ever changing times!
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of access! Zoom makes calling, setting up meetings, and overall communication a breeze!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we didn't have the circumstances to need Zoom (COVID - 19) which made us unable to have the personal face-to-face connections, but Zoom helped reestablish that connection.

Communication in extenuating circumstances!
Great App
What do you like best about the product?
It is compatible with various devices. Easy to use for those who may not be technology savy. Easy to share content for presentations. Able to speak to people in a large range of locations.
What do you dislike about the product?
You have to have secure wifi to avoid freezing. When you disconnect and connect back to WIFI you lose your chat discussions. When people use their phones, you are not able to see person's name unless they change it themselves.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to meet with participants anywhere and at any time. Allows me to work from home and expands my working environment. Videos can be recorded and help with getting information to a wider audience.

I like that I am able to schedule on behalf of my boss.

I don't like that there has to be a waiting room for participants to enter the meeting when it's just an internal meeting.

Being able to work in a hybrid model of remote and in office
A great web conferencing solution!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Zoom makes web conferencing easy. We send out a link and everyone can join quickly and easily. I also love that there are features that let you do breakout rooms and hold surveys. It improves the engagement of people who are on the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only qualm with Zoom is that sometimes it will mute someone if they are talking at the same time as another person. It doesn't feel like a completely natural conversation when that happens.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most of our company is remote. Zoom allows us to all connect as a team. We hold weekly team meetings where the whole purpose of the meeting is connection. We discuss very little work and just get to meet as a team. Zoom helps us to facilitate this connection.
Essential tool for my business
What do you like best about the product?
That it allowed me to pursue my business online and create a community of like-minded people
What do you dislike about the product?
I found it a bit hard to figure out the share screen options at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Distance and scaling my business. I can attend seminars and workshops online and I use it for community calls and 1:1 sessions.
Effective communication tool that is always evolving
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Zoom, and why my company standardized on it is the quality of the video. Choppy video and sound can be distracting, especially in larger groups and having good quality meeting time is important.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some small quirks are annoying but not overly apparent. Things like video not stating when it should or vice versa. The other thing I dislike but have gotten used to is integration with OneDrive or Google Drive that MS Teams seems to do very well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is going a long way to help us work remotely both with telecommuting users that have started to stay home more often. And it has allowed us to expand the reach of our recruiting efforts. Some of the newer features of zoom like the collaborative whiteboards have enabled us to be more effective in virtual meetings.
