Perfect platform for my weekly online class
What do you like best about the product?
During Covid my in person art class complete halt. During Covid my my in person art class completely came to a halt. He was thanks to zoom that I was able to continue teaching art online. Not only that I was also able to teach students that were outside of my own city. The zoom not only help me to continue my art class business and also expanded it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to be able to share images on chat. That way I can share inspirations and ideas for my art class when folks join the class. I still have to continue to do that on email or on phone chat which is not convenient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It lets me teach my art class from the comfort of my home. My students can also do the same. Zoom has expanded my art business to students outside of my city.
SOLID AND DEPENDABLE PRODUCT
What do you like best about the product?
I never have to worry that something will go wrong with the platform when I am using it to conduct business. I hold meetings and webinars where the attendees are less savvy with technology than I am. They find it easy as well - basically a click or two and they are in.
What do you dislike about the product?
Your tech support used to be very fast and helpful; not so much anymore. That said your support documents have improved over time and tech support is not needed as much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I run webinars using the meeting platform where I have experts teach career development professionals about new information and new techniques and tools. I could not do this without Zoom. Since so many of my colleagues use Zoom so the familiarity takes away the headache of helping people get into the room, use the chat feature, etc. The platform is inexpensive and accessible to many.
Effective business solution
What do you like best about the product?
Whether it was for business meetings during the pandemic or because distances are too great to make travel make sense, Zoom enables my firm to be face to face with a client, share screens, and discuss issues as if we were sitting in the same room. It has been an invaluable asset.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's annoying that I can't stay logged in. It would be helpful if I could add zoom meetings that I did not create to my calendar and one click join. It can be a little clunky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have saved a lot of time and a small fortune on travel!
Necessity for Larger Groups
What do you like best about the product?
We often have meetings with 10 or more people. I've used other services where the quality of the video and the sync get really bad with that many people. With Zoom it's always been very clear and even when someone has a poor connection the meeting doesn't get off track.
What do you dislike about the product?
Right now there isn't anything that I would say that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are an agency that has 10+ clients. While we use Google Workspace for our email and docs, Zoom has been our go to for reliable video meeting with clients. Connection is always good, video and sound are good, and presentations seem to work better than any other platform we've used.
Ease of use is Zoom's strength
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom was something that much of the world learnt how to use during the Covid 19 pandemic. And as a result, many businesses caught on too. The greatest strength for Zoom lies in it's simplicity of use. The interface is clean and it is easy to use the basics, such as changing backgrounds, and so on.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would suggest that the pricing for Zoom is a bit steep, especially for smaller businesses. That said, as long as the initiating party had a full license, the other parties can benefit from Zoom meetings of unlimited duration. Also, the more advanced features such as breakout rooms are not intuitive - either that or a better tutorial format is needed to educate people onto the greater features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In a period where most businesses have adjusted to employees having a balanced week of working from home and in-work days, Zoom, alongside Microsoft Teams are possibly the two greatest boons for meetings.
Zoom Saved my Sanity
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom surfaced at a time when having face-to-face contact with family and friends was important. In 2020 I opened a zoom account to be able to chat with my family, church, as well as to facility some meetings with my youth group.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations to zoom, not too many, that make facilitating a meeting a bit harder. I wish having a timer was easier to get. But since it isn't i've had to pivot but have still been able to continue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has provided the opportunity to bridge a gap for non-technology savvy persons. While in the middle of the pandemic, our church had to shut down. Zoom allowed for us to meet, see eachother and share content.
Very useful for One-on-One Education
What do you like best about the product?
There are a lot of controls and settings that allow each lesson to be tailored to the needs of individual students. The annotate tool is also useful for working on math and science problems that use syntax that can't be easily conveyed through plain text.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to my use of Zoom is the fact that the whiteboard does not support copy/paste images. To upload a problem to the board, you must first save it to your computer, then upload that image file. This adds unnecessary wait times to the lessons, especially during lessons involving many different practice problems. Other sites I have used allow copy/pasting, which is extremely useful for collaborating on math and science questions, which are very difficult to convey through plain text. The annotate tool is useful, but it has a very limited working area and the writings must be cleared each time a new problem is brought up, making it impossible to reference previous work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is one solution that fills the need to reach students that aren't able to meet face-to-face. It was amazingly useful during the pandemic, and it's still useful for working with remote students and those who are sick and/or immunocompromised and need to avoid unessecary contact.

What do you dislike about the product?
I used to use Google Meet for video conference needs and it was always problematic. Zoom is an infinitely better product that I rely on for my remote client work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a primarily remote agency, I depend on reliable video conferencing in order to get work done. Combined with the intuitive interface that makes it easy for myself and my clients to navigate, it's essential for my business.
a solid service
What do you like best about the product?
its integrations are very useful and it's a fairly reliable service. would love to see zoom take a page out of google meet's book more often and copy some of the features.
What do you dislike about the product?
zoom sometimes isn't the most user-friendly product out there—especially with the room configurations and how we see the different faces/screens throughout a call
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
zoom allows me to be a remote-first employee that doesn't need to go into a physical office all the time in order to be productive and land impact at my company
Great Features. Make Access Easier.
What do you like best about the product?
Sound quality is always good as is visual. There are numerous flexible features. I like the breakout rooms. I like that I can require a password when needed. I like that I can record and have a transcript.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is unclear if you can record all the breakout rooms. It seems tedious to access Zoom. I'd like access to be as easy as Google Meets - instant, no barriers - for most of my meetings. I would like the transcript to line up with the video so that I can search for text and find where it is in the video. If this exists, I'd like it at my fingertips.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborating and getting clear with clients regarding what is needed. Meeting efficiently and optimizing the fact that everyone on the call has access to multiple screens of information. Looking professional (and younger than I am - thank you for that filter). Creating online workshops with breakout groups for public meetings. We are able to effectively lead public meetings and dialogues about sensitive topics, including policy development. We are able to effectively present slides.
