Asana: Task Management at best
What do you like best about the product?
Management of Tasks is very efficient for new users.
What do you dislike about the product?
AI related helping tool for user if needed to search anything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Proper management of Tasks and tracking of their progress.
ASANA for Meeting Management
What do you like best about the product?
Aside from regular project management, I use Asana DAILY to run L10 meetings with my teams and individuals I manage. I'm able to work collaboratively with them to pre-populate our agendas, manage our discussions, capture action items and follow-up on our discussions. Our management team uses it to manage our strategic initiative meetings and keep all of our deliverables easily accessible to the whole team. I'd be lost without it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although the calendar functionality is great, it could be even better if you could be more selective in terms of which tasks end up on the calendar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Resolving issues regarding visibility and accountability among team members. Providing tools for collaboration and task management. The dashboards are also helping us gain insight into our team member's workloads.

Pricing - it could be cheaper. We could also create more reports per board (20 is sometimes not enough)

Easy task management - easy task creation, easy task assignment, due date,and adding details about task. Must say very easy for a common man to manage

Dont have the option to add hours and reporting can be improved.

Project Management. As a manager I would like to see how many tasks are open, when they will be finished, who is working and if they have any questions or concerns. All things at one place

I think Asana's ease of use is one of its best features. It's intuitive, so even new users can quickly pick it up and start managing tasks and projects without much friction. The layout is clean, and the interface makes it easy to see project timelines, tasks, and team communication in one place.
The ease of integration is another huge plus. It integrates well with tools like Slack, Google Drive, and many others, which helps streamline workflows and avoid jumping between different platforms.
And I can't leave out the frequency of use—it's the kind of tool that you end up using daily because of how central it becomes in managing team projects and staying organized. Whether it's for tracking deadlines or collaborating with teammates, it's just so reliable!

What do you dislike about the product?
Although Asana provides a lot of flexibility in terms of projects and task views (list, board, timeline, etc.), when it comes to fully customizing workflows, there are some restrictions. For instance, while custom fields are available, they can be a bit cumbersome to manage across different projects, especially when you’re dealing with a large number of them. Advanced custom workflows, like automating specific actions between different types of tasks or creating highly specialized project templates, can be more challenging without using third-party tools or complex integrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me create clear, structured task flows for handling accounting work requests and approvals. I can easily set up task dependencies, like “Approve expense report” → “Process payment,” and track each step in the process. This ensures that nothing falls through the cracks and that everyone on my team knows their responsibilities. I can also use custom fields to capture important details like invoice numbers or account codes, making sure the information I need is always at my fingertips. This results in smoother workflows and helps me avoid delays or missed tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is user friendly and promotes a clear and concise review of items needed to onboard new individuals to my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana can be initially difficult to work with, as its UI is typically used for larger scale operations in comparison to our workload.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana allows my team to diversify what task they are doing at any given point in time, shifting between varied fields of work from hands on technician work to online training modules.

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Asana for personal task management even when my organization doesn't use it across the company. It is easy to use and get started on and makes any project feel more manageable. I love that I can easily scale everything up or down.

I really have no complaints! A perfect management platform.

It's a little pricey, but worth it when everyone can be on the same page.

It makes sure that tasks can be assigned and managed by multiple people, and everyone can clearly see what is ahead and what is completed or needs attention.
