Zooming for Work!
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is easy to use and enjoys almost universal acceptance among business users. Everyone knows Zoom and has used it at some point. It is the default video conferencing application.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times when Zoom has audio issues connecting to another device other than computer speakers. An example would be a computer's link to a larger TV display that uses the TV speakers rather than the computer outputs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom allows us to meet over long distances or when we can't be in the same room together. Also, it functions as a backup when someone is late or can't make a meeting for some reason.
Zoom provides an easy to use platform from large to one-on-one webinars and screen sharing.
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is easy to schedule, easy for participants to enter, and easy to share documents via screen share.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like to have better control over my screen view (i.e,. where I place the document and where I place the gallery of people). also, there needs to be better consistency across platforms -- particularly when working with folks unfamiliar with zoom, if I'm on a PC and I tell them to look in the upper right corner for a button labeled "x", but they can't find it because they are on a tablet and it is in the bottom left with a different label, it becomes very frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom allows us to connect with clients and prospects, as well as teammates, and share and walk through documents as though we were in the same room together.
Always reliable
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the background noise settings. Sometimes I present in loud ambient spaces. I also appreciate all the different share screen options, along with a whole host of plug-ins to add on.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish some of the settings were better accessible from the video screen instead of going to the main window to get to the settings. I also would prefer better integration into other platforms. I find, my systems are always trying to tie into Teams, but I only use Zoom. Otherwise, love working with zoom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to reduce the amount of driving I need to do to accomplish my job. I have saved hundreds of work/personal hours by switching to zoom. Honestly, I can't imagine going back to the old way of doing my business.
Good Zoom Experience, Sometimes Laggy
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is simple to use and is really user friendly. I appreciate the ease, the ability to record, have multiple people on, and the new access to applicatons that you can integrate. Its fun, fast, and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom has an issue where it constantly lags. Its super expensive if you want to buy space for hosting your recordings. It also gets glitchy, usually the camera is super blurry, and there is no way to go live on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Well with COVID I am sure its helping a ton of people. For me, I am able to do all of my interviews, meetings, and webinars all from the comfort of my home. All of my employees are also remote because we can check in per Zoom.
Zoom provides an excellent experience for digital meetings
What do you like best about the product?
I like Zoom's capabilities far more than other meeting platforms. It is my preferred online meeting host. They make it so easy to share audio, video, change your background, etc., which are all things we use very frequently as we are a marketing/creative agency with frequent client meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom sometimes freezes and quits when I try to screen share. That is a gripe I have which I am hoping they address soon. Other than this issue, I have very few issues with Zoom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom helps make my meetings run smoothly and efficiently. They have the capabilities I need; as in-person meetings aren't possible with clients half-way across the country, I'm able to create an experience that feels a little more "personal" than other online meeting platforms can.
Zoom - Vital to Success in Today's World
What do you like best about the product?
Relatively easy to set up video/audio meetings with clients or prospects who do not have the time to meet in person or spend the money on gas to do so. Zoom is much more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I always like to be able to talk with a live human being if things go awry or if I need more information. This is an area you could improve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recording our client meetings.
Solid tool for conferencing and collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use and most people already have it installed and are familiar with its operation
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no way to participate silently. For a supervisor to sit in and audit a meeting it's sometimes good to be able to be hidden.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has become so common most of my communications now take place in Zoom. Zoom is great to be able to have a meeting and then when it's done still be sitting right at my desk ready to move on to the next task.
Consistent and Reliable
What do you like best about the product?
I like how user-friendly it is. I find that nearly anyone can be successful when using it. I also like the features it has come out with (e.g., breakout rooms, polls, waiting room).
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it tricky that people need to download an app to their phone or computer to use it. That is a stumbling block for some people. I also have trouble turning the virtual background on my computer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The waiting room helps me manage multiple clients on the same call. Some try to join while I am still finishing up with another client and the waiting room keeps them from interuppting me.
A really great experience
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use. The desktop and the app on my phone both works great. I rarely have issues. Plus it's something that everyone is familiar with and I don't have to troubleshoot with clients
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally things are spotty. Even when my Internet is good. But I feel like that is a small price to pay for such a great service. I wish that the process of sharing recordings was easier. And That deleting old recordings was easier

Zoom makes it easy to connect with my clients all around the world.
The ubiquity of Zoom
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is so commonly used these days, it feels almost like a utility--as commonplace as the telephone. I have used Zoom for teaching workshops, attending therapy sessions, talking with friends and loved ones, having conference calls with artistic colleagues in multiple locations & time-zones, meeting with fellow activists, and more. While there may be other platforms that do essentially the same thing, Zoom is ubiquitous amongst so many members of my community that it makes it hard for me to contemplate switching over to another one.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, sound can be a challenge with Zoom. For example, if a group of people are singing, the mic will pick up the "loudest voice", rather than activate all of them into a chorus. Not everyone´s devices have the same kinds of mics, so one member of a group call may sound faint, while another sounds "too loud".
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I feel like the Zoom technology has gotten a lot stronger in the past 2.5 years that I have been using it, with the kinds of tools and resources available online seeming increasingly intuitive and easy to navigate. I can´t think of any obstacles that I´ve faced more than very rarely with the platform.
