Why wouldn't you use Zoom?
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is user friendly, and has many tutorials and tools to help you maneuver in the virtual meeting world. I haven't yet discovered all of its capabilities!
What do you dislike about the product?
As with any new learning, one has to build time and practice to learn the features. It might seem overwhelming at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The basic benefit is that Zoom can be used for business meetings, classes, or informal meetings.
I love the features but especially that I can do amazing things with the green screen

The fact I can use green screens and make my sessions and trainings engaging and immersive.
What do you dislike about the product?
In Zoom meetings, I do NOT like the fact that the chat box and attendees are in floating boxes. I soo soooo wish it was docked like in webinar format. As a host it's hard presenting/sharing your screen and having to move the windows around. I also can't play music on the screen and answer questions in chat at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do like the new whiteboard feature since my trainings are very experienial and I love the filters.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is very user-friendly and easy for clients to log in and use as well. Great for group meetings as well as sharing your screen to better educate clients as you work with them.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that I do not like about Zoom is the price for the first tier of use. I feel that $149 is a higher price than needs to be. The free option is great for up to 45 minutes, would be great to maybe have a limit of 1 and a half hours for maybe $69.99/year.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping me solve ways to better communicate with both clients on a regular basis, as well as other staff within our company to keep everyone on the same page.
Zoom has become an indispensable part of our business.
What do you like best about the product?
Our team is 100% remote, so Zoom has become increasingly important for us over the past couple of years. We used to come together 2x/month in person but now we meet exclusively on Zoom; it's enabled our team members to stay connected even if they're working farther afield.
What do you dislike about the product?
The costs have gone up recently, making the free plans less usable for everyday use. Our small nonprofit org has two professional accounts and that's about all we can afford right now; better discounts for nonprofits would enable us to use Zoom more often and with greater impact.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We regularly meet with colleagues throughout our region and with potential clients and sponsors throughout the region and beyond. Zoom has enabled us to meet face to face in a way that is both time-efficient and safe.

What do you like best about the product?
I have the paid version and I like that I can record my meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have the paid version and I like that I can record my zoom meetings for future reference.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am largely a home based nonprofit and so using zoom to speak with business owners and record videos to posts elsewhere later on is very beneficial for me.
I've benefited from Zoom greatly over the last few years.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the option to blur my background and the breakout rooms are amazing. I love being able to hold different conversations in the virtual spaces and let people have a part of privacy in virtual spaces.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest challenge with Zoom is a problem that I haven't noticed as much lately. It used to have challenges with crashing and had some interesting security needs at first, but I haven't noticed that in a while.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is allowing me the ability to meet with people for a low overhead cost for me. It makes me more productive and allows me to offer a service I might be otherwise unable to provide as regularly.
I've had very few issues with Zoom.
What do you like best about the product?
I love how dependable it is. I love the desktop reminders and the ease of copying invites.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an easier way to save the recording to a Google drive other than downloading and then reuploading. The Gmail plug-in on the calendar is terrible too, and has totally screwed me up by deleting calls. Sometimes, scheduling from the app/site can put the entry as "now" and then the call is expired when it actually happens. Also, randomly we get a "the host is not allowing unmute" but I am the host and there are no other hosts on the call. Other users are unmuted fine. It seems random, though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to record calls, present well, and have recurring plans. It's a solid platform and is dependable.

It is easy to schedule with other people and it is very stable across platforms

The interface is not very intuitive and doesn't allow me to share files or project as other communication platforms do

I wouldn't know. I never had a problem with Zoom per se. Overall it fulfill my expectations

What do you dislike about the product?
Mobile app scheduling vs. Computer scheduling. Mobile app is not as easy to schedule a meeting.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I was unable to travel, this was the best solution, which has continued; thereby helping my bottom line with less travel expense.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use is hands down the best thing about Zoom. The ability to setup meetings, invite as many as needed, and carry out the meeting with ease and simplicity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly cannot think of very many of any dislikes. It could be because of my Zoom use, mostly for one-on-one meetings. I guess the only thing I might say is that the meetings links can get lost in the shuffle sometimes?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I believe that solved the "problem" of getting multiple people together at the same time, on a certain date. The scheduling of meetings has always been a bit of a pain, but Zoom has worked to ease that burden.
