I use Zoom regularly and have not found a better platform.
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is very intuitive. Zoom is widely used so many people already know how to use it. I like that it is available for both desk top and mobile devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some government offices will not use Zoom, so when they are setting up the meeting, I have to learn to use another system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
During the pandemic it allowed our team to continue to communicate internally. We hosted 2 virtual luncheons through Zoom. Now that more meetings are back in person Zoom still allows a hybrid meeting in case someone is far away or for some other reason is unable to make the meeting in-person.
Good Solid Platform with no Performance Issues
What do you like best about the product?
First, it is so simple to use. Second, it has all of the necessary tools to host a productive business meeting. We work with a senior population and it makes it easy to interact with those who are technology challenged.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's difficult to sign on with a repetitive password for multiple meetings but it doesn't happen very often. Overall, the platform works and performs very well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us reach out to our followers in an easy and simple way. With our senior population, it makes them feel comfortable at meetings and allows them the freedom to watch the recorded videos at their convenience.
Zoom works great when you need 1080 P video conferences
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom works with 1080P resolution, supports NDI so the video and audio latency is super low, supports long (4+ hour) videos, and works well with OBS studio. It meets our needs for customer training sessions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how it'll log you out automatically if there is no activity for a certain period of time, such as when a meeting takes a break.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves us a lot of time and money compared to traveling, staying in a hotel, and going out to dinner, all for a meeting. Now we can stay in the office and accomplish the same thing without going anywhere.
Excellent platform for distance communication
What do you like best about the product?
The connection speed is excellent. Platform is fairly easy to navigate.

Extra settings are required to share video/audio files.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is solving distance and logistical barriers to help me help others with their mental health.
Loving living in a zoom world
What do you like best about the product?
Not a lot of good came from covid, but living in a zoom world is one of the exceptions. I love that we can now meet with people all over the world without traveling, and everyone understands that it's a doable thing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Technology can be glitchy, and zoom is not the exeption. Glitches happen, and when they do it definitely impacts the quality of the experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to meet with clients, team members, and potential clients all over the world from my own front room.
Reliable and the free version is great!
What do you like best about the product?
I currently subscibe to zoom and use it as a free/basic user. I am shocked at how feature-rich the free version is. I can screen share, create scheduled meetings and many more features.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a basic/free zoom user the largest issue i have is with the 40-minute maximum for meetings. If this could be pushed to an hour it would be a huge help as many meetings are scheduled for that length.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working in a remote company we need to have many meetings and zoom allows us to do this productively. Its easy to add to G-cal and integrates with many other softwares.
New Normal
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy Zoom just as much professionally as I did personally. Zoom has made collaboratively working a lot more fun over the years. Allowing workers to be mobile yet still accessible face to face is really awesome!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how I have to copy the invite to add to the calendar when I'm using a desktop it should be a way to send a notification much simpler; similiar to Google Meet option.

What do you like best about the product?
I started using Zoom on Oct. 19 in coaching with 4 people far enough away that even meeting 1/2 way would have been prohibitive. Zoom was easy and very private.
What do you dislike about the product?
No fault of Zoom but slower internet connections just suck.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
During the pandemic, Zoom was a game changer that proved to be the tool we didn't know we needed! Now I cannot imagine doing local board meetings or regional meetings without the option of Zoom.

What I like best is the convenience and ease of using Zoom

What I dislike is that we have issues when the weather turns bad.

Zoom is solving communication problems for my organization. That is beneficial because it makes it easy to have a reliable means of communicating for everyone in our organization.
Great features for remote work
What do you like best about the product?
They are always adding new features that make it easier to meet with remote teams for regular meetings and workshops. I love how easy it is to share screens and move between other applications I have open.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was more intuitive or easy to see folks when sharing screens. Sometimes I lose the app and am not sure how to find it or the controls. I also want to always see the people I am presenting to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote work is challenging and meetings can be difficult to keep on track. New whiteboarding features and the speed at which zoom works on mobile makes it easier to work with a team remotely.
