zoom for two or more opens the door
What do you like best about the product?
zoom allows its users (with adequate bandwidth) to share ideas, documents, learning experiences, as well as very engaging human contact. I have used zoom, professionally as a media consultant, as an instructor and have used it with a great degree of satisfaction in a range of interpersonal recreational experiences.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fee if reduced would greatly broaden its installed base. It would result in broader reach into an expanding potential market, and ultimately it could rival TV and conventional websites as a platform for commerce.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It facilitated and provided an alternative to other COMMUNICATION PLATFORMS, LIKE (SKYPE/WEBEX) I have used it in both my WEB MARKETING CONSULTING, VIDEO PRODUCTION Business and I have used it communicating with Colleagues across the GLOBE. I regularly communicate with Asia, Africa, Europe, the UK and all three of the Americas.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is intuitive to use and, though many other video conferencing platforms offer the same features, Zoom is the most seamless application. It's not over-complicated or unclear.
What do you dislike about the product?
Secondary features can be hard to master without looking deep into the help files, so accessing features like break-out groups can require some research. It's also sometimes tough to tell which level of Zoom purchase offers which features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom allows me to do one-on-one meetings in a more personal way than even meeting in person might. When you are on Zoom, you are there for one exclusive purpose.
An excellent platform for video conferencing, but could use improvement for music teaching purposes.
What do you like best about the product?
It provides a way for me to teach music to a student anywhere. The recording options are great, as they allow me to host recitals bi-annually with students, their families, and their friends.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most of the time, it is very difficult, if not impossible, to keep musical timing between my students and myself. Often I either have to endure the lag or mute myself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom solved the problem of sanitary instruction when the pandemic hit its peak in the Spring of 2020. It benefitted me by allowing me to retain many of my clients.

What do you like best about the product?
I have the same link and I have to admit each client which protects against someone accidentally breaking into a session. A few people had their time wrong. I could text them their correct time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I provide therapy by Zoom. Especially when it is couples therapy or family therapy I lose some information especially when they are only using one device ( one camera) on their end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can see people who can't or won't come in due to time, health, or when two or more people are in different locations. Sometimes people forget their appointments. Zoom has allowed me to contact a person who is late and still connect over Zoom most of the time rather than waste an appointment time.

the simplicity of setting up a meeting for myself & others & sending the invite to those people

The delay around people speaking, or the cutting off of someone, when another person starts speaking

creating that "face to face" experience that you do not get over the phone, and creating that perception you are there with a client
Zoom for Virtual Music Therapy
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Zoom allows me to see my clients across state lines with little to no technical difficulties, is HIPAA compliant, and makes therapy accessible. The sound quality and screen sharing are optimal through Zoom as well and has the most features for audio out of any video conference app.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times connectivity is a major issue for clients using phones or tablets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom helps me solve accessibility issues and makes rescheduling easy if a client is not able to make an in-person session.
Zoom Puts Us In the Room
What do you like best about the product?
One of the biggest challenges in our work in the past was related to costly travel and meeting hosting. Zoom gives us the opportunity to get into the room with stakeholders and levels the playing field.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are really no significant challenges to the Zoom platform, it works the way it's supposed to, when we need it to. If there is a delay in logging in it will usually be related to the loading of updates, but we appreciate that security on the platform is important to the developers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For Indigenous governments, capacity is always an issue. There are never enough funds to do all the work and take all the meetings that need to happen. Zoom has made meeting with business and government executives in the cities available to Indigenous communities, no matter how rural and remote. That has been a game changer for advancing Indigenous rights.
My Zoom Experience
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Zoom is user-friendly for non-techies like myself, and has the ability to record the meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the early days of the pandemic, I was a rookie user and did not understand the difference btwn being made a co-host vs. joining another person's Zoom account. I accidentally accepted such an invitation and NEVER heard back from customer support regarding my mistake. Because we're a job club, we had to create a separate account to ensure we weren't swallowed up by the other account. Fortunately, Zoom was so inundated (inept?) at that time, our account wasn't swallowed up after all. The panic, however, was real since we meet weekly over Zoom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom became an overnight lifesaver for our small job club in Austin, TX. We went from meeting weekly in person to meeting over Zoom almost overnight March 2020. Because of Zoom, we have been able to book speakers from other areas of the country and the globe.
User friendly software for virtual meetings and fundraisers
What do you like best about the product?
I was nervous when my company first started using Zoom. It is now the norm for our virtual meetings! It is so easy to use, the screen sharing is easy to learn for sharing documents and videos.
We even used Zoom rooms for a trivia event without any issues. It is very user friendly, and you can highlight/spotlight speakers if you want someone to stand out.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like using Zoom if some of the meeting is live and some members are virtual. There is a lag time and if there is background noise it can cause problems. This is not necessarily a Zoom issue but the lag time and connectivity issues can cause problems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has been a life saver during the pandemic. It was easy to have committee and staff meetings while still keeping people distant. We did a virtual trivia night fundraiser and were able to have people from 13 different states on Zoom at the same time. These people would not have attended an in person event.
We even did a virtual yoga class and virtual concert fundraisers on Zoom.
Even in difficult fundraisng times, where donors weren't always willing to join for in person meetings, they are most of the time wiling to jump on a zoom call. It has saved us travel time and we still raised money during the pandemic!

Zoom Video Conferencing
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has been very helpful in screen sharing with multiple people.
What do you dislike about the product?
After screen sharing from a computer, the meeting controls are on a separate tab that I can't get to, so it's hard to stop screen sharing mode.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has the ability to connect remote and in person team members together in the same meeting.
