Asana keeps track so I don’t have to
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to integrate to do lists across my computer and phone.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish some of the paid functionalities were available for free, like setting creation dates for tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There isn’t a computer app. I have to use a 3rd party app to make one.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It’s a good option for task tracking.

I thought some aspects of Asana were great when planning out a project and the multiple tabs made it helpful.

Asana is way too difficult to figure out without the proper training.

What do you like best about the product?
the program is really helpful in my work as a project manager especially for its tools in allowing group collaboration. It has a great interface and offers clean and organized options for keeping record of project tasks especially helpful when multitasking and working on multiple projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the default email generation, for every task an email is sent out and this can be too much information overload. I was unable to disable this in the settings and even when I turned off he notifications, it continued to send emails. too many notifications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
mostly group collaboration task management for projects.. very good for this but as mentioned above, the email notification default is really annoying, bombarding our inboxes!
Easy, cheap/free, limited features
What do you like best about the product?
It's simple, if simple is what you need. The free tier is OK.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too much relentless upselling - it gets in the way of controls and clutters up the display.

Asana is one of the most popular project management software currently available on the market. The robust work management platform serves your teams so they can stay focused on the goals, projects, and daily tasks as you grow your business.
What do you dislike about the product?
So, we have to talk about emails. I, as I'm sure many others do too, have a huge number of tasks assigned to me on Asana. Many of these involve other people - clients, team members, project managers, etc. They all have different deadlines and start dates. Every single action involving you, by default, generates an email. Even after turning many of these notifications off, the Updates folder in my inbox is still so full or notifications, it's very common to miss more important ones. Also, the very fact that there is an Inbox IN Asana itself, means that you are notified of everything twice.

Asana’s boards lets you easily visualize your work. Move work through multiple stages quickly, easily, and beautifully.Share results with your team and see how work is progressing to see what’s on track and what needs attention.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been working with Asana on side project. This is a great tool very similar to Basecamp

The emails update are not user friendly at all

Workflow. We are better at organizing and it is also cheaper then basecamp

What do you like best about the product?
It is a tool with a very intuitive interface and easy to use is designed for the management and coordination of projects and work teams, helping to make it easier and everyone can collaborate in the implementation of projects regardless of the position, everyone is in charge of the project and that is something I really love asana, in addition to its design is super simple allowing the organization of any project either marketing, also allows the entire team to become familiar with the plan, ideas allowing everyone to get involved in the project achieving a better result for this and much more is that asana is our favorite tool in project management.

There is really nothing that I dislike about asana is the perfect tool and ideal for any type of project that you have to do is perfect and easy to use and really helps you organize projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently we are using asana in the organization of projects because with it we have achieved that our team is better organized and work better as a team because with asana everyone is involved in the implementation of the project thus achieving better results.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend asana if you find yourself needing a tool that allows you to join your team to get a project forward this is the tool you need with asana you can organize everything and achieve just what you need with your team.

Very organized and user friendly. Easier to identify communications and problems.

Needs to be more minimalist. A simple ux makes workflow to easier and faster.

Communication between teammates.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the different columns that tasks can be added under. The required steps are easily laid out and can the status can be changed by one simple click. It’s great when working with a team to monitor the progress of different team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like team members to be able to customize their setup of the timeline without changing the other team member’s viewing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project timelines used to be all on paper or verbalized in team meetings. It was coming for team members to either forget about a task or be late on completion. This app holds people accountable and allows everyone to view the timeline on their computer.
