Positive Zoom Experience
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is pretty user-friendly, especially for people using a computer; screen sharing is great; the chat is also a very helpful tool!
What do you dislike about the product?
We work with many community members who do not have access to a computer and zoom can be more difficult to use on a smartphone and stay engaged during a meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our organization uses Zoom for weekly staff meeting since our team members live in different cities. Zoom also allows us to schedule appointment virtually with clients who are unable to travel to one of our offices for services.
The best video conference software- but not cheap!
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom overhaul has the best video quality and stability of any of the major video conference platforms that I've used. It's clean and easy
What do you dislike about the product?
It's definitely painful to have to buy a license for each user on my team, and sometimes the constraints around having only one meeting at a time can be painful. The security settings (eg, passcode vs not, new room for each meeting, etc) are also tricky to navigate
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use zoom mainly for customer-facing meetings (e.g., sales, customer success, partner support) to ensure that we are putting our best foot forward in a remote-first world
Ideal platform for connecting & conversing
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is simple to use whether scheduling as a host or logging in as a guest. The icons make it easy to share a screen and change views based on group size and dynamics.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing I dislike about zoom - it has always functioned well and I prefer it over webex. It might be nice to be able to set up a call as a host and assign a host before the call so they group can get started if the host is running late. Maybe this feature exists and I just have not found it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom continues to keep me connected with groups of people in multiple locations so we can stay focused on our goals. It is far more efficient to hold meetings via zoom than in person also.
Ease of use & commonly used
What do you like best about the product?
I like using Zoom because most of my professional network uses it -- so I don't have to worry about most folks not having the app to use (which isn't always the case for competitors like Microsoft Teams, Skype, etc.). The features are user-friendly, and have improved a lot over the last couple of years. I especially like that you can choose to automatically record specific Zoom meetings -- that way I don't forget to record important calls!
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't experienced too many issues with Zoom as of late. I do wish that it was easier/clearer in Chat feature to direct message individual participants (it's way too easy to send a DM to the entire chat accidentally.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is solving the problem of working remotely with distributed teams. I like that we can have a call AND create break-out rooms very easily -- it's one of my favorite features in Zoom that makes it more personal/interesting in a meeting.
Using Zoom for Business
What do you like best about the product?
Through the pandemic, Zoom was an easy to use tool for my team and for my clients. One of the best features was just simply the ease of use whether it was for technically adept people or people who struggle with technology.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main challenge I find with Zoom is whether recipients would use the Zoom link or opt to enter the call via the Google meets link that came attached. This created some confusion for users (but it's something easy to overcome).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has given both our company and our clients additional time efficiency. And while we may not use Zoom for 100% of our meetings (as we did during the height of the pandemic), many people have preferred to use Zoom for some of our meetings to reduce travel time and increase productivity.
Using Zoom for 1:1 Teaching and Meetings
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use for small groups and 1:1 teaching in my experience
What do you dislike about the product?
It's difficult to navigate the video views of larger groups - sometimes they are arranged in a way that I can't view the faces of the people I need to see
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to teach students across the United States virtually, broadening my clientele and practice.
It's great software that works wonderfully for group meetings
What do you like best about the product?
I like the relatively seamless way people can talk to one another, see one another, and share with one another.
Group projects and prayers can be very effective.
Group projects and prayers can be very effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
When streaming to YouTube or Facebook, the video quality is quite dull. It would be better to get HD video 1080 or above for streams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps our group together when members are home, due to weather or Covid fears. Teams can flawlessly share documents and ideas. Facial feedback is key!
Zoom is the Best Virtual Meeting Platform I've Used!
What do you like best about the product?
There is almost no learning curve to use Zoom. It is very user-friendly. It is easy to find the site to set up meetings and easy to access meetings using the invitation links.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the audio quality is not as good as it could be. May be how it interfaces with different computer equipment. There is always at least 1 participant that the groups cannot hear.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom makes coordinating multiple schedules and long-distance participation easier. The ability to record meetings makes it easy to confirm what was discussed and to capture parts you may have missed.
Zoom--still a wonderful place online to do meetings and grow your business!
What do you like best about the product?
It is accessible all over the world. I have clients from many countries. I love the recording feature as well because I can record trainings and repurpose them. I also think they have improved the sound quality greatly since a few years ago.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you get many people on at the same time without using headphones, you can get some cut out of sound. And sometimes bandwidth can be affected by many people in a meeting by using video. I wish there were better filters.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving two main issues. Being able to coach people around the world in real time. And being able to record training for YouTube and courses. It allows me to reach more people in my biz through the great features, and at a reasonable price.
Work a new way
What do you like best about the product?
It was easy to set up the link to send to everyone either via email or text. Placement on the calendar was sometimes a challenge but after a few tries was able to set it up.
What do you dislike about the product?
YOu have to have a business account to go beyond an hour and to record the proceedings, but not really something to complain about as they have to make money for the service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My board of directors travel with their jobs and personal lives and it makes it easy to reach the group at the specific time for meetings.
