great tool for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
it is very user-friendly and as a perfect tool to monitor different aspect of project management, it is very interactive.
What do you dislike about the product?
this software is very slow in terms of updates. sometimes it takes months without any updates or improvements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
sometimes depents on the type of the project, we use it to manage the different process of the project specially for those with very tight deadlines.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
it is a perfect tool for those how are not familiar with the project management area. It has a very interactive environment and its perfect to take advantage of this tool in your presentation to the stakeholders.

What do you like best about the product?
The sub task feature is very helpfull and the portofolio even once better.

Sometimes list view task and calendar task is not syncron.

It can documentation all over project in my office.
Powerful tool but features can get overwhelming
What do you like best about the product?
It’s great for managing projects with multiple stakeholders. It’s easy to assign tasks and organize them in a variety of different ways

There are so many different features and it’s not always obvious how to use them, even to someone who works at a tech startup. The sheer number of different features and pages can get overwhelming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s really helped with keeping track of progress and seeing what everyone needs to work on.
Asana is kind of okay
What do you like best about the product?
It’s helpful to get the tasks aligned. Easy to track. The job done criteria’s are clearly defined. In fact on hold is also wisely done.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t like the number of steps I need to do to get to something. It’s a lot of clicks. I don’t want to waste time on clicks to get get to one thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s used for tracking and updating stories and tasks. It’s beneficial to accommodate all the tasks in various stages.
Great for sharing, but not always intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Asana is that it allows for easy sharing of projects, assignments, and information among team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Asana interface does not always seem intuitive and it can occasionally be difficult to find what I'm looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana allows me to share information with other team members in real time, assign taks, and manage follow up. This is especially helpful when team members are not always working during the same times or in the office during regular hours.

This Software works for us tracking what needs to be done and what we have accomplished as we go along

I don't like that it's so similar to other softwares that we use in our company

We are solving the transparency problem in our company. We can see what every department is working on when we use Asana

Asana does exactly what they say they will do. They help you track your tasks and who they are assigned to, you can set due dates and see what's been completed and by whom.

Allows multiple people to contribute at the same time. Allows to put in tasks and follow status of them.

What do you dislike about the product?
Entering tasks is a little clumsy. For example when you create new task it's if you move your mouse away from the task you have to scan the project for tasks created that have no description. Would be better to have a save task or create a task and move it into a project. The way it works is you create a task in a project and it can be easily buried

Allows collaboration of project tasks, has one common interface for everyone to view their own view.

This works for basic project management. Enter your project and tasks follow status of them.

What do you like best about the product?
How easily you can plan, organize, improve team collaboration, and work management. It helps teams manage projects and tasks in one tool. The calendar view for projects and tasks is nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
How little support there is when you have an issue you want to quickly resolve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improved project management tracking and deadlines. I have realized the benefit of the task tool and calendar.

The structure that allows for both larger overarching tasks and smaller sub tasks helps improve project management.

Often the collaboration on this tool is subpar as we rely heavily on comments on a task

This has helped me better delegate smaller projects to other members of the team, freeing up my time.

I have truthfully not run into much that I dislike.
