Great way to have collaborative meetings without requiring everyone to be in the same space.

What do you like best about the product?
~Ability to meet collaboratively without being in the same location.
~Ability to share files/screens, etc. from a distance
~Ability to protect integrity of attendees with password or lobby area
What do you dislike about the product?
~Sometimes difficult to get everyone to either mute or keep their space quiet enough to not be a distraction
~Sometimes difficult to find the option you are looking for (allow people to share, etc.)
~Would be nice to allow people who have Zoom accounts to be co-leaders even if they aren't a paid user on our specific account. I.E. We have people who have accounts through employment elsewhere that we want to allow to run a meeting, but we can't invite them to co-lead unless they are a user from our account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
~Ability to allow people to meet without being all in the same space.
~Quick turn-around time to set up meetings and have people log on quickly
~Allows meetings to continue even if someone is out of town or quarantined.

What do you like best about the product?
How easy the platform is to use. Meetings are a breeze to schedule and participants can easily log on. We've never had quality and connection issues with Zoom itself.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some participants have struggled with getting Zoom updates installed on their browsers so that they can access the meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom helps us meet on a weekly basis to collaborate much more quickly than over email. It allows us to interview experts in our field.

What do you like best about the product?
I am able to connect with anyone across the globe. I use zoom daily on my laptop as well as my Mobile phone
What do you dislike about the product?
When people forget to turn off their microphone and you hear the background noise. I had an experience with multiple people unmuted at the same time and it caused an issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can connect with people and view their computer screens anytime. It solves the problems of meeting people across the globe

What do you like best about the product?
In my opinion, Zoom is user friendly, online support is relatively effective, I like the meeting recording options, how simple it is to get your recordings, and the storage format. I also love the breakout room function and how easy it is.

Mostly, the alternatives are horrible. Microsoft teams is pathetic and a disaster (really anything microsoft). Google meets is ok, Cisco and others are way behind the user experience of zoom.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think the billing information and the way the accounts/subscriptions are laid out are very easy to understand and follow. It's not too bad, but def could be better. I'd also like to see a wider offering or more options for the varying accounts/subscription fees.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I guess it's solving the user-friendly nature of these online meeting platforms. It's allowing me to deliver a variety of options, webinar-style versus more intimate meeting formats with people's screens on and breakout rooms.

I just think it's better than the competition, so that's why I like to use it and will continue to do so!

What do you like best about the product?
I worked for an organization that tried many different video call meeting platforms, and we chose Zoom in about 2017. Having a lot of experience with it, I recommended it to other groups and committees I worked with when the pandemic began. I have used it for classes, arts events, consultations and, of course, meetings. It is easy to give participants basic instructions (such as how to turn their mic on and off and rename themselves), and facilitators can choose from a variety of helpful features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally participants run into glitches, often because their wifi connection is unstable or they have a problem with their settings. It's fairly easy to learn to troubleshoot glitches and prevent security problems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Several of the groups, committees, and organizations I work with have participants across Canada, and one important one has some in the USA and one overseas. Zoom is how we discuss and plan together.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can admit people when I'm ready, have the ability to create breakout rooms, can present/share my screen, and also allow others to become a host or share their screen as well. There are many settings that allow me to customize my experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the connectivity is not the best, although it may be due to my and others' individual internet services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom solves my problem of how to deliver content in a group setting by presenting with everyone muted OR making the meeting discussion-based in an organized way be people raising their hand to speak. They can also contribute to the meetings through the and connect with each other personally through the chat.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is stable, smooth, and "it just works". It's easy to use additional features such as screen sharing, recording, etc. Great way to keep everyone on the same page and aligned in a remote environment. Also love Zoom Clips to capture short recorded video, been a lifesaver and much cheaper than Loom
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom's user interface, user experience can be improved. Nowadays, people typically know how to use Zoom, but it's still not very intuitive for someone coming into the software new. It's expensive and there was an outage a while back
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is helping us solve the video conferencing problem and that benefits us by allowing us to communicate clearly and easily with remote team members, customers, and partners.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use & the fact that it is user-friendly to non-tech people (Luddites).
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no complaints about Zoom! It is always reliable & there when you need it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have all our board meetings with Zoom & it has been a lifesaver the past few years! We are more productive in our meetings & they are run much more smoothly via Zoom!

The most reliable for group programming

What do you like best about the product?
I have used Zoom for online live course delivery since 2015 and have found it to be the most reliable - I don't have to fear having to spend time on tech troubleshooting that detracts from getting started with group sessions.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is definitely a learning curve with setting up live courses on Zoom and figuring out which features are best for your purposes (and how to find them), but this is inevitable with any service. I think some of the features could be displayed in more intuitive places. I find I have to teach the same basic features to new clients repeatedly (i.e. how to blur their background, etc.), which tells me that they are housed in awkward places where even tech-savvy people have difficulty.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work with people from all corners of the globe and Zoom is the standard for live meetings. I know it works in almost any area of the world.
