Surprisingly good
What do you like best about the product?
I find the breakout toom features to be one of the most useful features of Zoom. We provide technical support via Zoom, and having breakout rooms to deal with simultaneous visitors is really useful
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great to have the auto-update feature switched on by default. I find that a lot of people solve their issues with Zoom once they update to the latest verion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom helps us to quickly connect with our end users. Without this, we would have to revert to physical phones and remote screen-sharing software. It makes my job a lot easier and more convenient
Zoom is an easy to use platform for virtual meetings.
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to learn and use for anyone. The options you create breakout rooms, share screens, and chat are great
What do you dislike about the product?
It can have issues hosting very large meetings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom makes it easy for virtual meetings so we can see people from out of town on a meeting or just to meet with a large group that we don't have the physical meeting space for.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is helpful to work virtaully anywhere and everywhere. I appreciate that it was a software that we could use during COVID. I enjoy that is brings large groups of people from all over the conversation.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be tough to have a conversation with many people because multiple people can not speak at the same time. I am not sure how this could be better, but that does make a difference from a virtual conversation to a phone call or in person.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom assists as a platform to host webinars which is helpful as you can give a presentation to many people at once. This is benefiting me because as I create webinars, I know that I can use Zoom.
Great for sharing screen and presentations in general
What do you like best about the product?
I like that participants can interact with the presentation/meeting using reaction emojis. It's also helpful to have a fullscreen when sharing screen, rather than having the participants on the side of the screen, it makes it hard to view the presentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Oftentimes, if you do not have a very strong internet connection, the video and audio freeze up. So it requires a very strong and consistent internet connection for every single meeting, which is hard when you have so many people working remotely, traveling, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's easy to connect with people wherever they are in the world to have a quick sync. We have zoom integrated with slack, so we can hop on a call with a colleague just by sending a quick invite.
Zoom has transformed our training opportunities
What do you like best about the product?
Since the pandemic pushed all of us to present programs online, Zoom has helped us transform our training programs. As we learned more and Zoom enhanced its offerings, we have been able to offer programs nationally and internationally. We can provide chat options and break into small groups. We can provide closed captioning to make our programs more accessible. We also appreciate the options for different privacy options for participants.
What do you dislike about the product?
People are definitely "Zoomed out" so you have to find ways to get people to engage in your meetings and programs. This has more to do with remote learning and working than with zoom itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are still operating all meetings and programs virtually. Zoom enables us to make our programs more accessible to people who aren't local or for whom traveling to a training affects their ability to attend. Closed captioning also makes our programs more accessible.
Great Resource
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of scheduling Zoom meetings. It doesn’t require a high degree of technology expertise.
What do you dislike about the product?
After updates the platform ca be finicky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom minimizes the need for in-person meetings but i ls great for impromptu meetings where face to face helps facilitate things. Seeing expressions can be helpful even when spoken words aren't communicated.
Smooth and stable experience
What do you like best about the product?
I like the remote control access the best. I use it with participants and it helps to mimic an in-person brainstorming experience. I also like the waiting room aspect, it helps to manage traffic.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that there are so many different levels of offering/subscription models.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me run online brainstorming sessions. It's very hard to do this on Google Meet. I also like having my own Zoom Room, this helps to manage different projects and have a designated place to run research.
Zoom is a great way to connect both internally and externally in my organization.
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part of Zoom is how easy it is to set up. When setting up meetings with older contacts, the user-friendly nature of Zoom is incredibly useful when walking them through the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
My least favorite part about Zoom is how easily affected by wifi fluctuations it can be. While turning off the camera can help stabilize the connection, it still seems to be internet-intensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is solving the difficulties in connecting that come with remote work. Whether a monthly board meeting or setting up a meeting with clients, Zoom is universal and an excellent alternative to phone calls.
Easy to use and communicate virtually
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use, there is a way for any person (technically inclined or not) to access Zoom.
What do you dislike about the product?
People talking over one another, the raised hand feature is nice but there should be more options especially with larger groups, maybe a queue of speakers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meeting with people virtually as most of our company has moved to a hybrid workspace. It has made communication lightyears better.
Makes work and personal life easier
What do you like best about the product?
The interface of Zoom is incredibly easy to use for video chatting and screen sharing. I enjoy being able to easily share my screen so others I am collaborating with can see what I am.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the chat feature were a bit more robust. Sometimes it is hard to manage a chat, especially if many different people are all actively trying to talk at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom creates an easy, intuitive way for people to meet and work together remotely while still feeling a sense of connection that can be missed when meeting virtually.
