Asana keeps our remote team in sync
What do you like best about the product?
Our team is spread out across Ontario, with another team member in BC. Asana helps us stay on track with each other and the tasks on deck, even when our work hours don't sync up. We use it every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I wish there was more of a visual element in some of the tasks. Maybe being able to use icons to visually distinguish between different kinds of tasks at a glance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps keep our remote team in sync.
Phenomenal app for project management and prioritization
What do you like best about the product?
I find the task management software is simple to use yet incredibly effective. It is easy to implement into a desktop app, and improved my efficiency and ability to track prioritisation of tasks within the first week of using it. I find the feature that allows you to assign different people/departments to tasks is very useful, as it gets the task onto their to-do list, even while working remotely from eachother.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit difficult to switch between multiple accounts or teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped with inter-department workflow, and my personal task prioritisation.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are challenges in finding a particular task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana when working with an outside vendor who provides Amazon services for our company. Asana has assisted in helping us to organize the various required tasks on each project. The ability to move files back and forth through Asana rather than email, keeping them organized, is a great boon.
Asana is brilliant for work or home organisation
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has different views, for example lists and calendar views. Which is great.
The project function is great, to categorise all of your tasks by project and you can have sub categories for each.
I look at it every day and it keeps me on track with my tasks.

What do you dislike about the product?
I think it’s more advanced features are a little difficult to use - like automations.

We have clear, broken down tasks. That you know who is responsible for deliver and by what date. It allows you to organise your time effectively each day, and juggle everything!
Asana does the job!

What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found an Asana weakness. Maybe, if I had to split hairs, is there are too many features ?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to designate tasks to individuals, and then see the progress in a scroll timeline as they check items in via a simple drag and drop!
Tried every other system. Asana is the only way that works for me

Intuitive Tool for Managing Team Projects
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive interface that makes task management incredibly simple. It’s very easy to create tasks, assign them to team members, and track progress with timelines and boards.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the most useful features—such as advanced reporting and timeline dependencies—are only available in the premium version, which can be costly for smaller teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps our team to solve the problem of disorganized communication and scattered tasks. Before Asana, we struggled with keeping track of who was doing what and when it was due. Now, everything is centralized—tasks, deadlines, and project updates are easy to find and follow.

Asana is a great and light task force application for students and more
What do you like best about the product?
clearly I missed out on using something like Asana being super helpful and wished I used asana during my earlier years of post secondary education. Some of my favorite features about Asana is that they created an ease with their workflow and timeline sections when creating a new project. Everything on your screen neatly laid out in terms of discussion tasks, project ideas, and setting your status to when a project starts and ends. Everything is straightforward for the most part and super collaborative. As for frequency of use here, using it a few times have made projects or solid tasks more memorable with people. To-do boards and lists are one of my favorite features in order to ease the implementation of organizing complex or multi-step tasks. Customer support is super easy to access and the integration of working with people and the tools required for success is clearly shown in your performance on the web interface application.
What do you dislike about the product?
The advanced 14 day free trial is offered but really unnecessary, and overall this website would benefit a lot from people using it more than having to pay for it just to use those same amazing features. Otherwise it should be free for students working on big upcoming projects and tasks for the week(s) or semester.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Explicitly organizing big work projects by color, time, date, name, and marked progressing tasks seamlessly and very conveniently. Solves the problem of task delegation made easier for everyone, give a motivational format for groups working together. Each team member gets to set their own deadlines and track their progress along the time, it can be a lot of work in the beginning but it prevents you from forgetting the each delegated task of each member of a final project. if there is a lot to keep on top of you stay accountable to the team and monitor yourself accordingly by avoiding being late due dates for any project deadlines
Found a live Asana webinar worthwhile. Excellent facilitator, presentation clear and informative.
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Asana is how it brings clarity and structure to team workflows. It’s intuitive, highly customizable, and makes it easy to track progress, delegate tasks, and stay aligned, especially in fast-moving, remote environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Asana is powerful, its flexibility can be overwhelming at first, especially for new users without clear setup guidance. Some features, like advanced reporting or workload views, are locked behind premium tiers, which can limit smaller teams from maximizing its full potential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps solve the problem of scattered communication and unclear task ownership. By centralizing projects, deadlines, and responsibilities, it keeps everyone in the team aligned and accountable. For me, it reduces follow-up emails, streamlines collaboration, and ensures that nothing falls through the cracks.
