What do you like best about the product?
I like that Zoom is easy to use and doesn't require a large (or any) download of software. That's a problem our participants have with Team, and some can't use Team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sharing documents to the screen is slow. And sometimes, having other participants share doesn't work -- although that has improved a lot. I wish that it could produce a transcript like Teams does, so that it would be easier to share and/or write Minutes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was critical during pre-vaccine Covid, and now it helps when its too hard to schedule everyone to travel and attend a meeting. Attendance is up since people can join remotely.
Best Video Conferencing Software
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is a very sophisticated video conferencing system that has a lot of great features. Zoom is very user-friendly and easy to navigate around. I like that Zoom has a phone app too which allows me to have meetings everywhere. I use Zoom both internally and externally with clients. I like the whiteboard feature where the team can collaborate. We often exchange ideas and comments there. The sticky notes help with categorizing information in real-time. When doing meetings/training with clients, I like the ability to manage the participants, and a chat box is a great place for questions. It is a great place for me to send links and reference materials.
What do you dislike about the product?
I often record the Zoom meetings for future reference. I found that the recording takes up a lot of space on my hard drive. But Zoom does offer 5GB of Cloud recording storage which is convenient. In the chat box, it would be good to have the feature to tag somebody during a group meeting so it could notify that person right away.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom had allowed our firm to move to a hybrid in-office/remote working environment because we can always connect with the team by conducting video meetings. We also do a lot of screen-sharing for training for both internal employees and clients. This saved us a lot of time vs. in-person training. The recording is always helpful for people that missed the meetings.
Solidly helpful
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the ability to screenshare so I can do slideshows, and the addition of sound so I can show videos, add co-hosts, change names (for my students who put in goofy names, and for their parents who can't figure out how to put their name in).
I'm grateful for the addition of pronouns.

What do you dislike about the product?
The limitations on the mobile app are very frustrating (i.e. cannot add co-hosts, hard to see lots of things, etc.). A deep dive into improving that mobile app would be money well spent!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While I personally haven't been misgendered, several members of our team have really appreciated the addition of pronouns. Additionally, the backgrounds help some folks feel more comfortable.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is very user friendly especially for impromptu meetings and setting up webinars. It's very intuitive and makes my life simpler.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if a calendar invite was automatically created for guests.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I teach contractors how to build successful businesses. When we were struck by COVID 19, Zoom created the best environment for teaching and learning. We didn't skip a beat. We now continue to use Zoom as it provides for greater outreach and we can include more people without leaving my home.
Zoom has been extremely essential to my work and work-related activities, as well as personal life.
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Zoom is how easy it is to record meetings. This is so helpful because I have friends who I interview for a podcast and we are able to use the Zoom recordings for episodes!
What do you dislike about the product?
I get stressed out sometimes when there needs to be an update. If I don't know about it beforehand, it can cause delays when I enter a meeting. I also wish it was more affordable for someone to buy a premium account for personal use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is always getting more user friendly, which is important to me and my colleagues. I work with students, too and always want them to be able to use the app easily.
Reliable with lots of features
What do you like best about the product?
It's very reliable and gives you the ability to screen share.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I invite others to the meeting, it usually takes 2-3 minutes for them to receive the email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to work remotely and still stay connected and do pretty much everything I could do if I was physically in the office.
Best Video Conferencing Available
What do you like best about the product?
Great connection and video quality. Most people these days choose Zoom and do not use other platforms (Google, Teams, etc). The older generation got used to Zoom and it makes using Zoom for business a no-brainer!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Zoom can be challenging, especially for older people. At this point, many people know how to use Zoom and it is their go-to, but getting acclimated can be challenging for some.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to have virtual meetings. This is great to be able to meet with people who are not located nearby, was helpful during the heights of COVID spreading, and allows me to optimize my time at work being able to schedule back-to-back meetings.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of clicking the join button and being taken directly to my meeting. I also like getting an email notifying me that my meeting participants have checked into zoom
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside is that I can't see other people in the meeting when I share my screen and they can't see my face. I'd like to see their reactions and facial expressions as I'm describing the document on the screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working virtually through zoom I can record meetings to share with people who can't attend the meeting. I am more productive because I can jump from one meeting to the next easily
Very effective tool
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is pretty intuitive once you follow the 1st few tutorials on YouTube. I also find it to be stable and reliable, technically speaking.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the virtual backgrounds are still pretty weak. I also don't appreciate the default requirements for passwords or other attempts at security help. I can handle those settings on my own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The primary value add of zoom is access to my events, by people essentially anywhere, and the ease of recording events. This is a huge help versus trying to get people into a room at the same time and place.

I believe that Zoom is the easiest of the meeting platforms to navigate and use for users of all levels.

The sharing screen could be easier to use.

It's helping our organization with remote meetings and classes. This allows us to expand our coverage area and reach.
