Easy to run!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is super user friendly! We really appreciate our Rep helping up through the integration process!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still some features we would like to see but our rep has been great about passing along the things we need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is helping our organization keep track of tasks!
User Friendly but lacks features and value compared to others.
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is easy to set up and use. The layout of Teams > Projects > Tasks > Subtasks is logical and intuitive. The API made it simple to connect with Gmail and Google Drive. Their training resources and tech support are also great.
What do you dislike about the product?
On the Starter plan, Asana lacked features that other project management tools offer at a similar price point, for example, native time tracking and the ability to create dashboards that pull data from multiple projects.
I understand these features may be available on a higher-tier plan, but that brings me to another concern: the value for money. As a sole trader, I was required to pay for a minimum of two users—something that wasn’t made clear until after the free trial ended. This effectively doubled the cost compared to other providers, while offering fewer features.

Gives a clear structure of what projects and tasks I need to work on, and helps me keep track of related information and time spent.
It's good, only if you pay
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is one of the easiest project management tools I’ve used. The interface is intuitive, the design is clean, and it’s incredibly simple to get started—even with a team that isn’t super tech-savvy. Compared to other platforms I’ve tried, it strikes a great balance between functionality and user experience, especially for task tracking and collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside is how limited the free version is. Features that are standard on many other platforms—like custom fields, timeline views, or even basic automation—are locked behind a paywall. You’re essentially forced into a paid plan even for basic team needs. On top of that, there’s no option for a single-user paid account, which feels like a major oversight. It’s frustrating for solo operators or freelancers who just need a bit more functionality without paying for a full team plan. Implementation is no easier than the rest, unfortunately. While it is easier to learn on the staff-side, for an operations person setting it up, it is still just as complicated. Customer Support also leaves a lot to be desired. Integration with other apps is incredibly clunky and doesn't work the way you think it would half the time causing a huge learning curve (especially with Slack)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously our team was in silos and this has allowed us to work more cross-functionally easing a lot of our stress points throughout the organizaiton.
Great for getting organised
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy Asana is to use and how smooth it is to navigate around. The system is easy to implement within my day-to-day role. I use it all day for work, checking off my tasks, updating my team with comments on projects and the best thing I love is using the portfolios to keep everything organised.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love it if Asana could come up with a way for tasks to fall into the matching project in my tasks, at the moment this is something I need to do manually. It would be a good time saving exercise to have some automation with that aspect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem Asana is helping with is being able to assign tasks to my colleagues. As a hybrid working company, it's easy to keep on top of what's going on, and being able to assign tasks to my colleagues when there's no time to talk to them really helps.
A useful tool for project tracking, but room for improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a practical solution for organising projects and keeping track of tasks within a team. I appreciate how easy it is to assign responsibilities, set deadlines and collaborate across different projects. The user interface is fairly intuitive, even for those who are not familiar with project management platforms. The ability to integrate Asana with other tools is also a significant advantage.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Asana offers value for daily task management, I find its more advanced project features somewhat limited, especially in the free or basic plans. Key functions that would support more structured teams or complex workflows are locked behind premium subscriptions, which may not be cost-effective compared to other platforms. In addition, features such as task dependencies and reporting could be more flexible. In high-volume environments, Asana can feel overwhelming without a strict internal structure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps centralise task management and project tracking within the team. It provides better visibility on responsibilities and deadlines, reducing the risk of missed tasks. It also facilitates communication on ongoing projects. However, for more complex workflows or high-volume activity, additional tools or stricter processes are still required.
Looking to Asana to fill the gaps!
What do you like best about the product?
How it helps me and my team keep work organized and on track.
What do you dislike about the product?
Onboarding process has not been as helpful as I would have liked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to see what work is being done and what needs to get done.
Lots of options, templates, fast...
What do you like best about the product?
So far I've been using the desktop app for daily tasks, the site for admin purposes only. Had only one interaction with customer support so I don't have much of an opinion there. Was easy to implement, no issues there.
What do you dislike about the product?
Selection of items in Lists, and the text editor on the desktop app is a bit too excited and often selects more than what I wanted, when the same action in other apps does not cause the same issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can put different sources about a specific task inside one project. One place to find all the notes and info.
Asanas ease of use is phenomenal
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is so easy and intuative to use which makes it a great choice for a day to day task tool, great tool for begginers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Doesn't have enough features if you want your whole operation in 1 place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes it easier to follow the daily tasks and their progress.
A Great Task Tracker But Not Differentiating Enough
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use, easy to scale, easy to deploy/implement, and easy to collaborate with others on
What do you dislike about the product?
When a user is terminated there's no good way of saving their boards with an offboarding workflow - not differentiating enough from the pack, there's a lot of other softwares that do the same thing at a cheaper price point
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was our task and project collaboration tool and allowed us to keep track of our running tasks
Easy to use with great UI/UX
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the user interface of Asana, including interlinking documents, sheets and drives.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are features that are confusing in the software like adding multiple stages in the task and duplicating tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves the problem of managing tasks on a daily basis and collaborating with other teams for work.
