Flexible and Collaborative with Excellent Transcription

  • December 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is very flexible for day-to-day work: it handles quick ad-hoc calls and larger scheduled meetings smoothly. Joining is simple across desktop and mobile, and switching devices mid-call is usually painless. It’s also reliable for remote/hybrid setups, with solid options for waiting rooms, breakout rooms, and meeting controls that make it easy to adapt to different meeting formats (client calls, team standups, trainings, etc.).
What do you dislike about the product?
One drawback is that Zoom’s free plan is quite limited. Meeting duration is capped (especially for group calls), which can interrupt longer discussions and force everyone to rejoin. This can break momentum, feel unprofessional on client meetings, and add extra admin overhead (resending links, restarting recordings, re-explaining context).

Because of that, for teams running frequent or longer meetings, the free version quickly becomes restrictive and you end up needing a subscription to use it smoothly and consistently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom Workplace solves the challenge of effective communication and collaboration for distributed and hybrid teams. It brings meetings, chat, screen sharing, and collaboration tools into one reliable platform, reducing the need to switch between multiple tools.

Stable App Packed with Helpful Features

  • December 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Stable app overall, with lots of helpful features like chat, AI Companion, and animated emojis
Screensharing is easy and less confusing compared to other similar apps
Great recording quality, and easy to record, no need to wait for video processing
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing is high, and notifications for rescheduled calls sometimes still appear at the original time, e.g., ‘Call in 5 mins’ even though it was rescheduled.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom Workplace is my favorite platform for work meetings. It solves the challenges of remote communication and team collaboration by providing reliable video calls, chat, and features like AI Companion.

Reliable for Remote Communication and Collaboration

  • December 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Zoom Workplace brings all communication and collaboration tools into one simple platform. The video quality is reliable, even with larger meetings, making discussions smooth and productive. Features like screen sharing and whiteboards are especially helpful because they allow teams to explain ideas clearly and brainstorm together in real time. I appreciate how easy it is to schedule meetings, join with a single link, and record sessions for future reference. Overall, Zoom Workplace makes remote work and teamwork feel organized and efficient. The initial setup was also very easy and quick, allowing us to get started within minutes without any confusion.
What do you dislike about the product?
Performance can sometimes be affected when the internet connection is weak or unstable. Video quality may drop, audio can lag, or calls may freeze briefly, which can interrupt meetings. This is more noticeable during large group calls or when multiple participants are sharing their screen at the same time. Another area for improvement is system resource usage. Zoom can feel a bit heavy on older laptops or low-end devices, especially during long meetings. Improving optimization for low space devices would help many users. I also think the free plan could be improved by extending the 40-minute limit for group meetings or offering more flexibility. Adding smarter bandwidth optimization and clearer in-software troubleshooting tips would further enhance the overall experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Zoom Workplace for video meetings, team collaboration, and remote communication. It solves communication and collaboration issues with easy virtual meetings, screen sharing, and real-time collaboration from anywhere.

Effortless Collaboration, but Connectivity Demanding

  • December 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Zoom Workplace because it's easy to navigate and very straightforward. I appreciate that it provides a clear resolution, which I think is better than other video conference apps or websites. It's valuable for my work as it allows me to communicate with my colleagues and clients in real time, which is essential for getting work done. The initial setup was very easy, just requiring a simple log-in or creating an account.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it eats up a lot of the internet connection or it is sensitive when it comes to the connection since it is easy to get a lower resolution with an internet connection that is not that slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom Workplace resolves our work-from-home struggles by providing a reliable communication platform, essential for real-time discussions with colleagues or clients despite being in different locations.

A Must-Have for Creative Agencies

  • December 16, 2025

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Zoom Workplace for about a year now, and it's become our secret weapon for everything from client pitches to pumping out ads. The video conferencing is rock-solid and the gallery view with 49 participants is a lifesaver for feedback sessions. The AI companion is fantastic for advertising pros as it auto-generates call summaries and key action items like budget approvals, saving us hours on recaps. Zoom Workplace integrates seamlessly with Canva, allowing for collaborative whiteboarding and screen sharing, which clients really enjoy. The event features are also great, helping us host webinars and capturing polls and Q&A automatically, which converted into 30 solid leads for our services. Team collaboration is a win with Zoom Team Chat replacing Slack, while file sharing is effortless, and AI suggests times for meetings, coordinating with remote freelancers efficiently. The security features, like end-to-end encryption, give me peace of mind. Overall, it has boosted our ad output by 25%, making pitches faster and smoother. Highly recommend giving it a trial.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing stings a bit; the Business plan at $15/user/month adds up when you're scaling. Free tier is too limited for serious ad work—no cloud recording or big meetings. Early on, I hit bandwidth hiccups during peak hours with 1080p video—dialed it back to 720p, problem solved, but it's annoying if you're demoing high-res ad mockups. Customer support is hit-or-miss; chat is quick, but phone wait times can drag. And while AI summaries are gold, they occasionally miss sarcasm in creative feedback—like when our designer joked about a 'killer' logo that wasn't literal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom Workplace centralizes our communication, replacing Slack and Google Meet. Its AI Companion auto-generates action item summaries, saving us time. Collaborative tools like whiteboarding simplify ad content creation. It also helps in hosting webinars that directly generate leads, boosting our ad output by 25%.
