User Friendly Control Panel

  • April 08, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to speak with others on multiple projects at once. It is helpful to know the current progress of several project while maintaining overall flow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wished for a more "user-friendly" control panel on the dashboard. I would like to have more control over details within the larger structure of a project. At times, it can be difficult to achieve desired outcome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My center experienced huge flow issues due to lack of proper communication on multiple projects at once that needed to occur in sync with other components of the larger project. Ex. Team A, needs to know the difference in population in client who use RxAb, but doesn't have the proper code to search. Asana allows for both teams to work in harmony without flack.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Better User-Friendly controls, as in more options

Asana Review

  • April 03, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is helpful once you learn all of its nuances because it sends reminders, and has a free flowing list of all the responsibilities a user puts in it. I also put in my personal stuff, it makes organizing my day a bit easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
How easy it is to delete tasks, I wish they would pause for a moment when deleting a task with sub tasks especially
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The constant need to remind people to get tasks done
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just have some time set aside to use the product correctly

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to integrate with other systems and add users. I like how you can create sub projects and see tasks for yourself across multiple projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didnt like that there was a limited amount of users allowed access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management, event planning, customer information, storing documents. Its great for acentrlized place to keep all things instead of multiple platforms per team.

Fairly easy to understand and use, but can become overwhelming with all the options available.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that there is a significant amount of control over what is included in the description and the breakdown of tasks. The visualization is also extremely easy on the eyes, and it is enjoyable to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how complicated recording a task can become. With the vast number of options, it becomes overwhelming for the average user. Even in simply avoiding the options altogether, it does not make the task easier to create. Perhaps different methods of approaching tasks, and different methods of thinking are all that is required to enjoy Asana. But for me, it was not enjoyable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None. We decided against using it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't be afraid to give it a try! The program is terribly easy to use, and looks beautiful. Just be aware that different people may not be able to approach task completion in the same way.

Asana helps my agency handle all of our clients

  • April 01, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the various dashboards/organization - for instance, I can assign things to myself or others, and categorize these assignments under specific clients if I want to. I can then look at my to do list as a whole, or my to do list for each client. This really helps streamline my day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I think there might be too many bells and whistles - I also don't like that sometimes I get emails for Asana related tasks and other times I don't.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This helps us assign tasks in an orderly way without the danger of missing an email or call. It's almost impossible to forget a task because you have the exact date due and the exact person who assigned it is "following" the task to get any updates
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it! It's like an interactive to do list that everyone on your team can access. Great for small businesses and remote teams.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not a comprehensive solution when project complexity is present.

New product analysis. Helpful when lead-time is short.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Understand the scope and nature of the project before including this in possible solutions.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicty of it and how it breaks away from traditional project mgmt tools
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting is very weak. You can't print the dashboards to scale and the export feature is not great either.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are providing a single pane of glass to manage and track all customer and internal projects and its a great system

Great tool to keep my marketing team on deadline

  • March 23, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to create tasks, tag team members and attach documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be a bit clunky to add sections/projects an I often have to delete a line item or drag and drop to get things in the right place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management and team collaboration are key benefits of using Asana within our marketing department.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Free version is robust and great for managing projects for smaller teams. If you require more detailed PM, paid version is works well.

My review of Asana

  • March 22, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that the software is flexible, fast, and carries a sleek and modern design. It has a very capable free version and it is feature-rich as well. The new Timeline view makes it easier to manage dependencies.
What do you dislike about the product?
This software is not ideal for graphics-intensive work. One simply can't switch between Task and Kanban project views after creation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is a top-notch collaboration tool that helps our team manage all kinds of tasks. Although it was a bit confusing at first, its flexibility and vast capabilities were well worth the initial effort it takes to get started.
