Great Product

  • August 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use, i have never had audio issues with Zoom as i do with other providers, the integration with Outlook is seamless and it appears to be universally liked.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not great on a mobile device which is annoying when trying to take a zoom call on the road but not a deal breaker for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It negates having to travel to see customers every month, now i can travel every quarter which is a bonus.

A meditation on wireless communication at great distances

  • August 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Consistently high video and sound quality. Easily works with existing process / calendar. I like the meeting reminder and how easily it integrates with google calendar and calendly
What do you dislike about the product?
Tools to help teams collaborate are still lacking. I want to be able to do everything I want within the Zoom platform, not use third party stuff. Ideal would be more white boarding and other team brainstorming tools
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How to work with people remotely. Most of my team is spread out around the world. It's way better than doing actual phone calls especially when you need to review documents and slides

Generally Zoom has been reliable and effective for meetings and groups.

What do you like best about the product?
The calendar and scheduling module and the recurring element for series and classes. Carrying the same link for several months simplifies access for participants.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times links don't work or some participants get different replies when they try to log in. Sometimes it takes several tires when the first attempt does not connect properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to connect with colleagues quickly and in a more personal way than a conference call. This helps our team be better connected and on the same page when we meet in person and engage in activities.

Zooming Five Days A Week

  • August 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Both of my businesses use Zoom. Consulting with PR clients! And teaching fitness/yoga/meditation classes! Five days a week! It is reliable and I feel blessed to have this platform for all my work ventures. (And I sometimes use it for family/friends video chats... another blessing of Zoom)!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I can think of is perhaps easier for music/sound work as it is often a challenge (for me anyway) to get ideal sound when using my harmonium, piano, and sound healing bowls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting and working no matter where I am! No matter where they are! An easy-to-use format. My husband even had a chat with his 100-year-old aunt on Zoom last week.

Easy-to-use and universally understood platform for digital meetings

  • August 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Unlike other platforms, like Facebook Meetings Rooms, Zoom has created an easy-to-use platform for companies, small businesses, and individuals to conduct meetings with the necessary features for an optimal experience. The ability to mute users, share emojis, raise a hand, share in a chat, and call in if necessary, all contribute to a more powerful and realistic meeting experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was easier to bookmark Zoom invites, and host webinars. There are also some instances- like today- where someone was able to get into the presenter's powerpoint and modify things in real-time, which the presenter was not doing. I also think that Zoom would be wise to start investigating how it can solve for the body dysmorphia that has dramatically increased, since people are using the platform more consistently and staring at themselves all day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom solves the challenge of distance, especially in a post-COVID world. It allows us to easily connect multiple people together across long distances, and host presentations without fancy software. It's intuitive and easy-to-use, even for those who are averse to technology.

Most consistent video platform for a WFH lifestyle

  • August 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom provides the best quality video calls with the fewest encountered problems (audio issues on either end being the most common on other platforms). It is easy to share your screen and send messages through the chat. There is a HIPAA compliant option for a reasonable price.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the free version could include a BAA and have longer meetings. It was a hard decision to use zoom when there are free platforms out there. It would also be helpful if you could view chats after a meeting in your personal meeting room, ideally with an ongoing log for each individual participant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before deciding to pay for zoom, I had problems with each free option available - poor video quality, audio connecting and disconnecting, everything freezing, complicated methods of joining meetings and therefore having to have multiple platforms to meet all of my client's needs. Now they are all in one place!

Reliable, company seems intent on providing safe and dependable comms

  • August 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
That I can start a meeting in seconds and have a lot of participants with almost no work depending on the host options I have set. I have not really used other competitor's products, because Zoom works very well for my needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The options available to a host are almost overwhelming. That however has not stopped me and my crowd from using Zoom several days a week. I am pretty sure there is a PDF of how to use Zoom effectively depending on objective; I will look for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem is transit time and the effort required just to get to a meeting. These have evaporated with Zoom's functionality, and I find Zoom meetings at least as productive as in person meetings.

Good experience

  • August 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Useful and easy to use for business and nonprofit meetings. Many features that I do not always use and do not need to use in order to do what I must do. Easier to use than some others.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally has not worked but that has not happened in awhile. Once needed help with a billing error and it took months to fix. But it was fixed. Would like to be abie to add more authorized users to the account without multiplying the fee by the number of authorized users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mandatory for meetings in the early days of the pandemic. Still heavily used. prayer groups and some training and volunteer meetings still on Zoom. Many people prefer not to travel.

Cannot succeed without Zoom

  • August 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I work for a fully remote company. We are 100% reliant on Zoom for our business. We use it for all of our internal meetings, as well as for all of our client meetings. It is easy to use, works globally, and is reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom itself, but especially the share screen function slows down my computer tremendously. This can get in the way of presentations, which affects professionalism and efficiency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are reliant on Zoom. Because of Zoom, we are enabled to be a fully remote company with employees and clients all over the world. We use Zoom for internal meetings, client meetings, and even for virtual employee engagement activities (office Olympics!).

Zoom isn't flawless, but it's way better than the alternatives

  • August 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is very easy to use, and virtually everyone knows how to use it. I use Zoom to communicate with people around the United States and around the world, and I have yet to meet anyone who doesn't have experience with it. Even first-time users can get connected. Once the pandemic hit, Zoom was forced to increase their footprint and capabilities, which they did, in my view, as capably as they could have been expected to under the circumstances.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not a lot of things I dislike about Zoom, probably because I, like the rest of the world, was forced to adopt the application for much of my work. My main downside is relatively minor: their background features and usability seems to lag behind what is possible in Microsoft Teams. (However, there is nothing else about Teams that is even close to being as good as Zoom.) Another minor issue I have occurs when I schedule a meeting on my iPhone. I cannot get Zoom to put the meeting onto my Outlook calendar (my primary calendar app)—it puts the meeting on my iOS calendar instead. My iMac will put the Zoom meeting into Outlook, however.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Like many people, I have the need for meetings that are one-offs; these are straightforward and easy for Zoom. The more challenging meetings are ones that are scheduled monthly across multiple time zones or the ones that may be one-offs, but are international. I have found that Zoom allows each attendee to clearly see the time of a meeting in their own time zone—whether in the states or worldwide. Also, I teach a monthly leadership seminar to a group of people and find the breakouts feature to be quite robust and user-friendly. This is of great benefit for eliciting rich discussions.
