What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to communicate with coworkers not located in the same office. It is easy to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our tasks have similar names in all of our projects, it’s really hard to tell what project a task is associated with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previous communication issues among different moving team members.

Very Useful Projektmanagment Tool especially for Process planning
What do you like best about the product?
On every Plattform you can use the Same Functions and everyone can use the Base Functions for free.
What do you dislike about the product?
That they don´t offer discounts for NGOs, Students or other charitable things.

Asana can be a very useful tool for starters. The Con is definitly that you can not selfhost it and the Privacy is not a very high protected thing it seems like.
A Well-Worth Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
Asana's task assigning system and ability to join teams with a clearly labelled focus is one of its greatest strengths. You are constantly "in the know" about your tasks at hand and can upload descriptions and images, as well as comment on how the assignment is going. Assigners of the task is kept up to date with the person completing the job marks it complete and can track any changes
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a while to learn, especially with the UI on mobile. It's helpful to sort by both completed and incomplete tasks. Speaking of those tasks, the assigner can overrule you on the task and mark it complete sometimes leaving you out of the loop until you get a notification.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The integration with slack has been key. Think of an organised and official to do list that helps keep track of tasks to be done as well as puts it into a professional tracker and loops in a lot of people in your network, but more importantly, the right people.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure that when beginning to learn, you have a dedicated task and project leaders/committees. Sorting everything out with this overall organisation in mind makes the jump into Asana and its implementation so much easier

What do you like best about the product?
It's priced by far below other tools and it works for what we needed to get done. Most of the functionality is basic but they keep launching more and more updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system went down quit often sometimes partially but twice in one year it went down fully for several hours.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I'd recommend it for smaller organizations not looking to spend a lot or dont have resources for more complex offerings
Nice Free Option for Small Teams
What do you like best about the product?
I like the "Board" view offered because it allows you to organize your tasks in so many ways. You can uses the columns to represent that status of a task, the person it is assigned to, the sub project, the possibilities are endless. The ability to add items within tasks, and to assign individual items to different team members is great. For a free tool, what is included out of the box is quite feature full.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to be able to filter tasks on the board based on whether they are completed or not. Having them greyed out does convey that they are not active but eventually they clutter up the interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better visibility into progress towards completing projects and into individual team members roles in each project.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana is a great option compared to some of the project management tools on the market that come with a high cost, and a lot of features that might not be used in a small org.
Easy to Keep Track of Colleagues' Work
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is great for keeping track of your team's to-do items. It allows you to create tasks with subtasks, due dates, assignees, and upload any type of document that you want to each task. We primarily use it for marketing campaigns, but it allows us to divvy up the work and keep track on everyone's progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana isn't any different than using a free service like Google Calendars or Trello where you assign people tasks with due dates. It does, however, have a simplistic view so it's easy to see what everyone is doing without having to look up the dates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has allowed our team to assign tasks that also notify us through Gmail. We are able to see subtasks as well as any document that is attached to each item, which allows for an organized system. I personally love it for the fact that I'm able to see what all of my colleagues are doing in Asana and access their information.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have room in your budget to include Asana, it's a great software that allows you to keep track of all of your team's tasks and subtasks. However, many consider free softwares like Trello and Google Calendar to keep track of tasks, so it depends on what you value: inexpensive or easy usability?

It's helpful to be able to assign members of your team tasks and ask questions on it with others input and ability to see the conversation that's happening.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not the greatest for creating a project plan that includes many tasks and due dates. It's visually not appealing.

It's great for virtual environments to utilize this as a means to solve problems and create SOPs.

Having it open for your running 'to-do list' is a great feature

Practical and very functional manager of tasks and projects, collaborative. It is great to keep all matters under control and on time.

The learning curve of asanas can be steep as it has a lot of features that make it robust

Asana helped me to keep organized, manage and keep under control every project in which we work.

What do you like best about the product?
I like it easy for users to keep track of their work and get results immediately, plus it makes it easier for us to work on tasks and projects and we can even have conversations with our family and friends. These are some of the things I like best because I tend to be very forgetful and this application reminds me of all the things I add.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the things I do not like about this program is that many times it does not open and is super slow and that Premium users are super expensive and it is very bad taste that to use some tools of the program need a Premium user and many times we need it urgently to organize any kind of work, in addition to it I have had many problems with notifications because many times I do not appear in the beginning have to solve this situation as soon as possible, but the rest goes well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This helps us to collaborate in the area of work because no matter where the user is, allows us to work safely with any type of person, since it is possible to share large files, view and comment on any type of document, and connect with colleagues, regardless of the device they use so I use it for both my daily life and for work and not only reminds you of things but you can share files is an excellent application I love this application hopefully solve problems in notifications.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My recommendation is to use this program and can take advantage of it to make their work easier and safer, as it has too much storage to open large files also has a free version which is quite good and super functional and is a great program. It's an easy tool to learn and powerful enough to manage your whole business. Plus, it's free.
